Chapter 5: Chapter 5
Who is this HonneyDead3541? Why is this person sending me a picture of Kez with another guy?
Maybe I should reply to this person and ask who they are.
I press Reply.
Who are you?
I can’t think of anything else to send.
Was Kez really cheating on me?
I hear a loud honking. It is Jack, Of course.
I peek through my window and motion my hand to make him stop.
I get down and open my door. He is smiling so wide that my lips hurt.
“What the hell, dude?” I ask him.
“Hey, hey. Calm down. Why did you leave the party? I searched you but people said you were gone”
“I wasn’t feeling well”
How can I? After seeing Kez with another guy when some girl that I don’t even know tells she was cheating on me?
“Ok, cool. But listen, I saw Ken on the road passed out and dude, she is drunk. Sure as hell, her parents would kill her and ground her for lifetime. As, your parents are out of town….” He stops and smirks.
I know what he means. He needs me to let her stay for this one night. And how did she even end up on the road fainted. Thank God. She is alive. And thanks to Jack.
“Ok. Fine but her parents will freak out if she doesn’t come home tonight”
“I Texted them from her phone telling that she is at Samara’s doing homework and wouldn’t come for the night. They must be thinking she texted”
Jack is one hell of a smart person when he needs to be.
“Well, thanks, Dude.”
“You’re welcome but I must leave or I am grounded for lifetime”
I get inside his car and pull Ken out. God, she is heavy. Jack drives away.
I take her inside and lay her on the couch.
I wake her up. She is like semi-conscious.
“Ken, do you need some water?”
She nods. I nod and bring her some water. She drinks it and hands me the glass.
“Do you miss her Charlie?” She asks me.
Of course I miss her. I miss her so much.
Just thinking about her not being alive makes me want to shut people from my life.
“Yeah” I reply her.
But she is already asleep. I wake her up again to make her go to bedroom. She can’t sleep on the couch.
“c’mon let’s get you to bed”
She stands but falls again on the couch. I take her arm and sling it against my shoulder.
She sees through the window by my side and stops walking.
“What?” I ask her.
“Nothing”
