Chapter 29: Chapter 29
Ella smiled while watching Blaze lay his head on her lap. She brushed his soft hair and pinched her cheeks. She could still remember what happened on that day. When her grandfather was shot to his back.

"Granddaddy!" Ella shouted and helped her grandfather. A reinforcement from a neighboring pack arrived and pushed back the hunters that obtained damages and deaths. They hurriedly retreated, seeing they don't stand a chance with the numbers of werewolves came.
"Are you okay?" Lemuel managed to ask his grandchild. Ella nodded her head while tears were pouring into her eyes. Elisa went to their side and lay Lemuel's head on her lap, and she was crying too.
"I'm sorry. I used you for the hunters' goal," Lemuel said while struggling to breathe. Ella shakes her head. She had already forgiven her grandfather. She doesn't know his reason for that, but she was thankful that he saved her from a bullet about to hit her.
"Granddaddy, you are going to live," Ella said and held his hand. Lemuel smiled when he saw Mikael behind his grandchild.
"I'm sorry for the pain I caused you, Mikael," Lemuel said. Blaze, who transformed back to his human form, called Caleb.
"Call the pack doctor, now!" he ordered. The pack doctor arrived, and they brought Lemuel back to the packhouse to heal him. Blaze's pack suffered a loss. They counted ten dead pack members, and another fifteen were injured. The hunters never returned, and Blaze took the matter to the Council and dealt with the remaining hunters alive and wounded.

"Are you ready?" Blaze asked and kissed her hand. Ella smiled and nodded her head. Four years had already passed, and her grandfather survived, but he spent his days getting better to the Council's prison to pay for his sins.
"Thank you for saying yes to me," Blaze said. Ella chuckled; it's been a year since Blaze proposed to her, but she kept hearing those words from him.
"How could I say no? When you're this handsome," Ella said. She actually has another surprise for Blaze.
"Will your granddaddy be able to attend the wedding?" Blaze asked. Ella wondered; they visited him in prison and requested to the Council so Lemuel could attend the wedding, and they haven't received any reply yet.
"I don't know, but I wished he could," Ella said.
"How about Mikael?" Blaze asked. Mikael and Gwyneth had reconciled, and now, they're traveling around the world with their daughter Xylene.
"I told him that he should come or else I will kick the two of them from the pack," Ella said. It was a harmless threat, but she knows Mikael would certainly come because she made Gwyneth her maid of honor.
"Anyway, I have something to give you," Ella said and smiled. Blaze sat up and looked at her.
"What!? I haven't prepared anything from you yet!" Blaze said while pouting his lips. Ella chuckled and kissed Blaze on the cheeks; she took out something from her pocket and pulled Blaze's hand. Ella put the pregnancy test with two-lines on his palm. Blaze looked confused at first, but he suddenly jumped while shouting 'yes' repeatedly.
"Am I going to be a Dad!?" Blaze asked. Ella nodded her head. He carried her gently in his arms and showered her with little kisses.
"You are amazing! I love you!" Blaze said. Ella laughed and wrapped her arms around Blaze's neck. She glanced at his lips and leaned closed. When their lips touched, it's the same feeling she had years ago. The sparks and the fluttering of butterflies in her stomach were still there. It didn't change a bit. Blaze kissed her back and gently put her on the bed. He went on top of her, even kissing her senseless. He bit her lower lip so he could gain access inside. Ella couldn't help but moan to the fantastic sensation she's feeling.
"I love you," Ella whispered when she felt Blaze kissed her mark. Blaze sucked her neck and gently licked it, creating a red dot. Blaze kissed her forehead and lay beside her.
"I couldn't believe it," Blaze whispered. He couldn't believe he's going to be a father. Ella turned to him and traced his face with her finger. She really likes how long Blaze's lashes were and his eyes that could pull you into the depth. His nose and jaw were to kill for. Ella liked everything about him. She wished their son or daughter would inherit Blaze's gorgeousness.
