Chapter 25: Chapter 25

I batted my lashes. "What did you say?"

She hissed. "You heard me. I reject you!!. I reject you, Damien Walker!!" She yelled

I rolled my eyes. "You can't reject me. You can't. I'm the Alpha here. I get whatever thing I want!!"

She hissed. "I'm not whatever thing ok?. You can't have me"

I groaned. "I can and I'll!!"

She laughed. "You will never have me. Never!!"

I hissed. "You're just so stubborn for my liking!!"

She hissed. "You're cold-hearted for my liking too" she mumbled those words but I could hear her. I furrowed my brows.

"What did you say?". She rolled her eyes but said nothing. "What did you just say?!!!". My eyes were changing already. "Don't let me repeat myself!!"

"Do you want to hurt me? Huh?" She asked

I was startled by her words. Did she just say that?. This girl is building up some courage. "Do you now talk back at me?". She batted her lashes but said nothing. "I'm talking to you!!"

"Stop yelling at me, ok?. I'm not answerable to you"

I moved backward, turned away from her, and then punched the wall. My anger was building up again. I faced her. "You're yelling at me?. You dare yell at me?"

"I'll keep yelling. What will you do? Hurt me like you always do?". I was moved by her words.

Hurt her like I always do?. "What are you saying?"

She hissed. "You're a beast and I hate you for that!!". She walked out of the room. For the first time, I felt sober. I can't believe she's been seeing me as a beast?. How come she kept it away from her sister?. And painted me as a good person!!. I brushed my hair backward. "Ahh!"

The door opened and Maya walked in. "Are you ok, Damien?"

I groaned and bend my head downward. "Maya leave, I'm not in a good mood"

She walked closer to me. "I know. Do you fight with my sister?. I thought you agreed to let her be". I raised my head. She saw my eyes and she flinched. "This isn't good". She stood up. "I think I'll leave and come back when you're good"

She made to leave. "She rejected me"

She moved backward. "Who?. Elmira?". I nodded. She chuckled and I glared at her. "Sorry" she cooed. She sat beside me. "I knew it. I knew something was wrong". I rolled my eyes. "Tell me how did it happen?"

I sighed. "I can't give details"

"Come on, Damien"

I sighed. "She called me a beast!!"

"She did?"

I groaned and hit the wall beside me and it had a crack. My hand bleeds but I don't care!!.  I hate to remember she called me that. I made to hit it again but Maya stopped me.

"Easy. You won't want to bring down this building"

I closed my eyes and opened them. I groaned. "Ahh!"

"Calm your nerves down. Damien"

I hissed. "She called me a beast. Am I a beast?. Do I look like one?"

"Damien"

"She did not only rejected me, but she also called me a beast!!"

She sighed. "Damien, I know you're angry right now, but I want you to understand that you shouldn't have expected her to accept you. You rejected her first". I rolled my eyes.

"That doesn't mean she should call me a beast"

She smiled. "You see Damien, calling you a beast doesn't mean you're a beast. I could tell you she doesn't mean it too. You must have hurt her so much, for her to have said that". I groaned. "You shouldn't get angry ok?". I rolled my eyes. "I know Elmira loves you". I hissed and stood up. Like I care!!. "Where are you going to?"

"To feed"

She stood up. "I'll go with you"

"Nah"

"Come on, Damien. I know you too well. You might end up hurting people. I can't let you go out alone. I'll go with you"

I hissed. "Maya stay back. I won't hurt anyone"

"No, I won't stay back. I can't"

I hissed. This girl is so difficult to convince. "Ok, you can go with me. But don't say any word"

She nodded. "Promised"

I rolled my eyes. "Is that a promise?"

She chuckled. "Of course, it is"

I sighed. "We should leave then"

She chuckled. "Yes boss"

The news of Elmira rejecting me had traveled so fast. I still wonder who spread the news. Some think it's fair she rejected me because of my attribute. They said I do not deserve a beautiful and meek person like her. Others think it isn't nice for her to do that. They didn't say them to my hearing though but I still found out about it. I was too busy nursing the fact that she called me a beast to have time to punish them for poking their noses into my personal affair. The news didn't stay in Island pack alone. It went as far as the vampires' territory.

Mom had to visit me. She said she came to sympathize with me. I don't know how she found out about Elmira's rejection. Maybe it's Elmira or Maya. Or she heard from the rest. She sat on the bed while I lay on the couch. "What is the next step, now that she has rejected you?"

I groaned. Can't I have a peaceful life? "I don't have any plan, mother"

"Ain't you going to press further?"

I furrowed my brows. Is she kidding me?. I sat up. "For what?"

She hissed. "You're supposed to keep pressurizing her. That will make her know, how serious you are with her"

Serious with her?. I laughed. "You're joking right?"

She groaned. "I'm been serious here. You're supposed to pre..."

"Mom, I never wanted her in the first place. You forced me into taking her back and I got rejected. Isn't that enough sign that we ain't meant to be?"

She hissed. "What do you know?. I rejected your father four times and he kept pressurizing me until I said yes. If he had backout, you won't be existing"

I rolled my eyes. "The last time I checked, you both weren't forced on each other. You loved each other. Even though your parents weren't in support. That's something"

"You should be happy we are in support"

I hissed. "In support?". I scoffed. "I'm sure if her parent were alive, they wouldn't have said yes to their child marrying a beast!!"

Mom furrowed her brows. "What are you talking about?"

I hissed. "She told you about rejecting me but forget to tell you she sees me as a beast?"

"She can't call you that"

I rolled my eyes. "Well, she did"

"You never treated her well, so I can't blame her"

"Supporting her as usual"

She chuckled. "You don't expect me to support you and leave my daughter-in-law"

I groaned. "She rejected me. Don't you get it?"

"I don't care about that. I don't know what you will do. I'm growing old, I need grandchildren"

My eyes widen. What's she talking about?.  "What are you saying?"

"That I want a grandchild"

I hissed. "She has rejected me. That is not going to be possible. And by the way, she's still in school"

She stood up. "I don't care. I want a grandchild. That's final"

I rolled my eyes. "You won't get any, mother". She glared at me and I groaned. "If you need one, tell her"

She chuckled. "And I will do just that". I furrowed my brows. "You know she won't say no to my request"

I groaned. "I don't want that"

"But I do and that's exactly what I'll do"

"Mom..."

"By the way, thanks for the advice"

"Mom!!". She left the room and I groaned. This is not going to be good!!.
