"Jeffrey Logan? He's the next target?" Elena asked standing up while Sarah continued with whatever she was doing with the time machine.

"Sarah please you have to help me slove this puzzle. I'm not a genius, please give me the slightest clue, will you?" Elena whined as she sat next to Sarah, being careful enough in order not to touch her.

She kept mute for a while and watched as Sarah worked on the bolts on the halfly built time machine.

A knock was heard from the door again as Sarah looked up at the door then at Elena.

"Ok, ok, I get it. I'll go get the door" Elena said standing up as Sarah continued with the screw.

She got to the door, opening it, this time instead of Agent Zoe whom she expected. It turned out to be a maid.

"Oh hi" she said to the maid.

"Hi little girl" the maid said handling the carton of tools to Elena who took it as she grumbled.

"Oh, that's a lot of weight" she said and gave out a feeble laugh.

"Yh, Sarah is just mysterious. I wonder what she's working on this time around" The maid complained and peep at her, making Elena look back at Sarah who was till busy with the bolts and nuts. (written by Naomi Innocent)

"We're working on a science project. That's all, I don't see anything mysterious about that. Right?" Elena said with a smile as the maid stared at her awkwardly.

"Oh yeah, sure" The Maid said faking a laugh as she took a bow before leaving.

Elena carried the package to Sarah who opened it and brought out more tools. She took her drawing book and flipped through, opening to a page that has the drawing of a time machine in an old cottage.

"Can I see please?" Elena asked taking it from her as she stared at it.

"Oh, it looks old and ancient. You drew this right?" Elena asked her but again, she continued with her work.

"I still don't get why you chose a time machine out of the numerous science projects there is" Elena said sitting down fully as she hugged her knees.

"Or.. Maybe.. " she said taking the drawing book again as she flipped through the pages to the time machine.

"You saw this in your vision, right?" Elena asked her but she kept mute.

Elena got fed up as she stood up, walking to Sarah's counter, she placed her hands on her waist as her eyes darted to a white mini ball that has a red spot on it.

She took it and stared at the spot and sniffed it as she squeezed her face.

"Eww, blood" she muttered and glanced over to Sarah who was staring at her now.

She shrugged and dropped the ball back as a crazy thought popped into her head. She smiled and picked the ball back and walked up to Sarah and sat opposite her.

"Now look at me Sarah, I want us to play a game" She said while Sarah continued with her stuff but she forged ahead.

" I'll ask you a question and roll this ball towards you. If the answer is yes, throw it back at me but if it's no, don't throw it back, ok?" She said as she threw the ball to Sarah which rolled and stopped at her knee.

"It's about Jeffrey Logan. Is he a member of the cops?" She asked as she waited for her to throw the ball back at her but she didn't.

"Is he part of the council?" She asked again and waited for her to throw the ball but she didn't and she got frustrated.

"This is way harder than I thought" Elena said burrying her face on her knees as she heard a rolling sound. She raised up her head and saw that Sarah had rolled back the ball at her.

"Oh my God. Good.. " Elena said excitedly.

"How many days do we have left before the Homicide would occur?" She asked and threw the ball at Sarah.

"3 days? 2 days? Tomorrow..?" Sarah threw the ball back at her.

"Oh my God!" Elena exclaimed.

"What's our chances of saving him?" She said and rolled the ball back at sarah.

"100? 90? 80? 70? 60? 50?.. " Sarah rolled the ball back at her as she held it.

"Hmm, this is bad. 50-50?" She asked as she bowed her head.

"Will any of us get hurt?" She asked as she rool the ball to her.

Sarah threw the ball back at her as her heart raced.

"This is bad" she mumbled as she held the ball.

"Which of us would get hurt? Is it Alex? Peter? Laura or me?" She asked and rolled the ball to her but then, Sarah doesn't wanna play again.

She stood up from her position and walked to the halfly built time machine as she resumed her work.

"Sarah please you have to answer me" Elena said almost crying but Sarah didn't reply or look up at her. Rather, she continued with the bolts.

"Whomever that would get hurt, I pray it should be me" she said as Sarah stopped what she was doing and looked up at her.

Elena didn't see Sarah staring at her because she bowed her head. Sarah smiled at her and frowned immediately as she continued her work.

"I've gotta go now. We have to set things in order" Elena said standing up.

"We'll meet at school" Elena said to an uninterested Sarah as she walked to the door.

She opened it and stared back at Sarah as she caught her staring back at her. Sarah looked down first as she continued her work whole Elena left the house.

