"Fay, I'll really appreciate it if you would make that mouth of yours useful by telling me where the hell is everyone" Crane said getting annoyed by Fay's attitude.

"Its Bonnie" she said finally.

"Yes? What happened to my daughter?" He replied in annoyance. Trying his best not to loose it.

"She's.. Emm... Alex and Laura were here when they received a call. Yes, it was Laura that took the call. After which they said Bonnie was in danger and had to leave the house, they.. They said something about the amusement park...and.. " she didn't fininsh her speech as Crane became furious.

"Damn it" He muttered!

He took his gun from his Police jacket as he reloaded the rifle immediately, making Fay flinch. He brought out his phone and dialed a number after which placed it on his ear as he walked out of the house in a hurry.

Fay just stared at the door in bewilderment, everything was freaking and choking her out. She knelt on the floor and covered her eyes with her palms and shivered.

They stared at Bonnie in shock as she struck Peter's hair.

"Emm, Alex? How old did you say she was again?" Laura whispered to Alex who seemed tired of the whole situation.

"I dont even know anymore. I sometimes feel there's something that's talking inside of her. A nine years old doesn't talk this much" Alex said almost in a whisper.

"Bonnie! You shouldn't be saying words like sex! You are only 9! And who the hell taught you about that!" Alex said as he glanced at Elena who was sobbing.

Bonnie who was in a kneeling position straighten up as she gave Alex a horrid look.

"Who doesn't know about sex huh? Sex is everywhere. This is a global age, the world is dynamic. Seriously the 21st century, it ain't like your time when things were difficult for you guys as kids. And plus, sex is in the television, mobile phones, news papers.. Should I keep it going?" She asked sniffing as she eyed Alex.

"Just shut up Bonnie, and who the hell told you where you could find sex huh? Don't you feel uncomfortable saying that shit in front of your elders?" Alex asked as she scoffed.

"Well don't you feel uncomfortable keeping a porn video in your phone? Doesn't it occur to you for once that I might access it? And the other night? I heard you talking to Fay, telling her you love her so much and not just for the sex. So just leave me be!" She said as Alex went dumbfounded and white immediately.

Elena and Laura just watched the siblings in dismay as they proceeded in their lashing battle.

Alex opened his mouth to say something but stopped when his phone ringed. It was his father.

## "Hey dad" he said after pressing the receive button.

##"where's Bonnie? Tell me she's ok' his dad said rushing his words.

##" Yh, she is" Alex said staring at Bonnie who was sobbing now.

##"Put her online" Crane said as Alex nodded and handed the phone over to Bonnie who took it.

##"Hello daddy?' She said with the tiniest and sad voice ever.

##" hey sweetie, are you alright?" He asked as she nodded.

##" I was so scared. I thought I was going to die" she said as the tears flowed down from her eyes and traveled through her cheeks.

##"Hey, hey, hey, listen to me honey. Nothing's gonna happen to you ok. You're gonna be alright. Daddy's here for you. Now tell me where you guys are" Crane said as she sniffed.

##" On our way to the hospital" she said as he got furious.

##"ok honey, stop crying and give the phone to Alex" her dad ordered as she nodded and handled the phone to Alex.

##"Dad?' Alex said.

##"You guys are heading to the hospital?" He asked.

##"Yes dad. We.." His dad cut his speech.

##"You have lot's of explanation to do. I hope my daughter ain't hurt?" He asked.

##"Bonnie's find but.." his dad cut his speech again.

##"I am coming right away" with that, he ended the call as Alex sighed.

The van stopped at the hospital as the nurses rushed to the van, opening the booth, Peter was rolled out on the strecher as he was taken to ward 15.

They didn't allow his friends to enter the surgical room with him where the surgery to remove the bullet from his arm would be done.

"Here's your limit for now, you can't proceed more than this" one of the nurses said stopping them from going into the surgical room with Peter.

One of the doctors met The Freaks as she asked them some vital questions.

"Who's the victim to you?" She asked.

"He's our friend " Elena stated.

"What happened to him?" The doctor asked while a nurse did the writing.

"He was shot, by the serial killer" Elena explained.

"Did he sustain any other injury? Like did he hit his head or something?" She further asked.

"None that I know of" Elena said.

"Apply any first aid on him?" The doctor asked.

"Yh, disinfected the wound with ethanol and stopped the bleeding. That's all" she said.

"Ok, you've done a great job kid, we'll really appreciate it if you call his parents, relatives or guardian before the surgery would be carried out" the doctor told them.

"Ah.. Sir, we have a problem. His parents are dead and we don't know anything about his relatives" Elena stated as the doctor breathed down.

"And you call yourselves his friends?" The nurse muttered to herself as she shook her head and took down some writings.

