" Avu... Where are you.. No, I will find you. Nothing will happen to her. I will protect you. " I murmered to myself and continued driving crazily. That's when my phone rang. I quickly connected to my iPod's.

" Hello.. " I immediately answered..

" Tch.. Tch..Tch.. Running to find your love.? Hmm? " Someone from the other side mocked at me.

" Who the hell are you.. Tell me dammit.. " I roared back.

" Hawww... Too bad. Is this the way to talk to elders? Well what can I expect from the ruthless mafia king Rocky. " saying this that man laughed out loudly.

" Bastard.. Who are you and what you want.? " This time asked him dangerously.

" I...? I just need someone's life as an exchange for one life you took. And my work will be done by yourself . And that too now. Look straight rocky.. " He said to me suddenly, there stood my love in front of my car.

" Avneettttttt....... "

I got up with a jerk shouting her name. I was panting heavily and sweat beads already filled my forehead. I was again and again trying to come out of that terrifying dream. I felt someone hugging me tightly and rubbing my back and hairs.

" Shh... Sid bachha.. Calm down. I got you. All are safe. Nothing happened to anyone. Shh.. Calm down. " It's maa. I felt a relief as I heard her voice. I hugged her.

" Nothing.. Okay. Relax.. " Maa said pecking my forehead. I felt relaxed. I looked around and saw di was also there. Both were having worry written on their face.

" Sid.. Got a dream? " maa asked cupping my face caressing it softly with her thumbs.

" Umm.. It's.. I.. Just.. Tch.. Leave it maa. " I replied her looking here and there. That's when I noticed I was in the hospital bed. That too in ICU.

What the hell?

" Where is avneet? " I immediately asked maa getting up from the bed.

" She is there in the next room sleeping. " Di replied immediately.

But I felt a pull on my hand. Now what's this? I looked and saw a drip attached. My fist curled, and jaw clenched.

" Maa.. What is this Shit..? " I asked her pulling the syringe from my hands and throwing it away.

" Sid.. What are you doing? " maa immediately came forward and rubbed my hands.

" Your knuckles wound got septic and you got high fever. So doctor treated you and sedated you, because you won't take rest by yourself na. And this drip was, because you were weak. That's why." Maa explained me and I was just like what nonsense?

" That doctor sedated me? Huh! How dare he? " I groaned looking sideways.

I could hear maa sighing as well as shaking her head in disbelief obviously.. That's when a crack sound caught our attention. The door opened revealing my prey. Wahh! What a timing Doctor.

" Mr. Hooda... You woke up so soon. How is your hand? " That annoying creature asked me in his irritating sound.

" Oh.. Doctor what a pleasant surprise to meet you? And yeah my hands are pretty good. And why are you here now? " I asked him in a sweet tone which alerted both ladies.

I saw them looking at me narrowing their eyes. I smirked at them. Both widened their eyes because they got to know something is going in my mind.

" Doctor I think you should go to Avu's room. You have to check her, right? " oh my poor di... Good try to protect him. But no use.

" No Mrs. Nigam. I just came from her room. And she is sleeping. Everything is fine. If you want you can discharge her today itself. But as it is night, I suggest you to take her tomorrow morning. " Doctor explained and got a relief knowing that she is fine.

" Then why you are here? " Now it was maa. Try.. Try... Go ahead. I mentally laughed at both of them.

" Actually I thought to give one more antibiotic for his wounds, so that it won't get more infected. " Doctor said smiling at my maa.

" But it's not.. " Maa was about to deny, but I cut her off.

" No.. No.. Maa it's necessary. It's about my health. I can't take any chance. Doctor please.. Come. " I said and myself bought the doctor towards the bed.

I sat there and showed my hands for him to take injection. I saw both maa and di nodding their head in no. I grinned at them. I saw him filling the syringe with the liquid from the class tube. I keenly observed what is written above it. 'temporary sedative'.

Oh.. So this creature is gonna sedate me again. I saw him looking back at maa and nodding his head. Maa smiled nervously. Then he turned towards me with his annoying grin.

" So.. Let's take? " He asked me.

" Yeah yeah.. Sure. " I said sweetly.

He rubbed the area of my forearm with alcohol where the shot should be given. He was about to press the syringe, but I in a nike of second twisted his hand towards his back and I holded him circling my hand around his neck. I heard gasps which belonged to none other than the ladies.

" Ahhh.. Mr. Hooda... Pl.. Please le.. Leave me. " that doctor started pleading. Please..? Under my foot. Hrgh..

" Sid.. Leave him. What are you doing? " Maa tried to come near me. But stopped as I glared at her. Thank God.. At least she got scared of that, otherwise she would have embarrassed me in front of this creature.

