"You guys did your best today, especially in midfield but the defense had a few leaks that slowly turned to holes in the last minutes of the match, if it wasn't for Dave, they would have beaten us like they've always done in the past." Norman expressed before turning to face the exit. "I thought I was starting to fix it but it looks like our defense has to go under renovation."

"What does he mean by renovation?" Mateo said as soon as he left the room.

"Get new defenders, maybe," Dave muttered.

'You've been observing, huh?'

'Seriously? You know all that?'

'All that running must have caused it.'

'I didn't know my pace could improve without me having to add any stat points to my dexterity.'

'Oh, I get it now, training and improving physically and improving with the stat points the system offers me are two different things but the stats correspond well in making me better.'

'Yeah, it all makes sense now.' He replied. 'With the way I've improved, I never knew Mateo was faster than me.'

'I see, what about shooting power?'

'That's nice, I guess he doesn't need an enormous amount of shots to finish with the way he plays.'

'So, I have a shooting power of ninety-four, who has more?' He inquired.

'It's funny to think the player with the most explosive shooting power in the team is the goalkeeper who rarely ever gets involved in the attack but you used the word 'currently' so, what's up?'

'Really? Who are they?'

'If Fred Miles is that close to me, doesn't that mean that he can score from the goalpost too?'

'Oh, I see.' The goalkeeper replied. 'What about the fastest, who's the fastest player in the squad? I mean just tell me the top five fastest players in the team.'

'Of course, he's really fast when he breaks free with the ball.'

'So, who sits at the top in that category?'

'I know, what about the other players?'

'Wow, Catherine, you're really something else, you told me the stats of my teammates, I never knew you could do that.'

The training session had been shifted to the evening and right now, Mateo and Dave were both lying on their beds thinking of what their move was going to be for the day.

"I want to go train for a little while but I wish at least four more of them would agree to come with us." The goalkeeper muttered.

"You do know that most of them have already gone out and the few that are left are probably playing video games," Mateo said.

"Yeah, the coach told us to rest and have fun today and that's what they're doing but I don't really feel like doing anything relaxing today." The goalkeeper said.

"Same here, I didn't even get up to thirty minutes of playing time."

"I see you're still pretty upset about that but the coach was just making sure you don't get injured like Merino who has one week left before he recovers fully."

"I know that, I just wish coach had brought me on earlier like in the sixty-fifth minute." The winger said.

"Don't worry, we'll meet them twice in the league and the super cup maybe, you'll probably start in those matches ."

The winger heard the notification sound from his phone and quickly picked it up to see that it was a message from someone.

After reading the message which was a brief one, he turned his gaze back to Dave.

"Hey, since our teammates don't want to train, how about we go somewhere with people who want to train?" The winger asked.

"Are you talking about the place Sofia took us to the other day?" Dave asked.

"Yeah," Mateo replied.

"So, that message was from her, right?"

The winger responded with a nod and an awkward smile on his face.
