Angela changed into fresh clothes and her injuries were checked by a doctor which is minor, not threatening.

"Angela, We are leaving now. But if there is any news let us know immediately, or else we will be back the next early in the morning." Mrs.Brooks explained while Angela calmly nodded, without saying any words.

She walked with them through the corridor. When it was time to sit in the car, Erish looked at Angela and said," I know many things happened today, so, please, you should also take a rest. Don't be too hard on yourself…and think about my words…"

Angela meets his eyes while Erish gives a weak smile to her and turns with his wheelchair to go into the car, where the driver helps him to adjust in his seat.

Angela silently watches the car vanish at full speed. While she turned to the corridor going back to Eric's ward.

As soon as she stood in front of the door, her hands hesitated to touch the doorknob but after taking a long breath to adjust herself ultimately she opened the door and entered inside, closing the door behind her.

Her eyes moved directly to Eric's lying figure on the bed and the machines which were attached to his chest. His face completely turned pale after suffering the big accident.

She took the place beside his bed on the chair while her warm hand went to touch his hand which was resting on the bed.

Suddenly, she remembered the day when they walked on the beach the whole day, holding each other's hand. Eric never wanted to separate his hand even when she told him to let go of her.

But all he said was," I just like the warmth of your hand Angela and trust me until your hands intertwined with mine. Nothing can separate us…"

Her eyes got tears from remembering his words while she sobbed out hardly before looking at the man with a deep hurting gaze.

"Why? Why?... Why do you need to push me and hit on your own? Why?" Her eyes rimmed red with crying for so long. While her body trembled nonstop with hurt and pain which she was feeling right now. At first, she thought she never cared about him. But when she watched him suffer like this. Her heart-piercing through with a sharp blade. She's feeling suffocated and there is no calmness around her.

Her every single heartbeat wanted to see him smiling again and be healthy at this moment.

Now she realized his suffering is not different from her. Whenever he will hurt, she feels hurt too.

"Eric…" Her voice shook as she bent her head to press his holding hand against her forehead and closed her eyes the next moment.

She spends the night sitting on the chair beside him without moving her eyes from him. Her weak gaze waits for him to open his eyes but there is no reaction from him all night. He didn't even flinch his finger.

The next morning, Eric's parents come back to see their son. But this time they were alone as Erish's body is still weak to go around daily. So, they told him to stay in the house.

Angela just formally talked with them while she got her phone back from Eric's parents. As it was found in his car.

She thanked them and called her parents to the empty corner.

The phone rang only twice as her mom accepted her call and replied the next moment.

"Angela, So, finally you remember about us? Huh?" Hearing her mom's voice she couldn't help but break down suddenly and her sobbing voice could be heard by her mother.

"What happened, sweetie? Are you alright?" Her mom's concerned voice comes from another side.

"No! Mom! I'm not alright! I'm in so much pain! My heart is hurting so badly Mom!" Her hand clenched the clothes around her chest as she felt suffocated to breathe at this moment.

"Dear, why are you saying this? Tell your mother, what happened?" Her mother's voice filled with worry to hear her daughter sobbing like this and telling those hurtful lines.

"Mom…"

"E-Eric got into an accident!" Her voice shakes almost to not to hear her words clearly if her mom is not in a call.

"What?"

"What are you saying, Angela?" Her voice turned shocked as she felt stunned to hear this big news.

"Y-Yes…Mom…I…I'm telling the truth…" Her sobs turned harder.

"B-But, how do you know that?" Her mother's voice filled with confusion. As she thought, Angela is with Ella.

"M-Mom I was there when this accident happened," Angela answered her mother.

"What? But how? And why are you there?"

"Angela, I want to know complete things, so tell me right now!" Her mom's voice turned serious as Angela knew it was time for her to tell everything to her mom.

She explained all the incidents to her mother. How Eric asked her to come back home and when she came back, he locked her and she was not with Ella but Eric all the time and finally when she ran last night. Suddenly, a truck was ready to hit her but Eric saved her life.

"Mom! Eric is now in a coma! The doctor informed us that if he doesn't come back to his senses in one week, they need to perform another surgery on him and his life could be in danger."

"Ohh my God…" Her mom felt completely shocked to hear all this.

"Mom, he got into an accident because of me!" Angela's tears streaming down non-stop.

"Sweetie…" Her mother felt too upset about her daughter's condition. As her eyes also turned red to feel her words.

"Mom, I don't know what to do anymore? Will he wake up, Mom? I'm so scared to hear bad news…"

She sat on the ground and closed her knees to her chest folding them. And curling up herself in the corner.

"Angela, nothing is going to happen to him! Just trust your prayers…" Her mom's words were filled with determination, as she added," And it's not your fault, remember that…you just don't want to be with him and the path he chose is wrong…it is not your fault, my daughter…"

"Mom…" She whispered with a painful voice.

"I'm coming to see you with your dad!"

"Dad?" Angela's eyes widened.

"Yes, he already came back and knew everything." Her mom sighed helplessly.

Angela felt mixed emotions but she knew it was going to happen soon.

"Alright, Mom…I'll wait for you and dad!" She said and finally disconnect the call.
