Chapter 209: Chapter 209
Chapter 211 Mom is not jealous
Elly did not cry bitterly in the room as Kitten said. She sat quietly by the window. When she saw Alex driving into the yard, she unconsciously shrank herself for fear that he might see her.
Strangely, she believed in Alex's character and nature. Emily had been with him for three years, and they were lovers, but he had never touched her once, proving that he was both principled and old-fashioned, contrary to his image as president of the Hargreaves Company.
How could the girl who haunted Alex in Emily's office had such a poor sight, that he was entangled with such a person?
Just right after she saw that scene, strong emotions suddenly aroused in her, At that moment, she immediately thought that he had betrayed her feelings.
Now that he was very busy with his work, he also stayed back to explain that it was a lie to say that she was not soft-hearted.
Her mind was filled with hazy thoughts, then suddenly she heard a knock on the door, and Alex's male voice sounded.
"Elly, can you open the door? I want to explain."
After a few seconds of silence, he insisted.
"Elly, it's not what you think. It's a misunderstanding. I don't even know who she is."
Alex persisted outside the door for a long time, which was completely out of his original ruthless character. There was no sound in the room, and he was so nervous that he wanted to look for the housekeeper to take out the spare key.
He heard a sound.
"Open the door! Open the door! Are you O.K.?"
The door suddenly opened and his arm stopped from knocking in mid-air.
Without saying a word, Elly turned her back to him. He followed cautiously, stood beside her, and said hesitantly.
"Elly, let me explain!"
"What excuse are you going to say to continue lying to me?" Her irritable tone filled his heart with joy.
Alex knew her arrogance, and when she opened her mouth, she gave in, which is lucky enough.
"She came straight in and handed me the coffee and poured it on me on purpose. Before I could push her away, you came just in time."
"I'm sorry I came just in time to ruin the good for both of you. You sounded like you're blaming me for disturbing you."
"Elly, listen, which department does she work in? I don't even know. How can I cheat on you?"
"If you knew which department she worked in, would you do anything wrong?" Elly was talking nonsense.
Alex had a bad temper. "I already kicked her out of the company."
"Oh yeah? Have you also driven her out of the Operations Department?" Elly deliberately twisted her tone and did not forget to observe Alex's face.
Alex raised his right hand and solemnly swore. "If I have a crush on her, I'll take the flash circuit, I'll cross the broken bridge and take a shipwreck."
Elly's quickest reaction was to slap him in the mouth to stop his oath and his reproachful voice. "You can't say such cruel things anymore, you hear me?"
Bang!
Alex touched his warm cheek and suddenly realized. "Doesn't the wife always cover the man's mouth with her little hands? For the first time, I enjoyed that feeling."
Elly was deaf and can't hear him. "What you said still hasn't calmed down my anger. Although I don't easily believe with hearsay, you are the one I care about, so stop talking nonsense."
Seeing that she cared about him, Alex pulled her and tugged at her waist. Elly's soft body was locked in a strong bosom. He bent down and asked softly. "Are you angry?"
"Let me go!" After saying this, Elly felt that they were like fools. She wanted to laugh, but she had to act serious and bear with it.
"Well, then allow me to kiss you. Would it stop you from being angry?"
"Come here." Elly can't stand it. She looked at him for a few seconds and tried to push him away. "Bitch! Who told you to hug me? I'm not finished yet."
He felt that her little body was struggling like a kitten, her chest was hot, and the warm feeling spread all over his body, dispelling the tiredness of the whole week and erasing the fear she had lost on the way home.
He hugged her tightly and lingered in her ear, igniting Elly's ear in one breath, making her red and lovely. He rubbed her ear like a fool and whispered. "Hmmm! I am hugging my whole world and I'll never let her go."
In the living room, butler Geno's face softened somewhat, for there was no more sound of scolding or smashing from the upstairs room, and he knew that things had calmed down.
When he saw Kitten sitting on the sullen sofa, the housekeeper went up to coax him. "Master Kitten, they are fine now. Why are you still sad?"
Kitten nodded and said. "He hurt my mother, so I can't forgive him easily."
He knew how much the little boy loved his mother, which made housekeeper Geno smiled secretly. It seemed that the life of the boss's would be overwhelmed by Elly and Kitten.
