The sheriff left with her squad as the locals started murmuring, the Press continued the news.

Meanwhile, the Mayor had been watching the live news the sheriff made in his limo.

"Damn that bitch!" He said punching a guard sitting next to him in the car.

"She's told them the truth now. Trying to be the heroine making me the bad guy! Me?! The villain?! Damn her!" He said angrily.

"I'll teach her a lesson" he muttered to himself as they pulled over at his garage.

They opened the door for him as he staggered out of the limo. His wife who had been scared to her marrow while watching the news that something bad might have happened to him raced to him on seeing him and pulled him to a hug.

"Leave me alone woman! I'm in no mood for hugs! I have fishes to fry!" He said staggering inside the mansion as Emily stared at him dazed.

Alex walked up to Bonnie's room, finding her still sleeping on her bed.

He smiled seeing her fast asleep as he brought out the bottled water he was hiding. He poured it on her as she screamed.

Her dad who was preparing for work raced to her room to check her out only to see she and Alex playing.

"Daddy, aren't you forgetting something?" Bonnie asked Crane with her tiny voice as he scratched his head. He was dressed up in his Police outfit already.

"I don't know. Would you mind reminding daddy?" Crane asked as Bonnie lifted her hands up in the air.

"You've gotten too engrossed with work that you barely spend time with us these days. You no longer stay at home anymore. How would you forget about today?" Bonnie asked sadly as Alex just stared at them while Crane squatted beside his daughter.

"You know daddy isn't just busy for nothing. I know you've been hearing about the homicides lately. It's the top news in town. Daddy is busy looking for bad guys and daddy has gotta catch them and crush them!". Crane said as Bonnie started laughing.

"Daddy you can't do that on your own, you need the in libro de morte to guide you " Bonnie said as Alex closed her mouth before she would talk further.

"The what?' Her dad said as Alex quickly changed the topic.

"Dad, today is 2nd of August, isn't that date familiar?" Alex asked as his dad nodded.

"Of course! How would I forget my angel's birthday" Crane said carrying her up as she giggled.

"Happy birthday my little angel. I'll try take the early shift today so we could get you ice cream and have fun too" Mr. Crane said.

"Yahhh, dad, we'll get chocolates too and I'm gonna invite my friends" Bonnie said as her dad nodded.

"And dad, can Peter come too?' She asked.

"Of course darling. All your friends are invited' her dad said touching her nose as she laughed. Alex watched them as he remembered how his mom died while giving birth to Bonnie this same date.

"I've gotta go honey, duty calls" Crane said as he dropped her down and they said their byes.

He walked out of the room and bumped into Peter. They exchanged greetings as Mr. Crane finally left the house.

Peter went inside the house and sat on the couch waiting for Bonnie and Alex to prepare for school. In less than 30minutes, Alex and Bonnie were done getting ready.

Bonnie ran towards Peter when she saw him, he lifted her up as she giggled.

"Happy birthday my little wife" he said as she frowned.

"Little wife? Then who's your big wife?' She asked feigning annoyance as Alex laughed.

"You don't need to frown today. It's your big day. And here, I got you a present" Peter said giving her a pinkbag, he dropped her on the floor. ( Written by Naomi Innocent )

"Awwn, thanks alot. Can I open it now?" She asked smiling as Peter touched her nose.

"It's all yours kiddo" he said as she smiled and kept it inside her bag.

"I'll do that in school so I could show my classmates what my boyfriend got me" she said happily dropping it in her bag as she zipped it close and hung it at her back again.

"Boyfriend?" Peter and Alex asked simultaneously as she giggled.

"Don't eat me up dudes, I was only joking " she said as Alex breathed down.

"Where's Elena and Laura?' Alex asked as they took their bagpack and left the house.

"They said they'll catch up with us" Peter said as they started walking to school.

"Guys you know I had the weirdest dream last night?" Bonnie asked as Alex glanced toward her, who was walking beside Peter.

"What's the dream all about ?" He asked her.

"I dreamt that, I saw myself, but not as human, but a ghost. Putting on a white gown stained with blood. I think I was shot" she said getting scared.

"It was just a dream. Remember you read that scary journal you deciphered? You're just imagining things" Alex said.

"Yh, remember the journal talks about ghosts and the dead alot. Don't be scared, just cheer up. Remember today is your special day and I'll be spending it all with you. You'll be officially 10" Peter said as she giggled.

"I'll be officially 9 actually" she corrected still giggling.

"What the heck?' Peter asked as they all laughed.

"Today is gonna be so fun" Bonnie muttered to herself as they hiked to school.
