Sanjay was watering the plants when a panicked Orni entered the garden hurriedly. Her eyes were teary, her face was pale and her body was trembling due to fear. Her heart was hammering inside her chest like it will explode any time soon.

Sanjay noticed Orni and asked shockingly," Sweety, what happened? Why are you looking like you have seen a ghost?"

Orni hugged her father and then started touching his whole face. She was checking her father was fine or not. The moment VR told her that he has killed her father, Orni just lost her sanity.

" Papa, are you ok? Nothing happened to you, right? You are absolutely fine, isn't it papa?" Orni asked touching her father's face for assurance.

Sanjay was surprised by her actions and asked cupping her face in his palms," I am fine, baccha(kiddo). Why are you asking like that? What happened?"

" I thought he killed you," Orni whispered and burst into tears.

Sanjay frowned his brows and asked softly," Calm down sweety. Whom are you talking about? Who will kill me?"

" No one, Papa. I won't let anyone harm you. I will be an orphan if anything happens to you," Orni murmured under her breath and hugged her father.

Orni was crying continuously and Sanjay was trying to console her and asking about the matter. But, apart from crying Orni wasn't being able to utter any words. She was wetting his shirt with her tears.

Sanjay asked stroking Orni's hair," Baccha(kiddo), tell your papa what happened?"

" Papa, he threa.............." Orni couldn't complete her sentence when she got a text. She immediately lost the courage which she gathered right now to tell her father about the truth. She knew who was it.

She opened the text and it was written in the Italic form

Orni lost all colours from her face and zipped her mouth. Sanjay was questioning her continuously but she didn't say anything. She was just shedding her tears and hiccupping.

" By crying so much you want your father to doubt you? Hmm! You want to lose him very early, aren't you babe?"

Orni got another text and stopped crying immediately. Wiping away her tears she tried to make a normal face but failed miserably. Fear was clearly written all over her face and it wasn't unnoticed by Sanjay.

" What's the matter, Orni? If you don't share your problems with me then how I am going to help you," Sanjay questioned holding Orni's shoulder who was still scared.

Orni mumbled looking down," Nothing, Papa. I can't risk your life."

Saying that she ran inside her room and then entered the washroom. Reaching there she fell on the floor and started crying nonstop.

She recalled that horrible memory where VR killed that man and pulled out his tongue with his bare hands. Orni was traumatised by this incident because she never saw this type of brutality before.

" He is a murderer!!!" Orni mumbled and started rubbing her face and body with disgust. She was feeling disgusted remembering VR's touch all over her body. She can't believe she fell in love with a criminal whose hands are tainted by many people's blood.

Orni remembered VR's over-possessive behaviours and those abuses that she endured in the name of love. This time she understood the reason behind his abusive and cruel nature.

She recalled those news about the Viper gang and started sweating. The members of the Viper gang are the most wanted criminals. They do all kinds of criminal activities including human trafficking. Orni still remembers that news where the members of the Viper gang killed 6 girls because they tried to run away from prostitution.

Orni whispered placing one hand over her lips," If he can threaten me using my father then he can do anything. What I have done? I loved a criminal!!"

The possessiveness she has seen in VR's eyes were scaring her now. She understood that if she tells him about the break up then he will surely do something horrible to her father. She realized that she is now trapped with VR.

" Hey Lord, what I should do now?" Orni asked crying bitterly.

Orni was still shedding tears when her phone started ringing. It was a video call from VR. Noticing VR's name she didn't receive the call and started trembling automatically recalling that murder scenario.

Angel, receive the call like a good girl otherwise I will shoot your Papa right in front of your eyes.

VR texted Orni and she didn't waste another second. She received the call and looked at VR with scared eyes. Her hands were shaking badly and she wasn't being able to hold the phone properly.

VR told her affectionately," Baby, hold the phone properly."

" Why.......did.....you.....call.....me?" Orni asked with her trembling voice and VR just chuckled.

He answered," You might be scared after seeing that murder. Angel, I am a gang leader and it's normal for me to kill a few people daily. It's a part of my illegal business. Since you love me then you should accept me just the way I am. I might be a criminal for the rest of the world but for you, I am only your Vijendra."

He said all these so casually like it's ok to kill people. Orni was more shocked by his statement and she realized that with him she will have a dark future and sorrows only. Nothing else.

" Listen Vijendra, you will get thousands of beautiful girls just by one snap of your fingers. Please, let me go. I don't want to be with you. Let's break up," Orni said and regretted the instant for talking about break up.

Clenching his jaw VR growled," You liar!! You promised me that you will never leave me. Then, how can you even think about breaking up? If you try to leave me then I will kill your father and cut him into pieces. Say that you love me. Say it."

Orni nodded her head in the negative when VR roared angrily," Say it or you want me to put your papa into an acid tank."

" I love you," Orni said hurriedly.

VR again growled," Repeat it."

" I love you," Orni repeated and VR smiled.

