Chapter 175: Chapter 175

Chapter 177 Actresses

"John Elliot." Elly was still looking at her sleeping eyes, clasping her face unconsciously.

Alex always knew that Elly had not forgotten John, but his heart was filled with a sour feeling when he heard her shouting and getting drunk in the distance.

The lips of the two were only a few inches away, her breath smelled of alcohol, and Alex was heavy-hearted, but his body did not listen, and still bowed over her.

Seeing himself and torturing himself as a fool, he tried to sit up straight with his backhand, and Elly continued to murmur to herself.

'Okay, I'm sorry. I can't hate him. I can't. I still love him.'

These ambiguous words made Alex's thoughts tremble.

'You mean me?' His voice was dysfunctional and asked her nervously if she had heard her voice while sleeping.

"Yeah." Elly tilted her head, rubbed her palm on the side of his face, and hummed uniformly from the middle of his lips.

Alex sniffled, bowed her head, staggered at the tip of her nose, and gritted her teeth. "You really know how to torture me."

His eyes softened, reached out and stroked her cheek, and said painfully. "You don't have to feel guilty for anyone. John volunteered for you, and I would do anything for you."

The next morning, Elly was awakened by the scorching sun coming through the window. She reached over her eyes and sat up slowly, her eyes dizzy and her headache severe. The blanket pulled back, and she turned and watched Alex sleep with his mouth open.

Hallelujah! The hand was faster than the brain, and she slapped him and slapped him in the face.

Alex was blown out of his eyes by earrings, tinnitus, and fireflies for no reason. When he was disturbed in the morning, he was in a bad temper. He opened his eyes unpleasantly and ferocious anger directed at her and asked anxiously. "What happened? What happened this morning?"

"To you. Brother." Elly pointed to his face and could not speak.

He grabbed her fingers and put himself on her, a hoarse voice in his throat. "Huh?"

"Why would I sleep with you? That's not true! Why am I at your house?" Elly was startled at close range. She pushed his shoulder away and showed her strength to go out, but he loosened her finger and lost her support point. She turned a circle and rolled all the way to the floor.

Her eyes were knocked out when her head hit the trunk on the wooden floor. Sitting up with her backhand, her brain is in a mess. She doesn't remember what happened last night. She only remembers drinking.

Her shouting made Alex's eardrum ache and his eyebrows wrinkled and frowned. He stretched out to the side of the bed, pressing his chin as if he liked to look at her eyebrows. "You asked me to pick me up last night. It was so loud. Did you turn around and forget?"

"Did I call you? How could that be? I obviously called a taxi driver I remember." Elly doesn't believe him.

Alex knew she would deny it, and his voice was powerless when he threw his bedside phone at her. "Elly, check the phone records."

The name "Taxi" was written in the call log at the front of the recently dialed list, and she looked through the phone book in bewilderment and found that she had placed the phone number of the taxi driver Alex directly above his number. No wonder she dialed the wrong number last night.

Elly looked up, looked at her chin still looking at him on the bed, and apologized clumsily to him. "Sorry, I drank too much and dialed the wrong number. I didn't mean to disturb you."

"Is that what you're talking about?" Alex sat up and put his hair in the back of the finger cage, leaving all the handsome faces coldly with some hooligans. "Thank you or apologize, never tell me."

She didn't know what to say. She was so shy and hesitant that she slowly told the news. "Well, I got a job."

Speaking of work, there was a flurry of light in her eyes, and she asked him nervously. "What time is it?"

"It's already 8: 00. Why?"

Elly was like a cat being trampled after, hurrying to the bathroom, no stranger to this room. Two minutes later, her head popped out and she didn't know what to do. "Where are my clothes yesterday? Did Mrs. Linda help me?"

Bang! Alex got up now and went to the door and went back to his room.

"Can you give me my clothes back? I can't go out in my pajamas."

Alex called the staff and immediately prepared new clothes for Elly.

"Put on this dress and don't wear clothes on your first day at work. The suit you wore yesterday was thrown away."

She hesitated for a moment and finally laughed. "Thank you very much."

When the two went down to the living room, five minutes later, Elly was beautiful and elegant on expensive overalls, and she begged him with a mournful expression." You drive me to the office. I'm going to be late for the bus."

