'Okay, I know reaching elite level one at level five unlocked skill upgrade points for me and that's what's special about it, but what is special about elite level two?'

'Nice, they're just skill upgrade points then.' He said subconsciously.

After listening, he further confirmed that what he was talking about had nothing to do with him, he was talking to the forwards and midfielders about something.

The flight back to Unique City didn't take long and after getting to the stadium, the players said their goodbyes before they got into their cars and began to make their way home.

That massive victory against Spree City meant that they wouldn't be leaving the top three spot anytime soon and if any of the two above them should make a mistake of dropping points, they were going to move above them, that applied mostly to Dynamo FC who were ahead of them with just a point, the Uniques even had the better goal difference.

While there wasn't going to be any Bilbeth Premier League match until Sunday, Unique FC were going to be hosting FC Basel on Saturday for the second leg of the Europa conference League qualifiers, a match they were all looking forward to, especially Dave.

Dave was still driving home but he was a bit worried as he had been trying to get a call through to Emma but she didn't seem to be picking up.

"I hope she's okay." He muttered with his gaze on the road.

'Sleeping on the couch? How do you even know that?'

'Oh, I see, you have access to her phone too.'

'Wow, so you can spy on anybody I call.'

'No, no, I would never.'

It didn't take him long to get home and after parking his car in its usual spot, he made his way to the door and unlocked it with his key before making his way inside.

"She really is on the couch." He muttered as soon he turned his gaze to the couch to see that she really was there.

'Yeah, and that's a good thing.'

He made his way to the freezer in the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of chilled water before he slowly made his way to the couch to sit beside her.

He took down more than half of the content inside the bottle before he dropped it on the table and turned his gaze to her.

"You look really pretty when you're asleep." He said after leaning closer to her.

"You think?" She muttered with a frail voice before slowly opening her eyes.

"Oh, you're awake, do you need me to get anything? I heard you had to cancel your trip to Spree because you were starting to feel nauseous again."

"Oh, don't worry about that, I'm okay now, and as for needing anything, I think this is enough." She smiled.

Before he could say anything, she quickly pulled his face down toward hers for a kiss, she was a bit rough with that.

'What the heck is going on?'

The goalkeeper was quite confused by her sudden action and had to pull back from her after a little while.

"What's wrong?" She asked before quickly sitting up on the couch.

"No, nothing's wrong, but are you sure about this? You've been avoiding this for a while now since you found out you were pregnant."

"I know and that's because all the throwing up makes me feel weird but I feel different today." She said before leaning closer to him and now he could feel her warm breath on his neck.

'Yeah, like I would believe that.'

"Yeah." She replied before she placed her hands on his chest and looked up to meet his gaze.

"Well, then, it's a good thing you're feeling different today." He said before pressing his lips against hers and partially stopping her from breathing.

With each opening she got, she let out heavy breaths and when Dave finally pulled back, she crashed to the couch breathing heavily.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Are you kidding me? I am more than okay." She said in between her breathing before pulling him down on her body.
