Orni and VR reached Indrajit's house where he invited them for dinner. VR didn't want to join but he couldn't deny it because he is still bound to obey Indrajit. Orni also didn't want to come but didn't dare to say no to VR. She doesn't want to go through those tortures again. She is already in emotional distress.

" Don't be nervous. I will be with you always," VR assured Orni who was uncomfortable to go inside. He held her shoulder protectively and she looked at him with soft eyes.

Orni nodded her head in the positive when VR complimented looking at her smilingly," You are looking elegant and beautiful."

A smile formed on her lips and she whispered making him smile," You are looking nice too."

Well, Orni is wearing a black Anarkali suit which was covering her whole body properly. It was VR who suggested she wear proper clothes because he knows very well about his father's perverted eyes. She matched the dress with jhumkas, high heels and looking adorable.

On the other hand, VR was wearing casuals and looking handsome too. Orni has already glanced at him multiple times to see his Godly features. No matter what it is true that she is attracted to his outer look. In her eyes, he is the most handsome man in this whole world after her father.

They entered the house when Indrajit greeted them wholeheartedly," Welcome children."

" Hi, Dad," VR greeted back plainly and Indrajit didn't react because he was busy staring at Orni like a pervert. He was completely awestruck looking at Orni in traditional clothing.

Indrajit thought mentally," Fuck! This girl is sexy in everything."

Orni greeted nervously," Hello, Mr Randhawa. I hope you are well."

" When we meet an elderly person we take blessing by touching his/her feet. Didn't your mother teach you that?" Indrajit asked rudely and Orni's face fell hearing about her mother.

She immediately bent down to take blessing and Indrajit rested his hand over her head. He was amazed at touching her smooth and silky hair. Most importantly, he felt it erotic seeing her kneeling in front of him like a scared kitten.

His hands started to travel down to her shoulder and she became uncomfortable. She made a disturbing face which wasn't unnoticed by VR. Holding her right arm he stood her up hurriedly.

" His blessings aren't going to do any help anyway so no need for a bucket of that," VR whispered but enough loud to reach Indrajit's ears.

Making a pissed off face Indrajit taunted," Without my blessing, you would not be alive till now. Sometimes you forget that I am your father."

" Such an irony!!" VR thought mentally but remained silent taking a deep breath.

VR said forcing a smile," Shall we have our dinner? I am hungry."

" Me too," Indrajit whispered looking at Orni who was in VR's protective embrace.

After that, everyone took their respective sits and maids started serving food. Orni looked here and there in search of VR's stepmother but found no one like that. She doesn't know much about Srilekha and that's why she is curious about her. VR just told her that he has a stepmom and he doesn't like her.

Indrajit said noticing Orni's curious eyes," Are you searching for Srilekha? Vijendra might have already told you about her. Well, she won't join because today she has been fasting for my long life. She loves me a lot."

He just lied to Orni about Srilekha. He has broken a few of Srilekha's bones and the poor woman is now on bed rest. But, according to Indrajit, he did nothing wrong. Just broke a few of her bones. It's not a big deal for him because she will recover anyway.

" If fasting could bring someone's death early then I would be fasting every day for that," VR thought mentally chewing his food aggressively and Orni noticed the uneasiness in him.

Then, Indrajit questioned VR very seriously," So, when are you going to marry? I invited you here to discuss your marriage."

Hearing Indrajit's question, Orni stopped eating and looked at VR with scared eyes. She doesn't want to marry him. Not after his continuous emotional & physical torture and over-possessive behaviour. She knows that she is stuck with VR but doesn't know how to come out of this relationship. She used to dream of having a happy family with him but now she just wants to go far away from him.

" My marriage? Did you take too much alcohol today?" VR asked sarcastically and Indrajit just chuckled.

He answered making a fake emotional voice," Why not, son? I am getting old and at the end of my last days, I want to stay with my son and daughter-in-law. I want my daughter im law to take care of me."

Saying all these he looked at Orni with lustful eyes and VR understood his motive. He understood why his bastard father called him here.

Indrajit is trying to act like an emotional man because he wants Orni for a long time. Once she gets married to VR then he will start his real game. He will manipulate Orni to surrender in front of him. Looking at Orni's innocent eyes, Indrajit is confirmed that she can be manipulated easily.