"Then I'm sorry, we can't perform the surgery without any of his relatives signing' the doctor said.

"What? We can sign.. Where's the paper?" Alex said out of frustration.

"I'm sorry kid. It's not done that way. An adult need to sign. Not some sort of high school teenagers and not just any adult, a family" the doctor said

"Hey watch your mouth doc. I have respect for elders. My dad saw to that so don't get me annoyed. You better perform that surgery on my boyfriend, if anything happens to him, you have no idea the stuff I'm Made up of and trust me, you won't like me" Bonnie said to the perplexed doctor within gritted teeth.

Doc Erica stared at her blankly, her jaw dropped in surprise as she wondered where she came from.

"Hey Bonnie, Bonnie. You don't talk to a grown-ups like that" Alex scolded her and turned to the doctor.

"She's sorry ma'am, don't Mind her, she just gets cranky at times" Alex said as she smiled.

"Hmm, this kid got a big mouth there right? How old is she? Is she up to 6?" Doc Erica asked which made Bonnie got more pissed off.

"I'm 9! 9! Not 6" Bonnie screamed back.

"And why do I have this feeling that I've seen you somewhere before? Well I'll figure that out" she said to Bonnie and smiled as she turned to the Freaks.

"And when you get any of his relatives, you can get back to me so we'll carry out the surgery immediately" Doc Erica said as she smiled at them and left while they walked round the waiting room out of frustration.

Crane got to the hospital as he searched for his children, he was directed to Ward 15 waiting room that some kids came in just now.

He went there and saw them as Bonnie raced to him.

He squated as he hugged her tightly, she whimpered and cried as her dad pat her back.

"Daddy, I don't want anything to happen to Peter. He saved me and is in that state because of me now. I so much hate myself. I'm a bad girlfriend" Bonnie cried as her dad got confused and disengaged the hug.

"What's she talking about?" Crane asked the three grown ups as Laura spoke.

"Bonnie was with Peter at the amusement park when she was attacked by the serial killer. Peter risked his life to save her and got shot" Laura summarized.

"What?' Crane asked reflexly, making Elena sniffed.

"Daddy, the doctors don't want to attend to Peter because he has no adult or relative to sign an undertaking for him. Can you please do that for him?" Bonnie asked crying as her dad wiped her tears away.

"It's ok honey, it's ok, don't cry. Where's the doctor?" Crane asked as Elena said with a hoarse voice.

"I'll take you to her" she said standing up as Crane kissed Bonnie before following Elena to go meet the doctor.

The Doctor did the surgery successfully and the bullet was taken out. He was in coma as a drip was fixiated to his wrist.

Elena, Bonnie, Laura and Alex including Crane were present in ward 15 as the doctor took his temperature reading.

"Is he going to be OK?" Bonnie asked the doctor as she smiled and glanced at her.

"Yeah, he would. He just needs rest" Erica said as Bonnie nodded and muttered a thanks to her.

She left as everyone in the room kept mute. The singing voices of crickets were heard from outside the hospital building. The night outside was cold and pitch dark.

The only sound that was heard in the room was their breathing, the beeping sound of the electronic gadget in the room and the tapping sound of the drip.

Mr. Crane stood up from the stool he was sitting on as he stretched.

"Alex, I'll be going home now. Just received a text from Fay, she wants to go home, she's been waiting for us for ages. Her aunt is scared something might have happened to her. I believe you would want to stay over here" he said as Alex nodded.

"Yeah. Thanks Dad" He said raising his head to meet his gaze. His dad nodded and walked up to Bonnie.

"Bonnie, come let's go" Mr. Crane said as he glanced at his wrist watch seeing it was 9:23Pm

"I don't want to go with you. I want to be the first person he sees when he opens his eyes" Bonnie persisted.

"You're going to catch a cold here. Come let's go home already" Crane said out of frustration and tiredly.

"You're going to do better than that convincing me dad. I ain't going no where" she said as she held on to Peter's hand as Crane gave up.

"Ok then. Alex please take care of her for me. I'll stop by tomorrow before going to work. It's a good thing tomorrow is Saturday " he said.

"Laura, Elena? Good night kids" he said as they nodded and wished him too.

"Bonnie, you're gonna be ok for dad huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, good night daddy" she said still holding on to Peter's hands as he left.

There was an awkward silence of 4 minutes as Elena broke it.

"Bonnie, can I ask you a question?" She said as Bonnie shrugged.

"Yh sure, go on"

"When I called Peter, he told me you were riding the carousel, but then he had to rescue you at the power house. Why did you leave his sight without letting him know? You know that's very risky. You could have been killed" Elena scolded.

Bonnie stared at her in shock without uttering a word.
