Chapter 179: Chapter 179

"NO! I DON’T WANNA leave! Are you kicking me out, Wonhee-ya?"

[Why is he acting like a child?]

Yejun was kneeling on the floor while hugging a pillow dramatically.

Wonhee wanted to ignore Yejun’s whining, but how could she do that when he was being this loud? "Yejun-ah, there’s no reason we should continue sleeping together when our mission is over. Of course, I’ll Guide you when you need it. But we don’t have to live together now." Tʜe sourcᴇ of thɪs content ɪs Novᴇl_Fire(.)net

Yejun looked like he wanted to complain, but he stopped and literally checked her out.

Shamelessly, at that.

It was probably because Wonhee was in her Pilates outfit: a sports bra and a pair of thigh-high leggings. She was aware that she was fit and that Yejun liked her bottoms, so she already expected that reaction from him.

She grabbed her oversized jacket and put it on.

[I can’t leave my Unnie’s house without a jacket because she thinks I’m still a baby.]

"You already got back your assets, don’t you?" Wonhee asked, raising an eyebrow at Yejun. "That means you have your house back. And your family is also here now. You should spend time with them."

Yejun finally stopped checking her out. "You’re looking for a new house, aren’t you?"

"Why? Are you going to live next to me?"

He just gave her an ’innocent’ smile.

"Forget it. I’m staying over Soobin Oppa’s house next."

"Then I’ll ask Soobin Hyung to let me stay over as a guest."

"Good luck with that."

Yejun groaned. "You’re so mean, Wonhee-ya."

Wonhee stood in front of Yejun, forcing him to look up since he was still kneeling on the floor. "Don’t you like it when I’m being mean?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Then she made a very stern face— acting like a bad woman as a preparation for her villainess role soon. "Do you want me to curse at you again, Hwang Yejun?"

Was that too much to say?

However, she didn’t have to worry for long.

Yejun gulped, his eyes darkened as if he was aroused. "If you changed your mind about going to your Pilates class today, then go ahead and curse at me, Wonhee-ya. We’re not leaving this room then."

Wonhee suddenly felt embarrassed.

Fortunately, a distraction came in the form of a phone call from Lee Seojin.

[He won’t call without a reason since he’s a careful boy.]

And, so, Wonhee immediately picked up the call. "Yes, Jin-ah?"

<"Chu Wonhee, it’s me.">

<"Please come to the hospital— Lee Seojin is in a critical condition, and he asked for you before he had a seizure.">

Wonhee felt a chill down her spine.

[Seizure doesn’t usually happen during a person’s awakening period...]

"I understand, Seorin-ssi," Wonhee said, nodding. "I’ll be there."

"WHY are you the one who picked me up?" Yool asked in a tired voice, sighing. "I thought you’d send Miss Dawn."

Song Moonho, who was driving the car, smiled innocently. "Whatever do you mean by that, Yool-ah?"

"You said you’d send the strongest Hunter from the Autumn Guild, so I assume you’d send Miss Dawn since she’s your protégé."

"But I’m the strongest Hunter of my guild?"

"Well, my bad for not including you in the equation. Think for a moment, Ahjussi. You’re the Guildmaster of the Autumn Guild— one of the famous Four Seasons Guilds. Why would you accompany someone who’s just attending church?"

"Because you’re not a random person to me, Yool-ah."

Yool just kept her mouth shut because he didn’t want to give Song Moonho the opportunity to flirt with him again.

Fortunately, they arrived at the church soon.

Yool was confused when he saw people flocking at the entrance of the church.

[Why are the Special Forces here?]

The Special Forces Agents were blocking the way and preventing the Civilians from entering the church.

Yool immediately recognized Captain Lee Jiho of the Special Forces (Cracks Division).

And the captain also spotted them right away.

[More like Captain Lee spotted Song Moonho. Cause he wouldn’t? Ahjusii is tall, handsome, and well-built... I should really stop lusting after this old man.]

"Hunter Song Moonho, we were just about to contact you."

"Why?" Song Moonho asked in a calm yet chilly tone. "What happened?"

Captain Lee Jiho gulped as if he was nervous. "Please follow me."

"Can I come with you?" Yool said, grabbing Song Moonho by the arm. "Please."

Captain Lee Jiho immediately shook his head. "I’m sorry, sir, but Civilians aren’t allowed to—"

"He’s coming with me," Song Moonho said firmly, removing Yool hand’s from his arm only to hold it. The old man even intertwined their hands together. "Let’s go."

Ahjussi didn’t even wait for the captain’s response.

Yool let Song Moonho pull him and drag him to the church.

The Civilians and the Special Forces Agents immediately made way for them— trembling in fear.

After all, everyone could tell that Song Moonho was in a sour mood.

[And upset S-Class Hunters exude a scary aura that pushes everyone away.]

It was a miracle that Yool wasn’t affected by that.

The young idol was getting blocked by the Special Forces Agents.

Yool just gave Maru a small smile.

He didn’t have to greet his idol because Captain Lee Jiho ordered his agents to open the heavy double doors of the church.

And then Song Moonho pulled Yool inside.

That was when they saw it.

Song Sunho— covered in blood— was crucified and hanged on the wall of the church.

[And he’s dead, I think?]

Yool’s train of thought was interrupted when Song Moonho suddenly dropped his hand.

"Gong Yool, I’ll give you thirty seconds to get out of here," Song Moonho said in a cold voice, a dark miasma oozing from his feet and climbing up his legs. "If you want to save those people outside the church, then I’ll give you all a minute to run away as far as you can."

AHYEON was guarding outside Lee Seojin’s hospital room where Wonhee and Hwang Frost had gone when he received a phone call from Yool.

Since his hyung’s calls were always a priority, he picked them up all the time.

[Wony Noona told me to do so even if I was in the middle of work.]

<"Ahyeonnie, Wony isn’t picking up my call. Is she with you?">

"Noona is checking on Lee Seojin’s condition, Hyung," Ahyeon said worriedly. He was worried because Yool’s voice sounded urgent. "What happened?"

<"Song Moonho just snapped and went on a rampage!">
