I batted my lashes. She is laughing at me. I groaned. She wouldn't stop laughing so I glared at her and she chuckled. I rolled my eyes. She doesn't seem to fear me anymore. I think I like that. I like the new her. I rolled my eyes. I should stop thinking about Elmira, and tackle the issue at hand. "Did you see what you've caused, mom?. Elmira now laughs at me". Mom rolled her eyes but said nothing. "But mom, planning a wedding without my consent isn't fair"

Mom chuckled. "Life isn't fair, dear". The elders were laughing too but when I looked at them, they changed their facial look. I groaned and stood up. "And where are you going?"

I rolled my eyes. "As you can see, mom, I'm leaving"

Mom furrowed her brows. "We haven't finished our discussion"

I groaned. "Just do whatever you please, ok?. It isn't like you called me into the discussion in the first place".

Mom chuckled. "I'm doing what's best for you. And you know that"

"You're doing what's best for you nor me" I mumbled.

"What did you say?" Mom asked. I ignored her and stomped out of the hall, not because I'm angry though but because I'm still surprised that Elmira could laugh at me without fear.

I went to my room and was about to lock the door when I saw Elmira standing by the door and staring at me. I batted my lashes. What's she doing here?. "Did you miss your way?"

She rolled her eyes and walked past me. She sat on the couch. "I wished I did"

I blinked my eyes rapidly. Did she just say that? "You said what?"

She chuckled. "You see, we're getting married soon and I will be living with you and will have to put up with you, whether I like it or not. So I thought, why should I fear him?. After all, I'm going to be his Luna". She stared at me and smiled. "I shouldn't fear you right?". I stared at her in shock. She smiled. "You're shock right?. I'm also shocked I'm talking to you right now. You know why I can't fear you anymore?". I rolled my eyes. "I can read your mind and feel your heartbeat. So I can tell factually everything you think. Like planning to run away before the full moon"

I groaned. "You ain't suppose to listen to my thought!!"

"I couldn't help it. And you never made it easier for me"

I scoffed. "How dare you!!"

"Hey stop yelling. I'm the future Luna here. You won't want others treating me the way you're treating me". I batted my lashes. This girl has got guts!. She chuckled. "Oh, yes I have. You taught me to have guts, Damien. Every time you treat me bad, to you it's been heartless but to me, it's a way of getting better". I widened my eyes. "You don't have to be surprised, Damien"

I groaned. "You don't call me by my name!!"

"And what name does a Luna call her Alpha?"

I hissed. "You ain't my Luna yet"

She stood up. "I'll be in two days. You'd better get used to it"

I rolled my eyes. This isn't Elmira talking, my mom has fed her with so many words. "My mom sent you to say all this, right?"

She shook her head. "No, I'm saying every word because I want too"

I groaned. "Now, listen to me. My mom and the pack members are the ones that want you as their Luna, not me"

She chuckled. "That isn't what your heart wants, Damien. You want me more than I want you". I batted my lashes. She stood up and stood beside me."You can't help it, Damien. You can't resist me for long, no matter how long you try. You will want me every day of your life". She placed her hand on my face and I groaned. Is she trying to seduce me?. "I"m not seducing you, Damien. I just want you to know how much you need me"

I noticed her hands were trembling but she was trying to hide them. "Elmira, you don't want this. Don't let my mom push you"

She chuckled nervously. "I wish I could. But I can't. Do you know what your mother has done for me? No, you don't"

I groaned. "Elmira, don't..."

"Enough, ok?. I will just leave". I chuckled but quickly hid it. That's a perfect decision". She glared at me and I looked away. After she left the room, I breathe a sigh of relief.

"Phew, that's a narrow escape" I muttered. I can't believe mom sent her to seduce me. The door opened and she popped her head in. I froze. Don't tell me she coming back?

"I heard that" she answered. I groaned. I can't even think in peace. I have to be careful with what I think. She stared at me and finally closed the door. "Shit" I cursed. This will be so difficult.

I packed my bags, ready for my journey. Tomorrow will be the full moon. I have to leave before mom noticed. I'll be skipping my supposed wedding too. I still can't believe mom wants me to get married to Elmira. I couldn't get angry with any of them either. It was like my heart wants it but my body, hell no!. The door opened and mom walked in. "Running away?". I hissed.  Elmira told her. "Who runs away on his wedding day?"

I groaned. "I don't want to get married to her!!"

"Your heart isn't saying that"

I hissed. "I..."

"You can run away for all I care but that will be after the wedding"

I groaned. "No wedding"

She chuckled. "Well, the wedding starts in an hour. You'd better get ready"

My eyes widened. "What? One hour?. Why will you do that?"

"You won't want to keep your pack members waiting" she answered, ignoring my question

I rolled my eyes. I've stuck!!. I pushed my bag aside and sat down on the bed. I brushed my hair backward. "Mom, can't we just push the wedding a bit?"

She rolled her eyes. "No"

"Mom?". She ignored me. "Gary will be here to help you get ready". I made to punch the wall. "Don't get your hands dirty"

I hissed. Mom was so happy when she left. To her, she has successfully gotten me to do her will. I rolled my eyes and stood up. I had better get ready for my supposed wedding. I'm supposed to be happy right?. But right now, what I feel is intense anger!!. Gary walked in to help me, get prepare. I kept groaning and mumbling but no one was there to hear me out. I don't want to get married. Why can't they understand that?. When I was done getting dressed, I was escorted to the hall.

Seeing Elmira walked down the aisle made me had a change of mind not to want to get married. My anger melted away immediately. Who wouldn't be?. Her beauty is irresistible. Her face was shining like the sun. I smiled. It isn't a bad idea, getting married to her. Her wedding gown was looking so beautiful, also. The way her hair was packed, I can't even explain how I feel right now. She walked closer to me and we made our vows. For the first time, I said every word in the vow from my heart. I can't believe I could be that gentle and sincere. When it was time to kiss the bride, I rolled my eyes. Are they for real?. "Come on, kiss her" mom whispered. I rolled my eyes. I rolled my eyes. I can't do that. I don't even know how to kiss. I was still thinking about how to do it when I felt her lips on mine.

My eyes widened. Did she just kiss me!!?. "You won't want to miss this for anything," my subconscious mind said. I rolled my eyes. Maybe it's right. I decided to enjoy the moment and kiss her back. Our lips worked magic. I finally pulled away from her. She looked away shyly and Maya screamed. I rolled my eyes. It was the best kiss I ever had. "it isn't like you've kissed before" my subconscious mind said

I hissed. Like I care!!. What happened after the kiss, I couldn't tell. I never knew I had been staring at Elmira for long until they announced the wedding was over. I batted my lashes. "What?!!"
