Jenny stared at Arielle as she watched the video and then tossed her phone at the wall.

"Kelvin is such a scatterbrain, I can't believe he posted this crap edit online. I don't even want to think about how Zach is feeling right now, but I guess he does deserve this for the shit he did to me".

"Well, how about a drink to calm down".

Arielle nodded, waving her away dismissively.

Jenny walked to the kitchen, poured the wine into a glass then brought out the recent drug Nicole had given to her, she hesitated for a bit before she poured the whole bottle inside.

Inhaling deeply, she climbed the steps one at a time until she got back to Arielle's room.

"Getting a drink took you that long" she snapped, then snatched the glass from her and drown it all at a go before she tossed the glass at Jenny, who caught it in time before it hit her in the face. "If you were only fast at other things" she tsked, then cursed as her phone rang.

"Can I just spend one day with no stress in my life" she complained to the air, then answered the call. "This better be a matter of life or death". She paused, listening to whatever the person on the other end was saying and a smile touched the corners of her lips. "Good, I hope that teaches him not to mess with me in the next life... No don't bother about it. That's enough for now. Ok... I'll tell my father... I said I've got this," she said, then ended the call.

"Are you alright?" Jenny asked, trying to make sense of the conversation.

"Why the fuck are you still standing there" she shouted, rising to her feet then she stumbled, her face snacking Into the floorboard. Jenny screamed as she rushed toward her.

"Arielle, are you alright".

Arielle groaned as she tried to pull herself up. " I can't see a thing. I'm burning up Jenny, I need water" she screamed, repeating the words over as she crawled toward her cabinet. Her body ceased, then she started shaking and Jenny watched in horror as her eyes rolled back and her body spasmed uncontrollably.

Jenny picked up her bag, her body shaking, then she ran out of the house, got into her car, and drove out of Arielle's apartment without a backward glance.

Jenny knocked sporadically on Nicole's door and once it opened, she rushed inside the house before Nicole could push a word out of her throat.

Nicole frowned, locked the door, and turned to face Jenny.

"What are you doing here? Is Arielle letting you out of her sight now, and why do you look like a ghost fucking chased you all the way here".

Jenny thrust the bottle of medicine into Nicole's face. "What is this? What the hell is this medicine".

Nicole stared at it, then raised an eyebrow. "I don't know what it is. I just got it from a guy and he told me it was good for knocking people out".

"What the hell Nicole!. Why did you give it to me then!".

"Why the hell are you screaming"Nicole yelled at her in exasperation.

"Because Arielle is lying dead in her apartment" she shouted, flinging the bottle against the wall as Nicole blanched, her eyes bulging out of their socket as she stared at Jenny.

"What are you talking about? Arielle can't be dead".

Jenny groaned, her fingers tugging on her hair. "I gave her the drug and then she started convulsing and stuff. I panicked and left her there. I was so confused Nicole, I didn't know what to do so I came right here. I didn't even call the emergency unit... I don't think she's going to make it".

"How's that even possible, a cap of that drug can't possibly get her killed".

Jenny gasped In horror. "You told me to give her the whole freaking bottle".

"When the fuck did I say that, and even if I did, did you have to carry out all my instructions to a T. Oh my god Jenny." She cried, pacing around the room while jenny stared at her almost lifeless.

Nicole paused, her face grim as she stared at jenny. "If Arielle is dead, then it's on you, Jenny. I'm not gonna give up my life just because you were stupid" Nicole shouted and Jenny stared at her, their harsh breath the only sound in the otherwise silent room.

"Are you gonna fucking pin this on me. For the record, I didn't want anything to do with all this".

"But you did it anyway didn't you? You agreed to drug her and you did. You're the one who poisoned her, so you'll be the one to pay for it, not me".

Jenny couldn't believe it. Nicole was turning against her even tho she'd practically followed all her orders.

"This was all your plan, do you think I'm just gonna take the fall for everything? If I get caught, I'm going to spill everything"

"Go ahead and do that Jenny but I'll have you know that it's still going to be you taking the fall for everything. My father will never let me go to jail and I have a lot of money to bribe my way out of this, but you, I don't think your family could even afford a lawyer for you. Your father is filing for bankruptcy isn't he".

"You fucking bitch" Jenny screamed, feeling like the biggest fool on earth. Nicole stepped closer to her.

"Arielle deserved what she got, and with her out of the picture, and Zach breaking up with Vega, well I think it's finally my turn and nothing is going to ruin that, not even you. I admit It was sad when I lost the bet, but with the recent news circulating, I can see some silver lining in my cloud".

"You used me, just like Arielle did to us," Jenny said, her heart breaking as Nicole laughed in her face.

"Well, it's not my fault you're so stupid. Wasn't you who said and I quote. 'we have to stop waiting for someone to give us a chance or an order before we know what to do with ourselves, well I took your words to heart, it's a shame you didn't".

"You're going to pay for this Nicole".

Nicole scoffed. "Get out of my house Jenny. Go turn yourself in, maybe the judge might take pity on you and give you a life sentence since this is sounding to me like second-degree murder, cause it wasn't premeditated or anything. Good luck out there" she said and turned to go to her room.

Jenny shouted, then rushed toward her and shoved her. Nicole lost her balance and crashed into the center table that decorated her living room. The sound of glass shattering rends the air and Jenny heaved as Nicole remained on the floor, her eyes unmoving and wide open as she stared at her.

"You're going to fucking regret betraying. If I'm going down then you're fucking going with me" she shouted at her, then calmed down enough to notice that Nicole wasn't moving. "Nicole? Nicole?" She asked, her voice shaking as she stepped closer to her. Jenny gasped in horror, her hands coming over her mouth to block out her scream.

Nicole was dead. Tears streamed down her face.

"Nicole, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to do this. I was-was jus-just mad that you were trying to make me the only culprit. Please open your eyes ok, we can fix this" she said but Nicole remained unmoving and blood started pooling all around her back.

Jenny mistakingly stepped into it and she stumbled back in shock. They'll definitely sentence her to death for this she thought as she scrambled to her feet.

"I have to get out of here but I can't go empty-handed if not, I'll never get far," she said, rushing up the stair, her shoes leaving a trail of blood everywhere she stepped.

Jenny got to her room, picked up one of her designer's purses, and shoved her pieces of jewelry into it. She almost cried in relief when she opened a drawer and saw two bundles of cash.

Jenny shoved the money into the bag, then entered the bathroom to wash her shoes, her face, and her hand then she spent another thirty minutes cleaning every surface that she'd touched with her bare hand.

After thoroughly making sure that the crime wouldn't be tied to her, she left the house and locked the door, knowing that it would take at least two days before they got suspicious. Nicole rarely went out except for parties.

She trekked far, got into a taxi, and told him to take her to the airport.

Jenny watched the city roll by and she gazed at it, knowing she might never return. It was all Zach's Dante fault. If he hadn't come to their school, then there wouldn't have been a bet that ultimately ruined her friendship with Nicole and Arielle. Now two of her friends were dead and she was a murderer even if she hadn't meant to.

If she ever came back, Zach was gonna pay for ruining their lives.
