It'd been a week since Sky returned, the twins had been angry with her for a few days due to the fact that even they were not aware of her being a witch, she apologized and they'd reconciled.

I'd spent most of my time at school, hanging out with Sky and the twins and preparing for I and Jake's presentation, it was just four days to his presentation and six to mine. I tried as much as possible to still spend sufficient time with my mates, but it was difficult when I was mostly in school and the few times I was home, was shared between my mates and Sky since they seemed unable to coexist in the same atmosphere, they were constantly at each other's throats and it was getting really annoying.

My mates total dislike for Sky was baffling, but then again the feeling was mutual from Sky's end as well, I had explained the situation with them to her and I could see she wasn't happy about it, I didn't know if it was due to the fact that she didn't approve of them or if it had more to do with the fact that she didn't like the effort I was making, either ways I was glad she understood it wasn't her decision to make.

I drove into the garage with a sigh, I had met Dylan again, this time, he left his number, like I would ever call. I had finished up at school early today, it was just 1pm, Sky wasn't home, she hitched a ride with me to the airport this morning, it seems she was expecting the guys back today, I didn't know when she'd return, I also hadn't seen Luca or Claire since that day, I was worried for Luca but relieved at Claire's disappearance.

I asked Talon and he assured me that Luca was fine and just needed space, and also that they weren't together.... thankfully.

Walking into the house, I headed to the kitchen, noticing Cain, Grey, Jake and Kay. Leo had been away on pride business for the past three days, he did say he'd be back in time for my presentation though and hopefully Jake's as well. Cain stood up, giving me a soft smile and tilting his head down in respect, I glared at him,

"so you're still alive... nice." I said sarcastically and he chuckled, he'd been away for pack patrol and we hadn't seen him for some days.

"I see you missed me." he said, Grey chuckled and I glared at them both, before pouring myself a glass of orange juice and taking a sip.

"So, the project is going well?" I asked Cain and he smiled nodding,

"Bane and Mira are overseeing it personally and since it's Jay's company, yeah, it's going really well." He replied and I nodded,

"They said they'd be here in a few days." he informed me and I smiled, I hadn't seen them for a while.

"Next time Cain, at least give me a call so I'd know you're not dead or something, people without mindlinking abilities have to survive around here don't you think?" I said and they all laughed, Cain nodded with a smile,

"Of course, Luna." he replied respectfully and I rolled my eyes,

"You could ask Lon about his whereabouts you know." Grey said mischievously and I laughed,

"I tried, but after I asked twice, the look on his face had me scared for Cain's safety, damn possessive Alphas." I said chuckling, they all laughed.

"I'll go check in with Jay and Lon, Jake, when you're ready for practice, you know where to find me." I said, standing up, finishing my drink and heading out.

I had just walked out the kitchen when a growling Mia stopped me, she sniffed me, looking puzzled and I raised a brow at her weirdness.

"Do I even wanna know what this is about?" I asked hesitantly and she sighed sadly. "I thought I smelled my mate she said and I frowned.

"On me?" I asked and she shrugged,

"The scent trace originated from you but I'm not sure." she said and I pondered puzzled before recalling something, I pulled out my cell phone and handed it to her,

"It's from this isn't it?" I asked and she took it, sniffing, her eyes darkened and she nodded.

"Where is he?, Please tell me you know where he is!" she squealed excitedly and I chuckled, grabbing my phone, I scrolled to his number, before handing it to her.

"His name's Dylan, and that's his contact... something tells me this is the reason he has been pestering me, your scent on me....go get your man hon." I said chuckling and she squealed again, hugging me tightly before running out of the house like a crazy person.

I turned back to look at the guys in the kitchen who had been watching the whole show, we stared quietly at each other for a while,

"I hope she brings back my cellphone in one piece." I said suddenly and we all burst into laughter, Mia was a handful and poor Dylan was in some serious trouble, he'd live though, my cellphone on the other hand had better be intact once she was back.

I shook my head as I continued on my way, getting to Jay's office, I pushed the door open and stepped in. He looked up at me,

"So you finally remembered my existence?" he asked with a cute frown and I chuckled,

"Awww, don't be like that," I said and he shrugged,

"It's true though, come here." he said, and I walked around the desk to him, he pulled me into his lap and wrapped his hands around me tightly, placing a light kiss on my neck. I sighed, leaning into him and relaxing, letting him have his moment, I knew not being able to be around me regularly was hurting him and his lion.

