Twenty two

Karin immediately broke free and pushed Matthew away.

"This all happened because of your fault. Why push like that? So it's your duty to help me," said Karin.

"Unless you want people to say that an artist has harmed his assistant," Karin continued.

"You're getting bolder with me," said Matthew, walking closer. Karin stepped back. However, Matthew immediately grabbed that girl's hand.

"Where are you going?" scold that man.

"I'm hungry, make some food for me!"

Matthew then let go of Karin's hand. He walked over and sat on a chair in the center of the room. Karin herself headed to the kitchen. She was stunned when she opened the refrigerator and saw that there were so many contents.

"What do you want to eat?" Karin asked.

"Whatever, whatever you make, I will definitely eat it."

"Okay," said Karin who was taking the meat and eggs.

"Do you need my help?" Matthew asked, walking towards the kitchen.

"No, you just wait out front. The food will be ready soon," said Karin, who was chopping tomatoes. After that, Karin then took the flour in the bag that was still tightly closed and intended to open it.

"Here, let me open it," said Matthew as he was about to take the flour packet from Karin's hand.

"No need, I can do it," said Karin while still trying to open the package.

"You just wait outside."

"I will do it!" said Matthew, who was about to take the package from Karin's hands.

"No need...." Karin's words were not finished when the package was torn apart and the contents scattered on her and Matthew.

Matthew laughed, pointing at Karin's powdery white face, hair and clothes. Karin also laughed when she saw Matthew who was also covered in flour.

"When I'm with you, there's always something going on," Matthew said later. He then helped Karin clean up the spilled flour. Even though Karin forbade him, he still insisted. Finally, Karin relented and let Matthew help clean up the spilled flour. After that, the man then said goodbye to change clothes.

Matthew walked with Karin to the restaurant. Because the previous meal was considered a failure by Matthew, they so dined at that restaurant.

"Order whatever you like," said Matthew as he handed Karin the menu.

"Oh yes, as my assistant, you also have to order food for me," said Matthew again.

Karin looked through the wide menu list.

"But I don't know what you like."

"Whatever you order, I'll eat it even if it's not good, because eating it while looking at you, everything will taste good," said Matthew with a smile.

"Come on, don't start flirting again," said Karin. Matthew was still smiling.

Not far from them, someone walked quickly over.

"Karin!" reprimand the person.

"What are you doing here?"

"Vian?" Karin said without being able to hide her surprise.

"I am ...."

"She's with me," said Matthew.

"From now on, she's mine."

Vian turned to look at Matthew with anger. His hand then grabbed the man's collar.

"Vian, stop it!" said Karin. She felt uneasy because then the guess turned to look at them.

"Vian!" scolded Cindy who immediately grabbed Vian's hand.

"Don't do this, especially for the sake of a girl like that!" said Cindy again, glancing sharply at Karin.

"A girl like you, how can you get Vian and Matthew's attention? These men are probably out of their minds," she said to Karin.

"Vian, don't do it," said Cindy again.

"If you do anything to Matthew, your reputation will be completely destroyed. You won't be able to come back again. After all, for a girl like her, would you sacrifice everything?" Cindy whispered.

Vian was silent for a moment. He then let go of his hand on Matthew's collar. He then turned to Karin and grabbed the girl's hand.

"Follow me!" he said as he took Karin away from there.

"Vian!" call Cindy. However, Vian didn't even turn his head, the man still went with Karin.

Cindy's face turned full of anger. Vian didn't even care if there were people in the restaurant and still chose to go with Karin.

"Don't be angry, sweetie, it's useless to be angry, he who is not yours, will never be yours," said Matthew with a smile.

"Vian is mine!" Cindy said as she glared at Matthew.

"You must have done this on purpose. Bringing the girl here. You yourself know this restaurant is Vian's subscription. After all, if you were really going to make the girl yours, you wouldn't be sitting quietly here. You purposely made trouble with Vian," She accused then. Matthew laughed at Cindy's words.

"I know this is a fine restaurant

I wanted with Karin, so i didn't expect Vian to appear in this place now. My problem for stay here, because I never chase girls, always girls chase me," said Matthew.

"And I've almost succeeded. I could almost make Vian mine," growled Cindy. Matthew laughed even harder.

"You almost managed to make him yours? I think you still failed. If you almost managed to make him yours, right now he wouldn't choose to go with Karin."

Cindy was silent hearing that. Annoyance welled up inside her because of the truth of Matthew's words that she couldn't deny.

"Vian, Vian, let go of me, let go of my hand now!" said Karin who was just being dragged away by Vian.

In a quiet place, Vian stopped walking and turned to glare at Karin. He also released a hold on Karin. The girl immediately stroked her wrist which looked red with finger marks clearly visible there.

"Why are you so stubborn? I told you, Silvi also told you, Matthew is not a good man. Now you choose to be with him," Vian snapped in a voice full of anger.

"Why are you always trying to control me? I can take care of myself. Matthew isn't as bad as you think, he always helps me," Karin said.

"It was just a trick. Actually he wants to make you his girl. Don't be fooled by his good-natured attitude!"

Karin shook her head and stared fixedly at Vian.

"I don't understand. If he want to make me his girlfriend, why? That's my business with him. You are my friend, but you have no right to interfere."

Vian was stunned and stared at Karin. However Karin's words are true, he is indeed close to the girl, but he can't stop her from being close to another man because Karin is not his lover.

"Are you guys done talking?" Matthew asked, walking over to him.

"I was looking for you guys. When you're done, can I take my girl back?"

Vian was silent. Matthew then took Karin's hand and get the girl away from there.