That night, they had a dinner for three, since Alex had not had dinner with Elly and Kitten for several days now.
Kitten poked at the dish with his head down. Elly immediately held Alex's hand, winked at him to coaxed their son.
"Kitten, you said you would forgive me as long as your mother is no longer angry with me. Can you do that without a heavy heart?"
Kitten was still dismissive and unwilling to answer. He looked down pitifully.
Alex took the boy's favorite fried chicken wings and continuously courted: "Wow, look, Dad has your favorite chicken wings. Say 'Aaah'."
Who would have thought that Kitten would put the chicken wings back on the plate, forked large fresh mushrooms and chewed them into his mouth without saying a word?
Knowing that he was all thumbs and unable to sigh, Elly coaxed him loudly. "Son, I already explained to you earlier, right? This is just a misunderstanding, mom is not angry with dad, so you don't have to be mad at him, okay?"
"But dad made mom sad. A man who makes a woman he loves cry doesn't deserve forgiveness." Kitten's voice was full of discontent, and his round eyes were teary.
Elly stood up, walked to him and explained patiently. "Son, are you mad at dad because he upset you, and not because you think he did something wrong?"
Kitten nodded and agreed with Elly, and he continued to listen.
"But now that you are angry with him, your father will not be happy, and if you won't forgive dad and will continue to be mad at him, mom will be unhappy, too."
Although Kitten could not fully understand Elly's words, he understood what Elly meant. If he continued to be angry, his mother would be very sad.
Kitten shook his head seriously. "I don't want to hurt you. I love you."
With that, he turned around, looked at Alex, and then said a few words. "But if the husband is faithful, will she be jealous? Mom should not be jealous and should forgive you soon, okay?"
As soon as his mouth twisted, Alex said sadly. "Did you know that your mother slapped me?"
With a sigh of relief, Kitten said reluctantly. "Well, in order to save your face from my mother Elly, I will forgive you this time. But you can't make my mother sad anymore."
Alex didn't expect that he will be lectured by his son one day. Although he wanted to tap his forehead and question his way of teaching him, but he simply nodded in agreement. "Okay, I promise, I won't upset mom."
Looking at the warmth of the family of three at the dinner party, the butler Geno was glad, and he was happy that the boss finally felt the warmth of home.
After Amanda was fired, she got separated and went back to her dormitory. Suddenly the landlord knocked on the door and asked for rent.
"Open the door and don't hide in there, pretending that there's no one inside! I saw you get off from work!"
Amanda slowly opened the door as she bit her lip, looked at the resident's ferocious expression in fear, took the resident's hand, and pleaded in a low voice. "Sister, can you give me a few more days? I lost my job today, and I don't have enough money right now."
"If I will give you the only money I have, how could I find a new job? How would I be able to eat?
"If you can't find a job, are you going to never pay the rent? Do you think you are my parents and that I should take care of you for free?"
The landlord scolded Amanda's, shook off her hand, and gave her an extra push to the chest.
As she fell to the floor, her face grew pale, and the flames of anger burned in her heart and made her voice clear. "What do you want me to do?"
The landlord smiled. "It has been hired by someone else, so you better pack your bags tomorrow and move out right away."
"Where's my deposit?"
"Your rent is a week late. And your deposit has already covered your stay." With that, the landlord closed the door on Amanda's face and left ambiguously.
Amanda felt that today was so unlucky that all the bad things were on her head. First, she got fired, and her job application would be adversely affected. She lost her car card on the way home, and now she was driven by the landlord to leave on the same day. Her mood was full of negative emotions.
She was still sitting on the floor, desperate, her fingers trembling and dialed a number.
The phone rang twice, it was connected, and the man's low voice answered coldly. "What happened?"
Amanda was like grabbing the last straw. She cried and begged. "I'm begging you, help me. I really have no money. I have nowhere to go. I'll do what you say."
The man snot easily. "What's in it for me? Why should I help a useless person?"
"No, no! I'm very useful. As long as you give orders, I'll do what you say. Whatever. Just give me a chance. I'm begging you." Amanda yelled madly at his cell phone, as if he was afraid of the other person hanging up the phone. Now, all her hopes rest on this man.
