Chapter 54: Chapter 54
Emma was in a fender bender situation...
The driver of the other car was angry and wouldn't listen to anything the girls said. Not even when they assured him they will be responsible for the cost of repairs to the damages done to his car. He wasn't having it. He just kept on shouting, attracting unnecessary attention to them.
"What's going on here!?" A very familiar voice suddenly said behind Emma, immediately freezing her in place.
'What the fuck is he doing here?' She wondered to herself as her heart started beating wildly out of excitement. Why did he have to pass this particular road today of all days?'
When Mama Silver informed her they would be getting married to each other, she wondered what she would say to him when they finally meet. And now, many hours later, she still had no idea of what to say to him...
So she took a deep breath, plastered a bright smile on her face, and turned around, deciding just then to take it as it comes...

Omolade was greatly shocked when she walked in on her fiance in bed with another woman. It hurts to see how he was really enjoying the sex. It hurts to hear how he was grunting and she was moaning as they both romped together.
He wasn't even aware of her entrance. It was the thud sound her bag made when it fell from her flaccid fingers that alerted him of her presence.
Now it was his turn to be greatly shocked. He was so shocked to the extent of being frozen in place. He couldn't even pull his dick out of the girl he was fucking. He felt guilty and ashamed of himself.
How would he explain himself out of this? How would he face her family when they've only loved and accepted him, a nobody into their midst.
Omolade looked at him with pain in her eyes and quietly left his apartment... By the time he got his clothes on and went after her, she was nowhere around. He ran up and then down the quiet street, hoping to see her waiting for a cab or something... But nothing.
The weather had changed, the sky was now heavy with rain. He noticed she left her bag behind. 'How would she manage without her phone and no money on her?' He worriedly wondered with guilt, as he rushed back inside to get his car key.
The sky that was heavy with rain before had begun to drizzled but Omolade didn't notice. People rushed past her to their various homes or to find a temporary shelter from the rain that had gradually turned heavy and poured down in torrents.
Omolade just kept walking aimlessly and crying. She was heartbroken and it really hurt so bad...
'But we spoke this afternoon and he said he loves me! How could he do this to me when I've only loved and respected him!? What exactly do men want? Relationship of two years!... I'm thirty-five years old now, where do I start from?' She thought painfully and cried hard. This level of deceit and betrayal was beyond her comprehension.

Akin wanted out of the black fraternity and was prepared to do anything humanly possible to get out of the oath his father forced him to take... But does anything humanly possible include taking a life?.... He has never killed before, but he knew the day would come when Olori (the fraternity head) would ask him to kill an enemy in order to prove his loyalty.
He glanced at the envelope that was handed to him by the black fraternity's messenger of death. The messenger of death was usually sent by the fraternity head to either kill a member who's going astray or ask them to redeem their life with another life.
'Whose life do they require for him to be able to leave the rest of his life in peace?' Akin wondered, staring at the unopened envelope with a heavy heart. He directed his gaze back to the road and he instantly stepped hard on the break.
''What the fuck is that!?'' He wondered aloud, cleaning the windshield with his hand to be able to see clearly through it.
His headlight illuminated a lone female figure, walking with shoulders hunched to braced the impact of the rain.
'Is she crazy!? Why walk in the middle of the road, I could have killed her for goodness sake!? Akin wondered angrily to himself and blared his horn very hard.
But instead, of the figure moving to the side of the road, it just stopped... Omolade fell in a faint.

Olori... The head of The Black Fraternity. A master of disguise that changes its form like a chameleon. Nobody knows this person's history or how long it has walked the earth. Nobody knows what it looks like if it's a child, a man, or a woman.
No one could trace Olori's whereabouts as it neither travel by road, sea nor air. It just appears and disappears at will. Olori is considered the most powerful witch /wizard of this generation and many generations before... There's none as powerful as Olori. So it's professed and so does the Black fraternity believed.
But only Olori knew the truth. It used Makinde to it's advantage but Makinde failed. Now Makinde's son would continue where his father failed or he would die trying as his father did.
Olori felt a power growing in the camp of Oracle, Aderinsola, and Mama Silver... And he had to nip the bud before it grew out of hand...
