Chapter 27 Kidnapping

In the morning, Elly refused John's offer to drive her to work. She planned to stop by the supermarket before going to work.

Just out of her subdivision, due to her negligence, she bumped into a man causing the folder in her hand to spread.

The HR department asked her to add some personal information, so today she brought the necessary papers to the company.

When the man picked up the papers, he was surprised to see the information on them.

"Are you Elly?"

That the man called her name correctly made her surprise, "Do we know each other?"

"You applied to our company before. My name is Louis. I am the HR manager of NEF Export Company."

He showed his business card and spoke quickly. "I especially came here to look for Miss Elly. Did you receive a successful announcement from our company?"

Reading the words on the business card, she lifted her head in surprise, "Wasn't I was rejected when I submitted it to your company?"

A company that rejected her application came to her is strange?

"In the past, we had no intention of recruiting her, but if Miss Elly is now willing to work, our company always welcome you"

"I don't understand what you mean. NEF always rejects my applications and then actively looks for the candidate who was rejected?" Elly frowned in confusion.

Louis scratched his nose and timidly laughed

The door was pushed from the outside, and a stubborn man entered. "Kid, are you awake?"

Elly was infuriated at the guy's disrespectful calling. Trying to control her temper, she also hid her fear inside, calmly asked. "Why did you kidnap me? Who order?"

"Why do you think someone made me kidnap you?" The man looked at her with interest.

She continued to pretend to calm, she lowered her voice for more persuasion. "Do you need money? How much have is your pay? I can double, or triple, just let me go. Is it okay?"

The man squatted in front of her, patting her face teasingly.

"You claimed to be poor?"

"I don't have money, but my husband has a lot of money. He can satisfy the money you ask for."

"As you said, your family has money, that's fine. And you saw my face, you think you can turn back intact? Are you dreaming? Do you have the right to negotiate with us?" The man squeezed her jaw and then left with a smile.

The door closed, darkness swallowed her once again.

For John, he was about to explain when she hung up.

He called back but no one answered. John started to walk around with his anxiety.

Elly recently forgave him, agreed to move to live together, now she discovers more about this, will she ignore and accept the apology?

John made another phone call, it was still in a shutdown state. He started messaging constantly but it fell silent.

In his frustration he dismissed all the objects on the table, blaming himself for the stupid actions that made Elly angry.

Finally, unable to bear the feeling of sitting on a fire, he rushed out of the hospital and drove to her company. He wanted to meet her directly to explain.

Because John freely went to the room to meet Elly for the last time, Alex listed him on the blacklist, strictly forbidden him from going to the office.

"Sir, if you don't have an appointment, you can't go directly to the office."

"I don't want to see Alex. I want to meet Miss Elly, would you mind contacting her down to meet her relative." John held his hand tightly because he was repeatedly prevented. He has never suffered this humiliation.

John quickly went to the elevator, ignoring the receptionist's words.