" How dare you tried to sedate me now?  And in the morning that too without my permission? Do I look like some physo? Huh? " I said to him dangerously making him shiver in fear.

" Mr. Hooda.. Please.. You needed rest.. Tha.. That's why.. Please.. " that man tried to say.

" Whatever.. Now I wish you a best good night.. Sleep well. " saying this I pushed the syringe on his hip. He yelped in pain, but slowly loosed his sense. I pushed him towards the bed.

" Good night.. Sleep well and sweet dreams.. " I said to him smirking and patted his cheeks.

As I turned I saw maa and Di standing there palming their mouth and looking at me with wide eyes. I rolled my eyes.

" What...? This isn't anything new for you both. " I asked them and went out to my love 's room. I saw maa and Di following me, of course she was scolding about me to di.. Poor di.

As I entered I saw dad,jaan and bhai sitting there.

" Sid.. You are up? " Abhi bhai asked me coming towards me. But before I could answer Di came there yelling.

" Yeah, he is up and that damn doctor is down. "

" Shhhhh.... Don't yell. " I said glaring at her pointing towards avneet. She quickly mouthed a 'sorry '.

" So is that doctor alive? " dad asked. Wahh! He knows me well.

" Yes.. In a peaceful sleep. " he chuckled at my answer and maa shook her head in disbelief.

" Like father.. Like son. Never changes. " we heard her mumbling. We all laughed and she made a grumpy face.

I had went near her and we both hugged her from either side kissing her cheek.

" Don't get angry honeyyyy... " we both cooed at her. Yes.. That's how we pacify her. Maa immediately smiled and hugged us both.

" Everyone forgot me.. " we heard di faking her cry.

" Hawww.. My princess.. Come to dad." dad said and pulled her into our group hug. Maa pulled abhi bhai and jaan too. We all had a group hug.

But something is missing... Yes.. Where is faisu..?

" Maa.. Where is faisu? " I asked maa. But she looked at jaan.

" He said he wanted to meet someone, who is your one of the important clients. So went to office. " jaan replied. I nodded at her.

"But which client is he talking about? As much as I remember, there isn't any client who is supposed to meet today.. " I thought.

" May be someone came unexpectedly.. You were dead asleep dude.. " my subconscious mind poked me.

" yeah.. That's true. " I thought.

I went near my love who is sleeping peacefully just like a baby. I caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.

" Bhai, please fill the discharge sheet. We are taking her. " I said to bhai.

" But sid.. It's already 8. Let's take her in the morning na. " he asked.

" No bhai. I'm taking her. I can't see her in this hospital bed. So we are taking her. End of the discussion. "

I said as I covered with a red blanket which I saw on the couch. She looked like a new born baby covered in the blanket. Scooping her in my arms I turned around to go.

" Dad please inform Dr. Keerthi sharma to pay a visit tomorrow morning. " I said to dad and he nodded. Maa,di and jaan followed me.

All staffs and the peoples were looking at us with amused face. But I didn't cared. I took her to the car and carefully layed her in the back seat. Maa kept Avneet's head on her lap as a support while Di took the passenger seat and jaan at the back seat with maa. That's when di got a message.

" Gem.. Abhi is calling you to the reception. They wanted your sign in some paper. " she informed me. And I got out of the car at the same time dad came towards us.

" Dad.. I will be just back. " I said and he nodded.

I went towards the receptionist were I saw bhai and I signed the discharge sheet and we both was about to go. But stopped as one of the receptionist stopped me.

" Yes..? " I asked her.

" Sorry to bother you Mr. Hooda. But did you received the envelope? " she asked me.

" What envelope? " I asked her confused.

" Morning one man came and gave me an envelope for you. But you were admitted, so when I saw Mr. Faisal, I handed him. He didn't gave you? " she explained, and some tension was visible on her face.

" Don't worry. He is out for some work. I will receive it. By the way who gave it? " I asked her.

" I don't know sir. His face was covered in hoodie and didn't even said his name." she said. I nodded at her and went back.

I took the car and drove off to home. My mind was filled with what that receptionist said. Envelope, a hoodie man and faisu's sudden meeting with a client. Something is wrong....

I pulled the break in front of our mansion . I carried avneet carefully to her room. Layed her on the bed and covered her with duvet. I asked Jannat to be with her. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs. I was continuously trying in faisu's phone but it's not reachable. Dammit!

Suddenly I saw a car that stopped in front revealing faisu. I looked at him. He was little messed up. Looks like he had a fight. But no wounds was there. He came in and had an expression of shocked as he didn't expected me here.

" Sid.. You here? " he asked me. No smile, no jokes, nothing. His voice was heavy which indicates something had happened. Without replying him I just asked him directly.

" Where were you..? "

Phewwwww...
