Chapter 323 He Finally Brought Her Back

Peter and Isabella were not there. It was only the housekeeper Bob who dealt with Chloe Bowen.

Nick Cage and Veronica Parker presumed that such a scene was not suitable for the young children to see.

Chloe Bowen saw Nick Cage approaching together with Veronica Parker.

She could feel Nick Cage was displeased even from afar. But then, she knew that Veronica Parker and her six children were here so she had a little courage to come and visit them.

"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you not come here? What do you want people to think of you?" Nick Cage asked. Veronica Parker saw the rage on Nick Cage's eyes, like he was about to attack Chloe Bowen. She stood in between and just told Chloe Bowen, "You better leave now."

"I'm your real mother, Veronica!" Chloe Bowen responded.

"I've told you many times, I don't really care. It doesn't matter anymore." Veronica replied and tried to lead her away from the door. If it hadn't been for the fact that she was her own mother, she wouldn't have said a word and just let Nick Cage handle it!

Nick Cage still looked furious. He was full of hatred towards Chloe Bowen. "Why should I go?" Chloe Bowen shook off Veronica Parker's hand and decided to stay.

Veronica Parker's face started to look serious. She was frustrated that Chloe Bowen insisted on staying despite the angry look on Nick Cage's face. "I don't care about anybody anymore except you. You are my daughter. I must deal with everything as much as I could." Chloe Bowen added, and was unafraid of death.

The bodyguard came up and dragged Chloe Bowen away.

Chloe Bowen started struggling then shouted, "Let me go! I'm just here to ask for an explanation! There is no reason to drive me away!"

The bodyguard showed no mercy and quickly threw her out of the gate.

Veronica Parker was shocked by what happened. She could've believe what she saw.

Even after Chloe Bowen was kicked out of the property, Nick Cage's mood was unchanged. His eyes were still so serious and that frightened Veronica Parker.

"Go in." Nick Cage instructed Veronica Parker.

Veronica Parker slightly froze. She didn't know how to react. Then she finally came into her senses and went inside as instructed by Nick Cage. Nick Cage stayed outside with his bodyguard and just waited for her to go inside. Then with an angry tone he asked his bodyguard, "Who among you allowed Chloe Bowen to go inside? And who among you allowed Veronica Parker to go? I specifically gave you instructions about her. Didn't I?" His angry voice resonated to the whole compound.

Veronica Parker even heard his voice even though she was already inside the house.

His face was so angry and his bodyguards were so frightened of him.

A bodyguard came forward. His head bowed and his voice was trembling, "M...Mr. Cage, she said she was just... "

-Before the bodyguard could even finish his words, Nick Cage stepped forward and kicked him. He was extremely angry and could not control his actions. Nick Cage immediately took an action and dealt with the situation. He took out his cell phone and dialed a number. "Keep an eye on Veronica Parker's whereabouts." He said coldly.

"As you wish" The man from the other line responded.

Nick Cage just called Kay Tours.

Even though Veronica Parker was inside the hall, she could still hear the screams of the bodyguards.

She was frightened. Her body trembled again.

That evening, she experienced several frightening events. She even wondered if it will ever end.

Nick Cage already blurted out his rage over his bodyguards. Now she wondered if it was her turn then to absorb all of his remaining anger.

Veronica Parker thought to herself that only the six children would be spared by Nick Cage's frightening mood.

She thought again about Chloe Bowen. She couldn't seem to understand how she had the courage to go to Nick Cage's house. She even thought that Chloe Bowen might be seeking for a death wish.

Did she ever thought that Nick Cage was a nice person? The children were playing at the elevator when Veronica Parker came. They wanted to continue playing but when they saw her, their faces lit up and were full of smiles. And all together they shouted with so much joy, "Mom!!!" The kids rushed towards her and they all jumped and hugged her.

Veronica Parker regained herself and looked at her children with so much joy. They had gentle yet extraordinary expressions of love towards her and it overly reflected in their eyes. She squatted to meet and hugged and every one of them. She was so happy to see them too. She was too frightened the whole evening. But upon seeing them, she was ecstatic.

"Mom!" The kids swooped into Veronica Parker's arms one after the other, and Daniel was the last one because he was the slowest.

The children were too excited to hug her so she was then pushed back.

Just as she was about to fall to the ground, there was a force coming from her back, which directly supported her whole body.

Veronica Parker was stunned. She turned around then looked back and saw Nick Cage's deep black eyes.