"What do you want? A boy or a girl?" Ella asked. Blaze pulled her closed to him and hugged her.
"I like a girl. A mini version of you," he said. Ella smiled and buried her head on his chest. "I like a boy. He would inherit your handsome face," Ella said and giggled.
"But either way's fine with me. I hope that they grow healthy," Blaze said. Ella mumbled something and closed her eyes, drifting into a peaceful sleep.
Morning came, and the house was in chaos. They were so many people prancing back and forth. The maids helped Ella put on her beige-colored gown. Today is their wedding day. Ella smiled nervously while the make-up artist began.
"Don't worry, Ma'am. I'll make you the most beautiful bride," the woman said. Ella smiled at her; it took hours until she finished everything. Elisa sat on the bed while watching her daughter. She cried a little but quickly wiped it away. Elisa doesn't want her daughter to see her cry.
"You are beautiful, my baby," Elisa said. Ella turned her head and smiled, showing her pearly white teeth.
"Thank you, Mom," Ella said. Suddenly, the burst opened, and her grandfather went inside, carrying a box with him. Elisa pushed the wheelchair until it stopped in front of Ella.
"Take this," Lemuel said. Ella took the box and opened it, seeing a golden tiara. "It's from your grandmother. It should be your mother's, but it's yours now," he added. Ella smiled and hugged her grandfather.
"Thank you, granddaddy. This is wonderful," Ella said. Elisa put the tiara on her hair and smiled.
"Let's go," Elisa said. The three went out of the room together. Ella picked an outdoor wedding. When she saw the design, she gasped. It was beautiful. People gather at the side while she walked down the aisle with her family. Blaze was waiting in front, smiling widely. Elisa handed her daughter to Blaze while crying.
"Love her with all of your heart," she said. "Yes, Mom. I will," Blaze said.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, the joining of two hearts and to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes to the words which shall unite this couple in marriage," the Priest said. It's because Ella's a human that they picked a priest to do the wedding.
"Who presents this man and woman to be married to each other?" Priest "I do," Ella's mother and Blaze's parents said in unison.
"Blaze Matthew Reese, do you take Ella Merlyn Scott to be your wife?" the Priest asked. Blaze looked at Ella and smiled.
"I do."
"Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect her?" said the Priest. "I do," Blaze answered and kissed the back of Ella's hand.
"Ella Merlyn Scott, do you take Blaze Matthew Reese to be your husband?" Priest "I do," Ella said and smiled.
"Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him?" Priest
"I do," she answered once again. Blaze turned his body to her mate, readying his vow. "Ella, I'm sorry for being a jerk when I first met you. I just couldn't admit that I fell head over
heels for you," Blaze said while the crowd chuckled. "Thank you for accepting me for who I am, for loving me dearly. I promised to love and cherish you today and forever. I will never hurt you, and I will make sure that you are happy with me…with our baby. You are the light in this dull world of mine. I love you," he ended his vow and cried. Ella was sobbing, and Blaze wiped the tears from her eyes. She breathed deeply and composed herself.
"Blaze, I thanked you for bumping me that day," Ella said, and the crowd laughed again. "You were the sole reason why I overcame the pain of a broken heart. I was devastated, a pure mess when I met you, but you kept following me. I've grown accustomed to your presence ever since that day. Thank you for being patient with me as I heal. Thank you for protecting me every day. I will love you today and forever. You and our child are my life, my everything. I love you," she ended the vow, and both of them were crying.
"By the power vested in me, I pronounce you as husband and wife. Blaze, you may now kiss your wife," the Priest said. Blaze cupped Ella's face and gently captured her lips with her.
"To eternity," Blaze whispered.
"To eternity," Ella replied and rested her forehead with his. One chapter of her life closed but another opened. This time, she will be living happily with the family she built. This is Ella's story, the human girl who fell in love with Blaze, a werewolf.
