Chapter 32: Chapter 32
*Luke's Point Of View*
"Do you Luke Muller accept Princess Anne of England to be lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked.
"I do, I said hestitatedly. I can see her tensed up and I instantly regret my words.
"Do her majestic, princess Anne of England accept Luke Muller to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The place is silent. We both don't want this and whatever that she says seals our faith.
She takes a glance at her mother before she sighed. "I do," the crowd breaks in applauds. They rejoiced but we didn't, we we weren't getting married to the one we loved.
The cake cutting and the rest were done simultaneously. In a moment I turned to were Sandra was sitting but, she wasn't there. My eyes scanned the whole area but she was no where to be found.
In the mist of my searching and state of being tensed I heard a scream, we all heard a scream and we dashed out towards the direction.
The sight there was traumatising. Sandra was beneath the pool of water, only her hair floated a bit.
"What happened," my voice came out broken and husky.
"I tried to stop her but she just told me to tell you that she loved you and that this was not your fault."
How can she say that? It was and is my fault. Tears prcked my eyes attempting to fall and I kneel on the floor while Anne soothed me.
It's my fault....that was the last thing I thought before I woke up.
I was sweating heavenly. It was just a dream, just a dream. Though, I keep saying that. It just doesn't work.
Getting out of the bed, I walked downstairs, not wanting to wake everyone up with the sound of the elevator, I took the stairs.
I got to the kitchen, a kitchen ten time bigger than mine. I'll just get a glass of water.
"How may I be of assistance to you?" I turned my head to catch a female behind the huge counter.
"I just need a glass of water," I stated and she quickly ran to get me a glass and poured water into it.
"Bad dream?" She asked as she slides the glass over to me.
"I guess so," I replied, taking a sip from the glass.
"You know what helps me out when I have a bad dream?" She asked. "Talking with someone."
"Are you trying to say that talking with you will help me relax?" I asked and she nodded biting her lip awkwardly.
Is she trying to seduce me or what? It's not working! It's really disgusting.
"I have....to go," I backed away, moving towards the stairs.
"What about your water?" She asked after me.
"I am alright now," I stated as I got out of sight. I'll have to sleep through this.
******
"You are gonna do great. Don't be nervous son," Dad soothed.
I'm not nervous, I'm just thinking about this wedding and my decision.
I was standing at the alter now waiting for Anne.
I must say that my legs are aching me. I've been waiting and standing for some while now. I part of me wants to get this over with while the other is terrified of the outcome.
Are we going to get married and Sandra will kill herself?
Just like her dream?
What if I say no?
What if she.....
My thoughts were interrupted by the outburst of the piano and I sighed.
She's here!
She walked side by side with her father, their hands intertwined. Behind her was Laura, Sandra, Nelly, Harper and Emma who helped to carry her long coat that was trailing behind her as she walked.
She looked beautiful, very beautiful but I don't love her and she doesn't love me too. There's no forcing that.
In minutes she was close to me and the real deal started.
"Luke Muller, do you take Princess Anne Of England to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
Just like my dream, I hestitatedly but finally said, "Yes,"
I know fully well that Sandra will never kill herself I know her too well, I hope so.
"Do you Princess Anne Of England take Luke Muller to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
I almost squeezed my eyes shot as the memories of my dream came back to me.
What if she says yes?
What if Sandra dies??
No, that can't happen, it can't.
It won't.
Just like in the dream, Anne's eyes trailed to her mom and she sighed turning back to me.
"I can't, I won't," she spat out and the room is filled with gasps. I gasped myself. Does she not realise that her mother won't be so please with that?
But yet again, she said no. No!
I can't help but feel that it means Sandra won't die.
I think Anne saved her life.
