"When did you come to your senses?" Angela's eyes focused on the outside of the night view through the window with cold sights as she was standing there wrapping her arms around her chest. Her voice is deep but not harsh there.

Erish, sitting silently in his wheelchair a few meters away from her opposite direction, looked at her with a sorrowful and guilty gaze. As he listened to her query.

"It has been a week…" Erish answered in a short breath as he felt too complicated at this moment when he saw her today. She's not the same person whom he knows and he realized that as soon as he met her in Mr.Brooks's ward. She has changed. Eric and he changed her.

Angela turned to see him straight into his eyes as she asked another question," So, what do you want to talk to me about alone?"

Erish eyes focused on her expressionless face and felt too bad in his heart to let her make this way, let her suffer so much just because of his cowardness. He felt he wanted to break out his words, and the next moment he did that with a heavy and painful voice.

"Angela…I want to apologize…"

Angela didn't stop him as she silently focused on him.

"I'm sorry to cheat on you! I'm sorry for not telling you in the first place, I fell in love with someone else. I'm sorry for my family's deeds which they did to you without your permission, I'm sorry to let you suffer so much just because of my cowardness."

His eyes got tears as he felt like a criminal to make so many people's life suffer because of him. He even can't take the place for his own lover when he fights with his dad and this made him feel like a coward that night and with this frustration, he goes out angrily and gets into an accident. Even after the accident when he finally awakened and heard what his parents did to Eric and Angela. He felt terrible. He never thought his one fault made everyone live like this.

"Why didn't you tell me in the beginning that you don't want the marriage?"

Angela heavily asked. It's not like she's still in love with him, but as they all spend their half-life together as a friend, at least he could tell her this bitter truth by himself in the beginning.

Yes, it was going to break her heart at that moment. But still, she won't blame him like this right now, for her situation. And she was strong enough to accept her faith not fast but lately for sure. She never dreamed of spending her life with someone who didn't want her in the first place or did not love her. If she knew that, she'd have canceled the wedding in the first spot.

"Because I was a Coward Angela…"

"I felt guilty to hurt you by my choice. But trust me, Angela, I never thought I'd fall for another woman. But when I met her, I realized I had never been in love with you from the first day. Yes, we have known each other since childhood and there is a bonding between us. But it's all a family bond but not love which I misunderstood in college time. I got so comfortable around you that I thought, this is love. But No. I was wrong when I met my lover, I finally understood what real love feels like."

"You know whenever I'm with you, I tried to ignore my love for that girl but my heart always pulls me towards her. Which made me embarrassed but at the same time I wanted to tell you everything but I can't watch you hurt and that's why when my parents forced me to marry you I can't even tell you that I don't want this marriage anymore…I can't get the courage to tell you the truth…"

Angela slightly without moving, hearing him.

"That girl never made steps on me but I'm the one who is pulled by her. And when marriage day came, I realized I was making myself a fool. I can't forget her. My heart shattered every second when I remembered her tears to let me go because I can't take her side, I can't take our love side…" Erish eyes turned red while tears fell from there.

Angela was supposed to hurt these words but she didn't feel anything more but just listened to him as their past relationship.

"I'm sorry Angela for everything…" His voice was broken while Angela's eyelashes flickered. Her hands clenched on her dress corner.

While Erish continued.

"Angela, I know, now this does not matter to you because you fell in love with Eric." His words made her heart shocked as she met his eyes abruptly. As she wanted to deny his theory.

"You can't deny Angela…because the way I saw you today, I can see you are not the old one, I know it. You already changed and I know this change comes for Eric…"

"I don't know what you are saying!" She retreats her gaze from him awkwardly.

"Angela, the way you watch Eric in the wardroom, this is the same way I looked at her when she left me because of my foolishness…" Erish words made Angela more uneasy in her heart. Because she's not ready enough to tell everyone about her feelings for Eric.

"You are thinking wrong…" Her eyes got tears but she hid them from him.

"Angela, I want to confess that I knew Eric had feelings for you before you…" Hearing his confession, her eyes turned to see him while her face turned serious.

"What do you mean by that?" She thought that except for Eric's parents, no one knew about it. But she got it wrong, Erish even knows about that. She's the only one who never got that point.

"Yes, you are hearing right. I got to know that truth and more importantly, he was in love with you, even before me…"

"Did Eric…" Angela hesitantly wanted to ask if Eric told his brother about his love for her.

Erish understood her words and replied before letting her complete her words," No! He never told me anything. And I came to know this truth only after he left the city for further study…"

Angela got curious to know more. While Erish continued with his words.

"One day, I was searching for some books in his room and finally got his personal diary where he writes all about you. He even made your sketch on every page…"

Angela felt her heart fill with ache at this moment and tears started running on her cheeks without caring about Erish who looked at her expression.
