Chapter 1578: Chapter 1578

Anything else? Tell me more, I like to listen!

The personalities of Grew and Rone are vastly different; the former takes the Insectoid path, while the latter is a paragon of morality. They can’t urinate in the same pot, but their loyalty is unquestionable. Whoever is a devout follower of the Goddess is their dear friend.

With Wayne also being a loyal Death disciple, Grew and Rone never hesitate to offer words of praise. From their standpoint, the traitor Saine, apart from resembling the Goddess, is worthless, and it’s a great injustice for her to be with Wayne.

This is not deserved!

"How about this, I’ll arrange something for you, introduce you to a few Night Gods. They are the temple’s female officials, former Holy Maidens, and all very beautiful." Grew gave Saine no chance, intent on making her life difficult.

He truly, absolutely, hates traitors!

Wayne raised his hand to stroke his chin, pondering for a moment before understanding what Grew was up to. Fresh chapters posted on novel(ꜰ)ire.net

Arranging a matchmaking is out of the question; Grew was targeting Saine, and he himself had no thoughts of matchmaking. It was just a joke to laugh off.

Something must be said at this moment!

"Grew, you underestimate me and Saine. I previously teased Saine as revenge for her traitorous actions, but I have no ulterior thoughts towards her personally."

Wayne, with a serious face, shook his head: "As for Saine, she is not an idiot who uses her looks. I saw her remorse and took care of her on purpose. I also believe that since the Goddess bestowed life upon Saine, she never intended to abandon her. She completed a trial without knowing the truth, which is the Goddess’s exclusive mission for her."

These words fully raised Saine’s affection, her eyes turning red.

When no one else was willing to trust her, Wayne reached out to pull her from the Abyss, leaving an undeniable impression.

Could even eat it now!

Grew furrowed his eyebrows, not being a fool driven by blind faith, he didn’t believe Wayne’s highfalutin reasoning. He bluntly said to Saine: "Just for fun, don’t take it seriously, she’s not good enough for you."

At these words, he received Saine’s murderous glare.

Wayne shrugged, saying nothing.

Death’s plotting naturally succeeded; there are many possibilities: intellectual domination; craving Death’s information despite knowing being used; expected beforehand, tacit mutual benefits; two Goddesses teaming up to put on a show for other Goddesses.

Thinking about this before awakening Death is meaningless. Grew didn’t want to guess rashly, and Wayne didn’t want to waste time, so they directly skipped this topic.

Wayne pointed at the Hades Map, his hand landing on the Eleventh Layer: "The Eternal Hall where the Goddess slumbers is located at the center of The Only Cosmos. These two layers are Xizor’s territory. As the only traitor in Hades, I plan to eliminate him directly. What do you think?"

Grew had no objections; traitors should be executed, unworthy of the Goddess’s forgiveness.

Saine nodded repeatedly; as long as Xizor lived, she would meet the Goddess alongside him, standing with a heinous criminal. Even if she wasn’t a traitor, she’d be seen as one.

It’s better for Xizor to be dead.

"Since everyone has no issues, let’s settle it..."

Wayne took a deep breath, touched his right eye, and stood up: "I’m not someone who likes to delay. The Goddess has been asleep for a long time, and Hades can’t be without her. We shall depart immediately to eliminate Xizor and enter the Eternal Hall to awaken the Goddess."

The Eternal Hall houses Aztemo’s true form, and only by corrupting it can Hades be truly taken over.

He had awaited this day for a long time, having taken ninety-nine steps. The last step must not fail.

Grew and Saine rose to their feet, the former excited, the latter anxious, fearing she couldn’t attain forgiveness, continuously blinking at Wayne.

The Subsidiary Gods stand above all, holding a position under one and over ten thousand in Hades. There’s no ’seduction’ in their dictionary, yet Saine’s actions were pure seduction, just short of handing Wayne a room card.

Grew snorted disdainfully.

Wayne smiled slightly, patting Saine’s shoulder: "No need for this. The Goddess has always been in Hades, watching over you. I have a feeling you’ve already been forgiven."

Flirting done, he ran off!

The Eleventh Layer of Hades, The Only Cosmos.

Above the vast starry sky, a bleached gray mist seemed to cover the firmament, with a filter net composed of faith and Death ensuring Aztemo could obtain more uncorrupted information from The Void.

This is the true Only Cosmos. The path Wayne previously took was a dead end. It originally led directly to the back door of the Eternal Hall, but because Hades was held by three Subsidiary Gods, this shortcut was sealed.

To enter the Eternal Hall and see the Goddess, one must step over Xizor’s corpse.

Outside the starry sky, a silhouette shrouded in gray mist walked slowly, its presence blending serenely with the surrounding cosmos, undetectable unless observed with the naked eye.

Gazing at the endless Only Cosmos, Rone’s heart was tranquil, his unwavering thoughts allowing him to perfectly blend into the starry sky, making his infiltration a great success.

Just a little slow, loitering around the outskirts for most of the day.

Rone didn’t rush to speed up, firstly to avoid exposure, given the potential to face Xizor directly, and secondly to wait for Wayne’s cover. He calculated that if Wayne acted according to plan, it couldn’t be smooth sailing. Even if everything went well, it would take at least a month to draw Xizor out.

So, slow and steady, rushing wouldn’t help.

A large swath of flowing lights flashed by, as imposing beams of light rushed forth.
