This kind of levitation made Linda misunderstand that Elly's frustration stems from Alex's lack of notice on a business trip. So when they moved to the living room for tea, Elly told her. "You should call Mr. Gerald."

Linda obeyed and went out to call him "Gerald, did you go back to the hotel? Or are you still working?"

"I just arrived at the hotel a few hours earlier. Why? Do you miss me?"

Listening to Gerald's joke, Linda scolded if she was unhappy. "I didn't call to flirt with you. You and Mr. Alex are in the same place knowing that Elly doesn't know about this business trip, so why don't you persuade him to call her? Elly is in a bad mood now. Are you really her friend?"

Gerald felt a little shy because of her swearing. However, he was not angry with her and has a straightforward temper. "About this. The boss is asleep. I'll remind him tomorrow, okay?"

Linda continued to listen to his report on Alex's work schedule today. Gerald continued. "He had a meeting for a few hours and went to the workshop to check the products. after a day of throwing pressure, Alex's physical strength had reached its limit. He went back to his room to have a rest after dinner and there was no movement."

"Okay. For now, I'll comfort Elly." Linda copied a boring mouth.

Gerald said his I love you and then Linda hung up. When the words were not round enough, Gerald's voice disappeared because she turned off her phone soon.

As she saw Linda in a far, Elly sat alone on the sofa in the living room. She doesn't dare to hold the phone in her hand.

She wanted to question Alex but worried that he was busy with his work or disturbing his rest time, and finally, she just sat quietly in the middle of the living room, waiting for him to come back to explain.

Sometimes, to love each other was to put down your pride and think of each other. However, Alex went on a business trip one day and Elly with the company had an accident.

Emily asserted forcefully that there was nothing wrong with her work. Elly let out a sigh and tried to calm herself down. "It's not that I don't want to trust you, but it turns out to be true. I don't trust you, but the result speaks to itself.'"

When she looked at Emily, she also spoke as the whole company. Now, they are not talking about the causes, but they were dealing with the consequences first.

All the bills for the donation will be sent to you by Assistant Leon."

He looked at her with vengeance and dissatisfaction. "You said I wouldn't get fired. How are you going to make it up to me? My family is counting on me to pay that money back."

The crowd stopped in surprise, they looked at each other bewildered.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand." Emily's innocent expression showed that he didn't know what he was talking about.

His voice was shaking. " Emily, you said you would give me half the money."

In the face of doubt, Emily took her time and continued to play dumb. "What? What are you making up?"

The male colleague blinked, grabbed Emily's collar and pulled her up, and asked ferociously. "You dare to fool me?"

Emily pulled up her skirt and spattered the buttons, revealing most of her skin. She slapped her colleague on the front and shouted. Shocked, his hand loosened, allowing Emily to escape the opportunity. She hid behind her male colleague.

Emily had tears in her eyes and her voice was wet and pitiful. "You broke the law. Why did you drag me into this? What have I done to make you hate so much?"
