Orni & VR reached her father's house and the moment she noticed her father, she ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Breaking the hug Sanjay kissed Orni's forehead and both father & daughter shed happy tears.

" Orni, my child," Sanjay whispered and Orni again hugged him tightly.

Orni said soaking her father's shirt with tears," Papa, I missed you so much."

VR was standing behind them and watching their reunion with boring eyes. He and Sanjay shared a death glare but remained silent. Just to make her happy he came here with her. He didn't want to come and told her to go with the guards since the Police is behind him. But, Orni insisted he come with her.

" You have met your father. So, let's go back," VR said noticing his surroundings suspiciously. His suspicion reached its peak seeing some black cars a little away from Orni's house.

Orni requested innocently," Please, let me stay here for some more time. I am meeting my father after a long time."

" Ummm.....you guys can leave after lunch," Sanjay said stepping forward and Orni gave VR an innocent look.

Looking at her face he couldn't deny it anymore. But, he was getting more suspicious of Sanjay's behaviour. He thought Sanjay will behave rudely with him but he didn't. He was acting very normal which wasn't going very well with VR.

" Let's go," Orni said holding VR's hands and dragging him inside her house.

The moment they entered the house a strong male voice ordered loudly," Hands up, VR."

VR looked around and found that the whole room was surrounded by some armed men. Everyone was pointing their gun at him and everything happened so suddenly that he became bewildered. And, the next moment he was welcomed by another shock when Orni freed his hands and moved away with her father. He looked at her in disbelief and she gave him a disgusted glare.

" Enough of hide and seek, Mr Vijendra Randhawa. Now, hands up," ACP Roy shouted and VR did whatever was ordered.

He wasn't bothered that the police arrested him. He was bothered and astonished that Orni was involved with the police. It didn't take decades for him to understand Orni & her father's involvement with the police. He was just looking at Orni with disbelief.

" You betrayed me!" VR said with astonishment and Orni came forward keeping a neutral expression.

For a few seconds, they continued looking at each other silently. VR opened his mouth to say something when a harsh slap landed on his face. His face turned in another direction and automatically his hands touched the area where she slapped.

" This is for disrespecting my father," Orni said fuming in rage.

VR looked at her when another slap was printed on his face and she yelled," This is for marrying me forcefully."

" This is for torturing me," Orni screamed at the top of her lungs slapping his face repeatedly.

Sanjay held her tightly and pulled her backwards when she screamed," I hate you. Do you hear me? I hate you."

" All the time you were just acting, hmm?" VR asked with an unusual cold tone which Orni ignored since she was angry beyond level. She doesn't know what kind of monster she has woken.

Orni screamed wriggling in her father's hold," Yes. I was acting because you didn't value my love when I was genuinely in love with you. Now, I just hate you. I am disgusted by you. No..no...not you.. I am disgusted by myself that I fell in love with someone like you. A monster! You know what you are a son of bitch!!"

This was the last trigger she pulled and VR's eyes started getting dark. He was devastated by her betrayal but when she abused his dead mother verbally, he lost it. The fire of revenge that he was trying to demolish just blazed inside him again. He didn't say anything to her right now because he was saving his energy for later!

" You are no better than your father. I really despise your mother because she failed to raise you properly," Sanjay humiliated VR's mother and again he didn't say anything.

Grabbing VR's collar ACP Roy whispered in his ear," Because of you my nephew is still lying in the hospital bed! My sister is shedding tears every day because of you. Motherfucker, trust me. I have arranged a lot of special things for you in jail. I promise that this time your asshole father won't be able to save you."

" 24 hours," VR replied giving a challenging look to ACP Roy.

ACP Roy looked puzzled hearing him when VR whispered confidently," 24 hours and you are going to lose your job. You will surrender yourself to the govt. in case of corruption. Trust me, I will enjoy your destruction holding a cup of tea in my hand."

Before ACP Roy could react, VR diverted his gaze at Orni & her father. He gave her a threatening look but Orni wasn't scared this time. She glared at him fiercely.

" I will remember your betrayal always," He said and immediately closed his eyes because she just spat on his face. With the back of his hand, he wiped her spit away giving her an amusing look.

Shifting her gaze at ACP Roy, Orni said loudly," Uncle, please take this criminal away from my eyesight. His presence is making me sick."

After that, the police dragged him outside and Orni burst into tears hugging her father. Closing her eyes she felt peace and safe in her father's embrace. Sanjay also took a relaxed breath unknown of the fact that this breath is going to be short-lived.

" You are accused of murdering, kidnapping, drug dealing, extortion and many more crimes," ACP Roy said sitting in front of VR who was absent-minded to ACP Roy's words.

His untroubled behaviour was irritating ACP Roy, so he punched VR right across his face and grabbed his collar.