Alex was driving fast on the road, but she was five minutes late.

When she ran into Jacob's office, she was almost out of breath and her boss was surprised. "Aren't you sick? Why are you still working hard?"

"Yeah?" Elly was stupefied for two seconds, then quickly reacted and guessed that Linda had asked for leave. She immediately pretended to be weak but said enthusiastically. "It doesn't matter. I don't want to delay my work."

Jacob was impressed and satisfied with her persistence, enthusiasm, and responsibility for such work. He pressed the phone and asked Linda to bring someone to the office to familiarize herself with the work.

Walking out of the boss's room, Elly hurriedly pulled Linda aside and asked. "What happened last night? Why did you let Alex take me away? What if I was kidnapped?"

"Don't you remember anything? You called him to pick him up. You volunteered to let him kidnap you." When it comes to this, Linda gives full play to the work attributes of a media worker. "He explained what was the relationship between the two? You lied to me without a boyfriend, didn't you?"

"Well, it doesn't work for me to lie. I don't have a boyfriend."

In the face of Elly's calm eyes, Linda was full of doubts. "But last night, apparently Alex Hargreaves said he was your boyfriend."

"What?" Elly covered her mouth after shouting because her voice was too loud. She didn't expect Alex to tell outsiders about it, and she quickly denied it. "But it's not what you think. I have nothing to do with him. We aren't dating."

"But how he carefully held you in the car, with only your picture in his eyes, I don't think it's right if it doesn't matter."

"Well, don't be paranoid, it's just your imagination, take me to my desk and go back to your work."

Apart from being mundane in her mouth, Elly could not deceive herself, at least when she heard Alex says that he was her boyfriend, her heart was filled with joy and excitement was uncontrollable.

Sitting on the deck outside, Elly's summer head was at Alex, so she didn't notice the movement around her.

As an employee on her first day at work, Elly didn't know many people, so she inadvertently offended a bad character because she didn't stand up and say hello.

"Where did you get this? How arrogant! It was rude to see me without saying hello."

Elly kept a standard polite smile on her lips and did not frown on her eyebrows, she said calmly, "I'm sorry. Who are you?"

"You don't know me?" The other side was a tall and charming girl, a nervous scarf full of energy, said angrily to the assistant next to her. "Tell her who I am".

Raise your ears and listen. "This is actress Katriel, the number one star of the company. When you see her in the future, you should respectfully say hello to her, do you hear?" The assistant pushed the sunglasses on the bridge of his nose and pointed to Elly and gave her orders.

She doesn't like an arrogant attitude, nor does she like old ghosts bullying new assistants and refusing them ruthlessly. "I'm sorry, I can't."

"Rude! Dare you say so?"

Katriel stared at the heavy makeup, looked at the clerk in disgust, and dared to refuse her request, and asked sharply. "Dare you to challenge me? I don't think you want to go to work anymore, do you?"

Elly did not panic at all, and her voice was very calm. "I am Boss Jacob's secretary, not yours. Even if you are the number one actress in the company, it's none of my business."

Hearing the noise outside the office, Jacob Barracks pushed the door open and suddenly felt a headache when he saw Elly and Katriel arguing.

"Ma'am, why do you always cause trouble for my secretary? I've changed three signatures for you, and if you let them go, I'll have help."

Jacob could not help pleading, approached the blue shoulder under the hug, and motioned to Elly to let her leave first.

Watching Elly leave, Katriel felt that her heart was filled with unpleasant anger and could not be appeased. She serves with Jacob. "Captain, I didn't mean to disturb her, but she didn't respect me."

"There is no need to judge who is right and who is wrong." Jacob reluctantly persuaded Katriel, "OK, she is wrong, but she is a newcomer, does not know the rules. I will let others teach her slowly. Stop being angry, be good!"

At the same time, Elly was pulled aside by Linda, scolding, and worried. "Why did you fight with her? Just nod and listen to her, and things will go smoothly. What's the use of fighting?"

"I'm just telling the truth."

"Everyone knows it's true." Linda sighed secretly. "You insulted the most troublesome person in the company. I don't think you can use two tragic words to describe your future life in the company."
