Angela's POV

After Erish left for the office, I tiredly went to my bedroom.

"Home! Sweet home!" I shouted with happiness.

No matter where we go, the warmth of home never matches anywhere.

I tied up my clothes and took a refreshing bath.

"Mam, this is your tea!" One of the servants comes.

"Thank you!" I smiled.

After she left, I took a sip of my tea and then sat on the couch to do my office work. I can't ignore it! After leaving suddenly for my honeymoon, my assistant handles everything.

I called her and told her to send the details of every project which she handles in my absence. Because I'm the one who made the last decision as a boss.

I opened my laptop and started reading all the papers which were sent by my assistant through office email. It's going to take 3 to 4 hours without a doubt. So, I instantly started reading and pointed out some errors line by line.

I don't know how much time passed to do it but suddenly I heard a knock on my door.

"Mam!" One of the servants' voices came to my ears.

I was so busy at work that I didn't move my eyes from the laptop and ask it.

"What happened?"

"Mam, it's already lunchtime. Should I bring your meal here?" She reported and I finally moved my eyes from laptop to wall clock.

Yes, it's already afternoon. I think I should eat first then continue my work.

"Yes, bring my food here!" I told her and she left to come back with my food.

I told her to just put it on the table and then go.

I looked at the meal and stood up from my couch to first go to the bathroom and wash up my hands.

I started eating when suddenly, I thought about Erish. Is he busy right now? Thinking that I just texted him and without making me wait he told me he was just sitting on his chair which made me chuckle.

We both did little conversation and at last, he made me blush with his romantic text.

After our conversation is done. I started designing some sketches of outfits for a new project.

Going to the Maldives, I got a lot of inspiration for new designs. Which could be used for next year's summertime. This is going to benefit my company.

I again got busy with it but the next moment I heard a familiar voice which I can guess even in my sleep.

"I know you are a businesswoman but you should remember about us also!"

Learning the complaint, I chuckled and raised my head with happiness.

"MOM!!!"

I looked at her and instantly forgot about work and went to her. I hugged her tightly while she patted my back.

"Silly girl! After marriage, you forget about your parents huh!!" She pouted angrily which made me laugh. I know she's just trying to act angry but in reality, she's happy for me and the way I accepted my new marriage.

"It's not like that! You know better and we always talk on the phone!" I teasingly answer her back.

She raised her brows.

"Now, you know how to save yourself! Huh!" She asked while maintaining her cute pout.

I hugged her again while planting a sweet kiss on her cheeks.

"Mom, I missed you! Now no more anger please!" I tried to show the puppy face.

And the next moment, her bright smile came to her face.

"Alright! But I want to know each detail related to your honeymoon!" She tries to tease me.

"Mom!" I exclaimed while my cheeks already turned red.

"Ohh my daughter is blushing!" She chuckled while I hid my face with my palms which made her laugh even harder.

Suddenly, I remembered Erish and my exotic nights where he looked like a sex devil while I was also in my badass personality. Yup, it didn't end well but our starting is great.

This is something new for both of us. But that was truly incredible.

"Cough...Cough!"

My mom's coughing made me come back to my senses. Only thinking about that my heart was racing while my face was almost red.

"Mom, let's sit and talk!" I tried to divert the words while she nodded lightly.

We both talked for many hours. This is something I missed so much. My parents are always so open-minded. They never tried to knot me with them. They always wanted me to make my own decision on my own. They are a support system in my life and this is all I want.

Maids bring some snacks for both of us while it's now started to sunset.

Mom wanted to leave but I told her to at least stay for dinner. She can meet Erish also this way and she agreed.

I called Erish to know when he was going to come back. But to my surprise, he told me he was on his way home which shocked me.

This is something new. It's only 7 pm. and he is already coming back home.

My mom also saw my reaction and heard our phone conversation.

"I think! He already started missing you!" My mom explained which made me put a satisfied smile on my lips.

Half an hour later, I saw Erish who looked a little tired even though there was a bright smile but his eyes were not sparkling at all.

He comes back home because of urgent work. I think it's truly important.

"Hello, mother!" Erish hugged my mom while she smiled generously and patted his back.

"How are you son?" She asked.

"I'm a fine mom! And I hope your health is good!" Erish softly speaks up while my mom nodded.

"Yes, I'm absolutely fine!" She smiled warmly.

"What about dad? He didn't come with you?" Erish asked, looking at mom and then me.

"He wanted to come Son, but he needed to go to another city for business work." She explained to him while he understood.

We all went to the couch and talked a little more.

Erish went to the master bedroom to change and get refreshed. Because it's already going to be dinner time.

After he changed into fresh clothes, we went to the dining table and started eating while having a conversation about many things. I can see a satisfied smile on my mother's face the whole time after Erish comes.

Erish and my mom talked before but not for hours but today he looked interested in talking to my mom. He also made many suggestions when my mom told him about her back pain which made me smile.

"Mom, come with dad next time!" I started to miss my dad more after seeing my mom.

"Alright!" She nodded while Erish asked the driver to send her back safely.
