Chapter 34: Chapter 34

They spent the night together huddled in the blankets, under each other’s arms. She felt a lot better with Hart soothing her, and this time, she was ready for him to take her. Whatever he had previously with W didn’t matter anymore since now. She had agreed for them to resume their relationship.

She cast aside the random thoughts of Jake and sought to fill her mind with their past encounters together in Bali. Had he never picked her up then, she would have never met such a great guy. She wouldn’t have ever spent the night with Hart or had those thrilling experiences. Hart was someone who bore his way deep inside her heart.

Even if her heart wanted Jake, she had already let Hart inside, and she would only get guiltier if she let him go. She allowed Hart to take off her dress, slipping it slowly over her shoulders, before unclasping her bra.

Her stomach was still rather flat, but she didn’t want to tell him just yet, when she had not figured out the father of her baby. Next, he tugged off her panties, leaving her naked on the bed in the master room of the mansion.

She had missed his touches and having him inside her. He was always so gentle when he caressed her mounds with his hot tongue while wetting her slowly with his smooth fingers.

Even if her heart was numb to him, her body was responding with such sensitivity to him. Myra closed her eyes, seeing her boyfriend naked before her. Then she took a deep breath, and straddling him with her legs, guided him inside her. It hurt from his gigantic size, but she had to do it.

The sex didn’t feel quite the same, but it would have to do. Something was missing in their relationship, which she felt bitter about. Hart slowly increased his intensity, eliciting a moan from her.

“Take me harder, Hart,” she said, opening her eyes weakly.

He seemed appalled by her sudden request, but relented, pounding harder inside her. She moaned louder as he filled her deeper with his length.

“More, Hart.”

She egged him on. Everything was getting much wilder at this point. Normally, she would be sore after a bit of sex, but knowing how things were intensifying, she knew she probably wouldn’t be able to walk properly the next day.

If this was what she wanted, he would give it to her. He studied her aroused face. Even with her eyes closed, she looked divine. She tempted him with her luscious lips, making him lean closer to her, pinning her tightly onto the bed as he devoured her lips.

Now she was under his control. He had probably never seen her so desirous before, that he restrained her more tightly so that he immobilised her under his massive figure. With their skin on each other, she burned with her growing need.

Yes, she had to do this. Only by doing this would she be able to walk out of the obsession for Jake that she discovered to have resurfaced recently. Jake may have had her as his legal wife, but she resolved that her heart and body would remain Hart’s. He couldn’t control her in this aspect. Soon, she would have an agreement drawn up that their marriage was purely political.

If it took all the sex, she could have with Hart to overcome her unhealthy love for Jake, she would do it. She closed her eyes and, feeling him climax inside her, collapsed in a heap on his chest.

But it wasn’t over. The night was still young. Like a monster, Hart’s energy didn’t dwindle, and he took her many more times that night. After going so long without sex, Myra found herself weak after seven times with Hart, but he was as energetic as ever. She ranted under her breath.

“Take me again, Hart. Please don’t stop.”

She was tired, but she knew it was the only way.

…………………………………………………………………

Jake took a step away from the window, his face dark with an indescribable mood. He felt infuriated, insisting that his love rival had cheated by tracking her down with the spy app on her phone. How had he not figured out that she still had the key to the old mansion?

He had gone on a wild goose hunt for her, called her sister Sierra and their friends, even went to the places she often frequented. He hadn’t missed a spot as he memorised each spot clearly in his mind. While he was crazily searching for her, as it was like finding a needle in the haystack, Hatta Baderan had gone to her and played his cards.

He witnessed his rival kneeling before her and begging her. Whatever Myra had with him previously, he couldn’t care anymore. But why, after seeing another girl clinging tightly to his arm, his Myra had still accepted him? He couldn’t take it. Myra was his, not Hatta Baderan’s, and their marriage would prove that!

Jake pranced outside the window, ignoring the showers that ensued. He pulled the black hood was wearing over his head to shelter himself.

Again, he had made another mistake of not having an umbrella ready. The showers continued with a larger downpour, drenching him to the skin. Ugh, just when he was so close to getting to them! He delved into his crossbody bag for the keys, before realising that both sets of keys were with Myra. He had forgotten to reclaim them from her! The mansion’s majestic door was crafted in a way that anyone inside wouldn’t hear. Also, the doorbell had stopped functioning a long time ago.

Hart’s gigantic eyes stared towards him, and he hurriedly disappeared from the man’s view. It wouldn’t do any good for him to know he was here. Common sense told him that Hart would never give in to him or allow him in. Who does that to a rival?

He waited for a few more hours until the rain had stopped, sheltering himself under a tree overlooking one bedroom of the mansion. Suddenly, he heard a loud moan emanating from the bedroom. Stealing a glance towards the uncurtained window, he witnessed the unceremonial sight of two bodies entwined with each other. He didn’t need a second time to recognise the sound of Myra’s voice.

He slumped backwards on the ground, falling onto the wet grass. It had broken him to know that after she had seen Hatta Baderan tangled with another girl; she had still readily accepted him back and let him inside her. Just days ago, he was fortunate that they had not continued the act when she had passed out, but now?

Jake wouldn’t admit defeat. He continued to watch outside the window, pondering his next step. He appeased himself with the fact that he had the benefit of their political marriage, after all. This was what he would exert his claim on her with. Despite how Hatta Baderan was handsome, he couldn’t marry Myra, could he?

It would all play out nicely, he promised himself, but just minutes had passed when the moans got even more intense.

[That was too much!] He almost shouted out loud, but constrained himself from letting out any words. It would probably anger Myra further by him being a peeping tom. Just at that moment of annoyance, his cell phone rang.

Not that ringtone. He had cleverly set a different tone for each caller, and this time, it was Yuna who had called. He didn’t like how this all sounded. Yuna must have a motive for calling. Wasn’t she now working outside the city? What did she want from him this time?

He ignored the call, but she called again and again, leaving him no choice but to answer the call, distracting his thoughts. It was months since he had last heard from her, but it was also part of their arrangement.

She agreed she wouldn’t interfere in his life. He had enforced this on her after his hired private investigator caught her going to secluded spots with her co-actors. With this juicy piece of evidence, the only claim she had over him was the allowance for her son. Once she gave birth, their child would be fully under his care, and she would decide to either stay and visit their child during the weekends, or she could give up all custody and return to Korea, or wherever she wished.

Sure enough, she stopped calling, but this time, it had to be really urgent.

“Hello?” he grudgingly spoke.

Yuna’s voice was tense, and she sounded close to tears.

“Please, Jake. I’m in trouble. Can you come over to my apartment now?”

“Now? I am in the middle of something. Can it wait till the morning?”

“It’s important. It’s about our child. I’m afraid.. something might have happened to him…” her voice trailed off as the call disconnected.

Clenching his fists, Jake thrust off his hood and headed towards his car in anger.
