A few months later

Author's pov

" God, please reunite me with my parents. With my mother. I can't live with that monster. His face, his voice everything about him is just too much disturbing for me. I don't want to be with him. Please, God," Orni prayed mentally while joining her hands.

She was standing on the terrace and praying to soothe her mind. She was tired of roaming in the same house with VR, breathing in the same air as him. His presence was making her sick so she decided to spend some time on the terrace.

It's been months since VR kidnapped her and imprisoned her on this island. Shivansh was right that VR is no fool. Since this island is on someone else's name Shivansh couldn't have permission to check it though he was suspicious about this place. The authority didn't permit him to check since it's a private property.

Orni was fed up living here like a prisoner. Every single day VR would beg her to forgive and accept him back but Orni never uttered a single word to him. She always ignores him like he doesn't even exist. Orni doesn't let her kids be close with VR. They want to be with him because VR has convinced them already that he is their father.

" I will go mad if continue living here with that disgusting person. Please, God. Send my brother here to save me," Orni whispered letting out a deep breath.

She isn't scared of VR anymore but there is no way she can trust him again. She was falling into depression by the situation she was in.

Orni's eyes shot open feeling a pair of strong & rough hands circling her petite waist. She felt some callous finger removing her hair from her back and hot breath fanning on her skin. The strong masculine scent was for Orni to understand who the person was. Disgust crawled upon her skin feeling his lips brushing on her neck. She tried to wriggle but his strong arms subdued her all struggle.

" Angel, talk to me, please. Say every kind of hateful word to me but please talk to me," VR requested helplessly but in response Orni was silent.

Then, he said sounding miserable," Baby, do whatever you want to do to me. Inflict every single pain that I inflicted on you. Beat me, burn me, starve me. I will accept any kind of punishment. But, please don't give me your silent treatment."

Letting out some frustrating gasps Orni tried to free herself but VR tightened his hold around her soft body.

" I love you, Angel. Just tell me what I should do to earn your forgiveness. Just tell me once what I should do so that you can accept me back," VR said kissing her neck softly.

Orni continued struggling in his arms because his lips felt like leeches crawling on her skin. His words meant nothing to her. She knows his true colour.

" I won't justify what I did but I swear I am a changed person now. I realized your worth after losing you. I learned how much important you are in my life and how much I love you. Angel, talk to me," VR again requested but Orni was done with his daily drama.

With all the strength she had she removed his hands around her body and pushed him hard. VR couldn't balance his body with that push and fell to the ground.

A painful scream left his mouth feeling a sharp pain in his back. His hand went behind and when he brought it in front of his eyes they are flooded with blood. VR fell on a sharp object that pierced through his skin.

Orni saw him groaning in pain but didn't feel anything. She didn't feel the necessity to help him. She just stared at him with emotionless eyes. Her untroubled behaviour astonished VR as well as hurt him. He wondered when she became that heartless.

VR's pov

" How did you hurt yourself, Daddy?" Roman asked touching the bandage on my back.

I didn't reply to him. I just remained silent thinking about Orni's expressionless cold eyes. Today I realised how much she hates me. Why won't she? After all, I behaved like a barbarian to her. No matter how much she hates me I will go any length to gain her trust back.

" Daddy, is it hurting?" Rion asked sounding sad while trailing his tiny fingers on my back.

I answered chuckling," It is. But, it won't hurt anymore if you guys give me kisses."

Giggling cutely they hugged my neck and kissed my cheeks. I can't explain the happpines in words when they call me Daddy and kisses me. I just wish my daughter was with me. I miss Neela a lot. I know Shivansh & Niyati are taking proper care of her but I can't stop worrying about Neela. I am not her biological father but I loved her like my own child. No matter what she will remain my daughter always. Once I recover I will go to see Neela.

" How many times I told you guys to not leave my room, huh?" Hearing Orni's angry voice I was startled.

She entered my room like a tornado and rushed to the kids. Without giving a single glance at me she held Roman & Rion's hands tightly.

" Next time if I find you guys with this man than........." She scolded them pointing her finger at me.

Out of fear they immediately went into her hold. Picking them up she forwarded her legs to leave.

" Can't we stay here for sometime? He is hurt," Roman asked but looking at her furious eyes they lowered their eyes.

Looking at their sad eyes I requested," Angel, let them be with me for sometime."

As expected she didn't listen to me. She doesn't want me to be with them.

" Orni," I said loudly and this time she halted.

I never called her by her name. I always call her Angel or baby. She was surprised to hear her name from my mouth. Maybe that's why she halted. She whispered something in the kids ears and they left my room instantly. When they left she turned her head behind and looked at me with questioning eyes.

" Angel, please try to understand. I admit that I hurt you but I didn't want to.........."

Taking a few breathing I continued saying," I just wanted to have a happy married life with you. If you remember I didn't hurt you after our marriage until you decided to leave me. Even after my misconception about Choti ma I didn't want to hurt you but I lost my sanity and patience when you decided to escape me. I know that I was at fault for everything but I was always brainwashed about choti ma that messed up everything."

" Angel, I swear I truly regret what I did. After losing you, I realised what I lost. Try to understand, please," I literally begged but she didn't seem affected by my words.

I promised her genuinely," Just give me one last chance. I swear I will bring every happiness to you. Please, Angel."

She heard me silently but didn't say anything. Suddenly, she started laughing like I have said some kind of joke. I know it's hard for her to believe me but I swear those words I told and the feelings I had for her are genuine.

A few moments later she stopped laughing and the next thing she did was unexpected. My eyes widened in pure shock seeing her removing her clothes. I wasn't understanding what's she up to.

" Angel, what are you doing?" I asked shockingly when she turned her back towards me.

I closed my eyes looking at the scars on her back. Those were whip slashes. I do remember them. Then, she showed me some scars on her chest and I swear I was feeling like killing myself after seeing them. All the time when she was showing me all these her face was expressionless but I could feel the pain in her eyes. Then, she put on her clothes hurriedly while I continued looking at the floor with guilty eyes.

" You kinda forgot about all these so I decided to remind you," She said fuming with rage and then left me with my guilt.