" Bastard! Confess that you were the one who kidnapped Rohan and almost burnt him alive," ACP Roy shouted furiously.

Looking into ACP Roy's eyes, VR smirked and started counting," 1, 2........

Before he could say three ACP Roy's phone started ringing. Glaring at VR he picked up the call and the next moment he started sweating. He clutched the phone tightly and VR's laughing started echoing through the whole room.

Cutting the call ACP Roy grabbed VR's collar and shouted in his face," Bastard! You kidnapped my wife and father!"

" Shh! Shh...lower your voice. What did you think I am a fool, hmm? I knew that you were after me like a mad dog and anytime I can be arrested. That's why I was prepared. I ordered my men to abduct your family when you will arrest me," VR answered having a victorious smile and ACP Roy lost it.

He was going to punch VR when VR threatened seriously," Let me go otherwise you will lose everything. Think about your wife who is pregnant. If you don't listen to me then anything can happen to your wife and ill father."

" I don't fear a petty gang leader like you. I will find out my wife and father anyhow," ACP Roy declared confidently and stormed outside.

Letting out a humorous chuckle VR mumbled," Why don't they take my warning seriously? Fools!!"

The next day

Orni was in the kitchen and preparing breakfast. She was looking happy and relaxed after a long time. Finally, she is free. There will be no one to tell her what she should do and what she shouldn't do. She was delighted that eventually she got rid of VR.

Sanjay yelled from the living room," Orni, are you done?"

" 10 more minutes, Papa," Orni replied loudly and Sanjay continued watching tv.

Sanjay was changing the channels when a news caught his attention. His eyes widened seeing ACP Roy handcuffed. His whole facial expression was blank but his eyes were reflecting too much agony. Reporters were asking him numerous questions but he didn't answer any of them.

Just after a few seconds, the DGP of police came outside and the reporters surrounded him like bugs. Questions after questions were boomed on him about ACP Roy.

" Sir, is it true that ACP Roy is a corrupted officer?" One of the reporters asked the DGP.

Another one asked," We heard that ACP Roy was one of the highest rank holders in the whole police department. How can he be a corrupted officer? Is there any possibility that someone is framing him?"

" ACP Roy has betrayed his own department. We have prominent proof against him though we are still investigating. So, it's very early to see if someone is framing him or not," The DGP answered where ACP Roy closed his eyes.

Then, another reporter asked," So, what will be ACP Roy's punishment if he is proven guilty?"

" Temporarily we have dismissed him from all duties. If he is proven guilty then the punishment will be severe. No more questions, please. Thank you," Saying that the DGP forwarded his legs towards the car where the reporters ran behind him like a swarm of bees.

Switching off the tv Sanjay kept sitting like a statue for some time. He was speechless after seeing the news. He has already understood that VR is behind ACP Roy's destruction.

" Papa, breakfast is ready," Orni said coming into the living room and found him sitting like a mute.

She again called him when he didn't respond. He was looking like he has seen a ghost.

" Papa, are you ok? I just finished preparing breakfast," Orni said shaking her father's shoulder slightly and Sanjay gasped at the sudden touch.

Looking at her with a blank expression he ordered," Orni, pack your stuff right now."

" I have to meet Satya Raichand. Only he can protect Orni right now," Sanjay mumbled with an inaudible voice.

Orni was confused by her father's words. She kept staring at her father confusingly. She wondered what happened to him suddenly that he is behaving like that.

" Why are you still staring at me? Go now. Pack your necessary stuff and get ready,"

Orni didn't argue with her father anymore. She obliged his words though she was still confused and curious to know what happened to him suddenly.

Hours passed and Orni & her father are now on a bus. They are going somewhere and Orni is still clueless about where her father is taking her. She has asked him multiple times about where they are going but her father didn't respond.

Keeping her head on Sanjay's shoulder Orni was sleeping peacefully. Sanjay circled his hand around her body protectively and she snuggled into his chest.

Suddenly, the bus took a turn very hard and Orni woke up from her sleep. The bus stopped and everyone started cursing the bus driver for driving recklessly. Orni & Sanjay looked frontwards but didn't understand what was happening.

A few minutes later two goon type people entered the bus and everyone shut their mouths. Seeing the goons Orni clutched her father's shirt tightly due to fear. The goons started scanning every passenger like they were searching for someone particular.

Orni & Sanjay noticed them whispering in each other's ears. After that, they called someone and the next moment VR entered the bus having his signature smirk on the corner of his lips. Orni almost peed seeing VR standing right in front of her.

" Uhh! There you are, Angel. Trying to sneak out! Tsk...tsk....tsk....bad move," VR said sarcastically the moment his eyes fell on her trembling figure and met her terrified eyes