Sarah looked up at the door as she stared at it for a while before sitting up. She walked to her closet and took her journal. She sat on the ground as she started writing in Portuguese.

"Wait wait wait, so you did some research about that Chris Liam of a guy?" Alex asked unbelievably as he shook his head sideways.

"Yh, of course. He's damn cute and I have a crush on him" Laura said as she operated on the systems in the basement.

She smiled staring at Liam's photos on the screen.

"You have a crush on a complete stranger? Someone you haven't even said hi to? You're so unbelievable" Peter said as he walked out of the basement with Alex following him.

"He's not a stranger. He is.." Laura stopped as she turned her back to see that, the guys were no longer in the basement.

"Great" she mumbled and stood up almost falling.

"Ouch! My leg!" She grumbled and walked out of the basement. Climbing the mini wooden stairs up, she got to the living room.

"He's not a stranger dudes. He is related to the... " She stopped and stared at them.

"Hi" Nicholas said to her as she blinked her eyes.

"Oh, hi little kid?" She said giving Alex a look as he shrugged and rolled his eyes.

"And you are?.." Laura asked as he smiled.

"I'm Nicholas, a classmate and a friend of Bonnie" he said and turned to face Alex.

"Oh, so her boyfriend finally showed up!" Alex teased making his friends laugh, except Nicholas who didn't find it funny.

"Yh, I wish!" Nicholas said downcasted.

"So.. What brought you.. "

"Bonnie was absent in school today. And she's definitely not the type that misses school. I came to check up on her. I hope she is ok" he said looking round the house as if Bonnie is invincible somewhere.

"Awwn, that's so sweet of you. How old are you?" Laura asked.

"I'm 11" he said.

"And your parents allowed you to come out here alone?" Peter asked.

"I'm 11 not 7. And besides, we live a few blocks away"

"Are you sure your parents approved your leaving the house? Who does not know Mystic Hollow ain't safe?"

"I came with my nanny, she's outside. Can we please cut the interrogations? I'm really concerned about Bonnie"

"Bonnie went on a vacation" Alex said

"Vecation? It's not even summer break yet" Nicholas whined.

"Yh, she talks about clearing her head off something. What an attitude huh?" Alex said laughing as Nicholas frowned.

He starred at Peter who was laughing too. Peter got the message and stopped laughing as he stared at the kid.

"What?" He asked.

"You hurt her right?" He asked calmly as Peter wondered what was wrong with him.

"Did he say anything?" Laura asked, observing that the kid was frowning at Peter now.

"No I didn't. I said I'll take my leave now. Just send my regards to her whenever she comes back. Nice talking to you guys" he said and smiled at Alex and Laura before frowning at Peter and walked to the door.

"What an attitude" Peter shrugged as his phone peeped.

He took out the phone from his pocket and read a text from Sophia as he smiled.

"Gotta go guys. Wanna catch up with someone" he said standing up as he shoved back the phone in his pocket.

"You wanna catch up with someone or you wanna go see Sophia?" Laura teased as she and Alex laughed hysterically.

"Yh, whatever. Its the science project stuff ok? Nothing much" he said walking to the door.

"Ok, whatever do you make sure you use contraceptives! We are still dealing with Bonnie. We wouldn't wanna have another... "

"Shut up!" Peter yelled at him making him and Laura laugh as he left the house.

"By the count of Five, he'll come back" Alex said as Laura stared at him.

"Why?" She asked.

"He forgot his wallet!" Alex said as they both laughed.

Peter walked back inside the room as he picked up his wallet from the sofa.

Alex and Laura laughed so hard at this as he glared at them before walking out finally.

"I'm going to make lemonade" Laura said standing up as she walked to the kitchen.

Elena opened the door and banged it before her as she slumbed on the sofa.

"Hey Elena. How have you been?" Alex asked as she tried to think.

"How did the science project go with Sarah?" He asked as she sat up.

Laura walked out of the kitchen with two cups of lemonades. Alex took one from her hand as Elena took the other and gulped down.

"Great!" Laura said and sat down.

"I've been calling your line for ages. You weren't answering the phone" Elena complained as Laura searched herself and bit her lower lip.

"I forgot it at the basement" she said standing up.

"Where's Peter?" Elena asked observing he wasn't around.

"Went to Sophia's" Alex said.

"Oh" that was all she could say.

"Guys, the next target is Jeffrey Logan. Heard he's a member of the council" Elena said dropping the glass of lemonade on a stool.

"Jeffrey what? Never heard of him before" Laura said sitting close to Elena.
