Sanjay asked making Orni paralyzed for a few moments," Do you want to meet your ma(mother)?"

" Ma is here?" Orni questioned back shockingly.

Before Sanjay could say anything further Srilekha's voice reached Orni's ear," Orni, my daughter."

Orni looked behind Sanjay and found a middle-aged woman standing there with teary eyes. Orni looked carefully at the woman and even forgot to breathe for a few seconds. The woman was looking so similar to her. The same eyes, same lips, same nose.........it didn't take a lot of effort for Orni to understand that this woman is her mother. She was overjoyed to see her mother for the first time.

" Ma," Orni let out with an inaudible voice.

Srilekha ran towards Orni and then pulled her into a tight hug. Hugging her back, Orni burst into hysterical sobbing. They both cried in each other's arms. Breaking the hug Srilekha cupped Orni's face affectionately. Caressing her cheeks she wiped away Orni's tears and kissed her forehead.

" Mera baccha(my dear)," Srilekha whispered looking into Orni's eyes.

Wiping away Srilekha's tears, Orni replied laughing nervously," Ma, I always wondered how you look. I have to admit that you are so pretty."

" Call me Ma again," Srilekha demanded with her trembling voice.

Orni whispered," Ma."

Pulling her into another hug, Srilekha started saying," I am so sorry, sweety. I couldn't protect you from that monster. I failed you as a mother."

" Where have you been Ma?" Orni questioned but Srilekha couldn't answer.

Lowering her head she started crying that hurt Orni a lot. But, she wasn't understanding why her mother was crying? She doesn't know what Indrajit Randhawa has done to her mother.

" I am sorry, baby. Ma left you alone. I am so sorry," Srilekha apologised.

Holding Srilekha's hands, Sanjay told Orni," You guys have met each other just now. Let's not talk about the past."

" When the right time will come, I will tell you everything," Srilekha told Orni and she nodded her head.

Srilekha again pulled Orni into a tight hug and felt peace. She couldn't believe she was hugging her daughter after a long time. She was feeling like she has gotten the moon from the sky.

" Mumma, who is she?" Roman and Rion asked Orni pointing their fingers at Srilekha.

Srilekha replied pulling their cheeks," Your grandma."

" Oh, but how? Your hair isn't white," Rion said making everyone chuckle.

Orni was busy talking to Srilekha when Sanjay's eyes fell on Shivansh. He was standing a few distances away with Niyati and Neela. He understood that there might be something going on between Shivansh & Niyati. That's why both of them were looking hurt.

" Indeed you are Satya Sir's son," Sanjay said grabbing Shivansh's attention.

Shivansh asked confusingly," You know my father?"

" Yes," Sanjay answered shortly taking a deep breath.

Before Sanjay could say anything further, Orni ran towards Shivansh and hugged him tightly. He also hugged her back having an affectionate smile.

" You brought my father here. Thank you so much, bhaiya," Orni thanked Shivansh.

Shivansh answered patting her head gently," I am glad that you are now in safe hands. I promised that I will protect you always. I kept my promise."

VR was sitting inside the jail and thinking about Orni and the children. He was becoming desperate to meet Orni. He was becoming desperate to ask forgiveness from her, hug her, and feel her in his embrace. He was becoming desperate to hug his kids and tell them that he is their father. Unknowingly, his eyes started getting moistened.

" Orni, my Angel. I wish you could at least hear me out," VR whispered pulling his hair behind.

He was engrossed in Orni's thoughts when a constable started opening the door. VR looked at the constable with questioning eyes.

" A lady is here to meet you," The constable said and dragged VR to a meeting room.

VR thought that it might be Niyati but to his utter surprise, it was Srilekha. He couldn't believe his eyes after seeing her. For a few seconds, he thought he was dreaming.

" Choti ma," VR whispered but the next moment his face turned in another direction.

He closed his eyes because Srilekha just slapped him with her slippers. VR couldn't meet her eyes because he realised that Srilekha might have come to know about his misdeeds towards Orni. He was ashamed to meet Srilekha's eyes.

" Call me Choti ma again and I will kill you just like I killed your filthy father," Srilekha screamed at the top of her lungs.

VR apologised," I am sorry."

Grabbing his collar she made him look into her eyes and screamed," Sorry!! After destroying my daughter's life, you are saying sorry!!"

" I was a fool to treat you as my own son. I was a fool to think that you are different from your father. I was a fool to believe in your words. You proved that you are indeed Indrajit's son," Srilekha let out slapping VR repeatedly.

Then, she questioned tightening her hands on his collar," Tell me, bastard, why did you destroy my daughter's life? What was her fault?"

" I misunderstood Choti ma. I misunderstood you. To hurt you, to see tears and pain in your eyes I used Orni. And, I admit that it was my biggest mistake. I was so blinde..............." VR's words were unfinished when Srilekha roared on his face," You hated me then you should have harmed me. Why did you drag my innocent child into this shit? Huh!! You filthy son of a bitch!!"

Before VR could say anything further Srilekha continued yelling," Your bastard father destroyed my life, my dreams, my family and you did the same. You did the same with my daughter. You drugged her, beat her and even raped her. Are you even human? I will never forgive you for whatever you did to my daughter. Never."

" Please, choti ma. Forgive me for once. I love Orni a lot. I admit that I was an animal but trust me, I realised my wrongdoings. Just give me a chance and I will bring all happine.................." VR's face turned in another direction for the second time.

Srilekha questioned in disbelief," Didn't you feel even an ounce of shame before asking for a chance? My daughter freaks out even by the mention of your name and you want me to give you a chance to mend everything?"

" Love!! You loved her!! Whom are you trying to fool, huh? You just used my daughter, you lusted after her. That's it. It wasn't love. I will never let your shadow on my daughter let alone give you a chance. I will pray to God to give you the most horrible punishment," Srilekha said with pure hatred and then left the place leaving behind a guilty VR.

Coming out of the police station Srilekha sighed in relief. She is happy to see VR inside the jail. Finally, her daughter is going to get justice. Srilekha was thinking all this when someone called her. She looked at the phone screen and it was none other than Sanjay.

" Hello," Srilekha said receiving the call.

Sanjay told her," Satya sir wants to meet us."