" She isn't ready for marriage nor I am. She is still a minor and isn't mature enough to handle a whole damn family," VR answered curtly and Orni looked at him widening her eyes. Sometimes she doesn't understand him at all. She feels like he has bipolar issues. Sometimes he would care for her, cherish her, support her and sometimes he would become violent acting like a complete jerk.

Indrajit sighed and said looking at Orni with those same lustful eyes," I want you to marry as soon as possible because beautiful flowers are the one that is plucked early. So, claim what is yours before it's too late."

" I have already started taking proper care of my garden to keep away disturbing insects from my beautiful flower. You don't have to worry," VR answered sarcastically which Indrajit didn't like. He gave VR a challenging look which VR returned gladly. In Orni's case, he won't let Indrajit win in his dirty intentions.

After an awkward dinner, VR and Orni are now ready to leave. As usual, Indrajit tried to talk with Orni but every time VR poked. Indrajit was pissed off by VR's behaviour and thought to irritate Orni a little when she will be alone. The more he looks at her the more his desires fuel up.

Orni and VR will just step out of the house when a maid stopped them," Mam, wait."

Orni looked at the maid curiously as well as VR. Orni wondered why this maid stopped her.

" Srilekha mam told me to give this to you," The maid informed forwarding a gift box towards Orni.

Orni looked at VR and he approved nodding his head because Indrajit was still staring at them. VR knows that it won't be very good for him if he disrespects Srilekha's gift.

Orni accepted the gift when the maid said smiling nervously," Srilekha mam wanted to give this gift to young master's woman."

" Tell her that I thanked her for this gift," VR told the maid with tight lips and started dragging Orni outside before she could show some gratitude for Srilekha.

Getting inside the car, Orni opened the gift box and her eyes widened with surprise. She was amazed by the gift and mentally hugged Srilekha though she never met her.

Well, Srilekha has gifted Orni a beautiful bracelet that is decorated with rare rubies. Orni didn't just like the gift. She loved it.

But, Orni was a little bit confused seeing an ordinary doll inside the box. The doll was quite old and Orni didn't understand why Srilekha gave a doll to her. Picking up the doll she just stared at this for some time and placed it back inside the box.

Leaving aside all curiosity Orni said excitedly taking the bracelet in her hand," She has a good choice. This is so pretty."

A yelp left Orni's mouth, eyes became watery when VR grabbed the bracelet and threw it outside angrily. Orni looked outside through the window with desperate eyes. As the car was moving she couldn't figure out where he threw it. Then, Orni looked at VR with angry questioning eyes and he gave her a cold stare.

" Why did you do that?" Orni asked controlling her anger with great difficulty.

VR answered with pure hatred, "My mom used to tell me to not even accept a glass of water given by that woman. And, here you are who is accepting her gift!! I will buy thousands of expensive bracelets for you. You don't have to cry over that trash."

" Why do you hate her so much?" Orni questioned and wondered why he hate Srilekha so much.

After that, VR took a deep breath and remained silent for a few moments. He doesn't want to remember those past incidents. He looked at Orni and found her questioning eyes on his pissed off face.

VR started saying with his annoyed painful voice," That woman seduced my father and became a thorn in my happy family. I was 13 at that time when Dad married her. My mother loved my Dad with everything but he cheated on her with Srilekha. After suffering from emotional pain for almost one year my mother committed suicide. I was 14 at that time. My mom left me alone to deal with my womanizer father and stepmom whom I hate the most. I couldn't tolerate their closeness and finally separated. I have been living alone since my teenage years and all credit goes to that woman."

Orni was stunned after hearing all this. She noticed his eyes which were full of hatred, pain and suffering. She felt very bad hearing that he has been living alone for all the years. She tried to console him but couldn't find any word to say.

" You always wonder why I am too possessive for you, right? My family situation is responsible for this. I won't be a manwhore like my father and won't let you be like Srilekha. According to me, a person should be loyal to his/her partner always. And, that's what you lack," VR finished his saying and Orni looked at him with questioning eyes because of his last sentence.

She asked sternly," And, you think I am not loyal to you?"

" Your actions say so. You are sometimes attracted to other guys. I haven't forgotten that incident where you flirted like a slut with Pratik," VR answered hurting her more.