He ordered giving her a threatening look," Now, continue saying it. Say it 50 times more."

" No," Orni refused but one threatening look from VR was enough for her to obey him. While saying 'I love you' Orni was looking down and shedding tears.

When Orni finished saying 'I love you' 50 times, VR ordered her," Now, open your clothes. I want to see you."

Orni looked at him with disbelief. How can he order her to get naked right now? Isn't he noticing her emotional state? His words just hurt Orni more.

" Don't tell me to get naked now. Please, Vijendra," Orni requested but VR wasn't in the mood to hear anything.

He said gritting his teeth," Are you going to get naked or do you want me to come to your house and do it myself?"

" No, I will do it," Orni answered crying and settled the phone on the corner of the bathtub. She started removing her clothes looking down and fat drops of tears were escaping her eyes nonstop.

When Orni got naked completely, VR ordered glaring at her body with pure lust," Now, touch yourself. Touch yourself thinking that I am touching you."

Orni nodded her head in the negative when VR threatened showing his gun to her," I have still 3 bullets left in this gun. I was thinking to shove them inside your father's head."

" Don't hurt my father, please. I will do whatever you say," Orni pleaded and started touching her body reluctantly.

" Muffin, what I should do now? I don't want to be with a criminal," Orni asked the puppy and it barked softly like it was responding to her.

Muffin licked away her tears and Orni said with her overwhelmed voice," Muffin, I am not understanding anything. I don't think I will be able to accept him after knowing his reality. Moreover, I am tired of his madness and over-possessive behaviours."

After two days

Orni was sitting in the canteen alone and playing with her food. She was looking down and tears were gathering around her eyes. She wasn't eating anything since she has lost her appetite.

For the past two days, she wasn't eating properly nor sleeping. Her father was continuously asking her what happened but due to VR's threat, she didn't open her mouth.

Orni tried to ignore VR and talk about break up, as punishment yesterday he spanked her ass mercilessly. He assaulted her so brutally that her body was still carrying bruises.

" Orni," Her trail of thoughts were cut by a boyish voice.

Orni looked beside and found that it was Rohan. He sat beside her with his lunch and gave her a warm smile.

Orni didn't react when Rohan asked her curiously," What happened to you, Orni? I have been noticing you recently. You don't dance, don't talk that much and you are not giving concentration on your studies as well. What's wrong?"

" Nothing," Orni answered shortly.

Orni got startled when Rohan placed his hand over hers and assured her," I am still your friend, Orni. We might not get into a relationship but still, I consider you as my friend. You can share your problems with me."

This time Orni looked into Rohan's eyes and found genuine concern. She was feeling lonely when Natasha left the school and she was badly in need of a friend. She was depressed and needed someone to understand her pain and hear her unspoken words.

" Rohan, my boyfriend is.............." Orni couldn't complete her sentence and burst into tears.

Giving her a tissue, Rohan asked softly," Yes, your boyfriend? What about him?"

" My boyfriend is a criminal. He kills people and does a lot of horrible crimes. I used to love him because I didn't know his real identity. After knowing that he is a criminal................" Orni couldn't complete her sentence when the school bell rang indicating the leisure period is over now.

Orni looked at Rohan with teary eyes when Rohan told her," Meet me at the nearby cafe sharp 5 p.m. I will listen to everything."

" Ok," Orni answered smiling and Rohan also smiled back.

In the need of a friend, Orni forgot what VR did to Pratik just because she chatted with him.

After some time

Orni came out of the cafe having a sweet smile on her face. She has shared a lot of things with Rohan and he assured her that he will help her. Rohan was too much angry when he came to know about VR's abusive behaviour towards Orni. He promised that he will talk to his uncle Mr Daksh Roy who is an ACP.

VR clearly warned Orni to not share anything about him with others but still, she did. She was becoming desperate to go away from VR and her desperation made her forget about VR's warning. She also forgot what VR did to Pratik.

Orni's smile didn't last long when she noticed VR right in front of her eyes. He was standing very comfortably leaning a little to his car. He gave her a smile but she just paled.

" Who was that boy, angel?" He asked coming forward and she started going backwards.

She started saying with her shaky voice," My.......umm......my.............

Because of fear, she wasn't being able to form any words. She was crying and shivering like a little kitten. Seeing his intimidating aura and dark eyes she started crying.

" Answer me," he shouted and she replied in one go," My classmate."

He asked raising his one brow," Only classmate?"

" And my friend too," She replied hurriedly gulping down her saliva.

Hearing her, he continued looking at her with dark suspicious eyes when she requested crying," I swear I don't have anything with him. He is just my classmate and friend. Nothing else."

" I see. But, you have to prove that he is only your classmate and friend, nothing special," He said caressing her rosy cheeks.

She asked wiping her tears," What do I have to do?"

" Nothing much. You just have to punish him for thinking that he can be your friend. And, you know how to punish," He replied very calmly and she lost all colours from her face. She remembered Pratik's situation and became worried for Rohan's safety.