"I don't like her." he said after a while and I sighed, knowing he was referring to Sky.

"I'm not saying she should leave, I'm just saying I don't like her." he explained,

"I know Jay, you and Lon made that fact quite obvious." I said chuckling and he sighed, I turned to face him,

"Why do you dislike Sky?" I asked curiously, he sighed again,

"She....you... never mind love." he said, I stared at him before laying my head on his shoulder, if he didn't want to say, I wouldn't pry, besides some people just naturally didn't get along.

He was quiet for a while before he chuckled softly, I turned to face him again, glaring playfully,

"Are you laughing at me right now Jaylen Alexander Shadow?" I asked in mock annoyance and he laughed, placing a light kiss on my lips.

"you know, it's funny how you're so intelligent and fiesty and yet still so innocent and oblivious to the most obvious things... how could you not see when someone is crazy about you?" He asked puzzled and I frowned,

"You and Lon?" I asked and he chuckled again shaking his head,

"yeah, but baby... we're not the only ones." before I could respond, he joined our lips and kissed me, he nipped my lower lip softly and I granted him the access he sought and he groaned in appreciation, his tongue explored the caverns of my mouth and I moaned softly, it seemed to spur him on as his kiss became more possessive, his tongue wrestling with mine for dominance, I gave in, letting him have control as my lips moved in perfect sync with his and he groaned again, all coherent thoughts left my mind as my body tingled in response to his kiss, alerting me of my growing arousal.

I pulled away when my need for oxygen could no longer be ignored and I lay my head on his chest, breathing deeply and he chuckled, his hands softly rubbing my back, he leaned down whispering,

"Baby I've been craving the feeling of those soft lips on mine again, and damn you taste good, do you feel what you do to me?, but you know what love?... there's a whole lot of other parts of you I'm dying to taste." he said in a low seductive tone, his words and obvious arousal beneath me had me tingling all over,

"damn." was all I could say and he laughed.

~Jaylen's POV~

My queen had fallen asleep on my lap sometime after our episode, I smiled watching her take soft breaths, she was so beautiful, I found it hard controlling myself around her, damn, I had nearly lost it at the feel of her lips on mine, my lips still tingled at the pleasant memory.

I sighed in annoyance as I picked up the witch's scent, she was back. I didn't like having her in my house, everyone could see she had eyes on my queen, expect my queen herself, I didn't even know if she knew her friend was gay, I'd have to remember to ask her later. My Lion and I felt threatened by her presence on our territory, not because she posed a danger to my pride, but because she was interested in my woman, the looks she gave her, the way she held her, she even called her baby for heaven's sake. I growled lowly in possession, my queen was not hers to love and the sooner she understood that, the better it'd be for her.

~Ariana's POV~

I headed to the ground floor after sleepily placing a light kiss on Jay's lips. Jake was ready for practice and Mia wasn't back yet. Once again, I said a silent prayer for the safety of my cellphone.

Getting out of the elevator, I bumped into a shirtless Talon, I lost my balance and he steadied me. Once I was standing properly, my eyes trailed down his well toned and muscular body,  getting to his 8 pack, I unconsciously licked my lips and he groaned,

"Like what you see?" He asked smugly and I nodded, looking up at him.

"remind me when did you say you were gonna fuck me again?, cause damn, you are looking fuck able right now." I replied with a smirk and his eyes darkened instantly as he growled at my words.

Pushing me against the wall, he slammed his lips on mine forcefully and I groaned in response, his hands slid down my back, grabbing my butt suddenly and I gasped, his tongue was in my mouth immediately, and he growled at my taste, his kiss was needy and forceful but still passionate and damn I loved it just as much as Jay's possessive and passionate kiss.

"Interesting." we heard from a voice I recognized as Sky's, Lon pulled away instantly, looking at me in shock, and then he frowned,

"We shouldn't have done that." he said angrily and I raised a brow,

"We?, You kissed me Dude, not the other way around, so don't give me that look, I didn't do shit." I said equally annoyed and he growled, turning around and getting into the elevator.

'What the fuck was that about?', I thought turning to face Sky who was glaring at me, I raised a brow at her and she shoved past me without a word. I sighed in confusion,

"Now what the fuck was that about?" I asked again, this time out loud, I rolled my eyes, deciding to ignore their tantrums, I didn't have time for all this shit right now, I have

a presentation coming up and I have to be ready.