Hearing him, she didn't say anything further because she has lost interest to talk to him. She just looked outside and continued shedding tears silently. VR tried to talk to her but she just continued sitting like a mute. He also initiated a little bit of intimacy but Orni behaved like a robot. Getting irritated by her lack of response he threatened her and again assaulted her.

The Next day

Orni is sitting on a bench in a park and waiting for VR. She wanted to walk for some time but VR told her to meet urgently and that's why she is waiting here. She wasn't in the mood to meet him but a few threatening words worked on her.

" Angel," Orni heard VR's voice and looked frontwards. She found him standing right in front of her with a box.

Orni stood up when he placed the box on the bench. He noticed her gloomy face and felt too much bad. He held her shoulder and she looked at him with void eyes.

VR asked softly," What's wrong with you?"

" Nothing," Orni answered shortly.

VR again asked caressing her cheeks gently," Then, why you are behaving so strange? You aren't the Orni I used to know."

" Everything is good. Why did you call me here?" Orni asked meekly and looked down.

Cupping her face in his palms he asked with a desperate voice" Baby, tell me what's bothering you? You used to be a cheerful girl and get excited always while meeting me. You used to smile at me, take care of me and love me crazily. Where did all these go?"

" Then, what do you expect me to do after getting abused by you? Huh!! What do you expect from me after threatening me and scaring me?" Orni burst out like a bomb and VR stumbled back by her outburst.

Tears started flowing from her eyes and she said hiccupping like a little child," Why do you hurt me always? Huh!! Do you know how it felt when you broke my fingers? Do you know how it felt when you burnt my skin? I endured all this but still, you weren't satisfied. You called me with dirty names and shattered my heart. And, what do you think I should do after enduring all this? I loved you to have a happy family not to be beaten by you for every petty mistake. What do you want me to do to prove my loyalty? Huh!!"

Saying all this Orni broke down into hysterical sobbing and VR was speechless. He started feeling guilty looking at her teary eyes and red nose. He also understood that his behaviour has literally burnt her heart.

VR pulled her into a tight hug and she continued sobbing in his embrace. He started stroking her hair gently but couldn't find any words to console her.

"I am a human, Vijendra. I have feelings too. Your behaviour hurt me too much," Orni murmured wetting his shirt with her tears.

For a few minutes, Orni continued crying and VR let her cry. He just kept hugging her tightly in his embrace. Then, he cupped her face and made her look into his eyes.

Wiping her tears he apologized genuinely," I am sorry, angel. Please forgive me."

" Let me go," Orni answered and tried to go away but VR didn't let her.

He said looking at her with pleading eyes," I am sorry, baby. I promise that I won't hurt you again and don't call you with dirty names. It's just I become insecure sometimes and behave like an asshole. Please, don't give me cold shoulder, baby. Your silent treatment is hurting me too much."

Orni was again melted by his words and asked forwarding her hand," Promise that you won't hurt me again?"

" Promise," VR assured placing his huge hand over her tiny hand and then kissing her knuckles.

Orni smiled a little and he kissed her forehead. They both hugged each other and remain silent for some time.

Then, VR broke the silence and told taking the box in his hand," I have a gift for you."

" Gift?" Orni questioned confusingly.

VR replied giving her the box," Open it."

Orni's eyes beamed with happiness and a huge smile formed on her lips after opening the box. She giggled excitedly touching the furry animal inside the box.

Orni asked looking at him with amusing eyes," A puppy?"

" Did you like it?" VR questioned chuckling at her excited face. He felt so good seeing her smiling so brightly after a long time. He wanted to make her smile and after thinking for hours he came up with this idea.

Taking the puppy in her hand, Orni answered kissing its head," It's so cute. I loved it. Thank you so much."

Saying that she hugged him with one hand and he wrapped his hands around her waist. The puppy barked a little and they laughed looking at it. VR kissed Orni's head who was busy petting the puppy.

" What are you going to call it?" VR whispered in her ear.

She answered rubbing the puppy's furry body," Muffin. He is so cute and soft to touch."

" Just like you," VR whispered kissing her neck and she started giggling. Again, she let go of his mistakes paving the way for her destruction.
