Chapter 309: Chapter 309
Chapter 308 The Sunset
She bet that Nick Cage would not treat her children badly. She believed that tiger poison like Nick Cage would not do anything to her children.
Veronica Parker stared at the screen for a while, but still, she didn't turn it on and put the phone aside. She really did it regardless of.
She thought that Peter could not handle Nick Cage and her other children, what would they feel in not seeing her. Veronica Parker's eyes felt hot, half of her face was buried in the pillow and tears sparkled in the corners of her eyes.
Veronica Parker had no jet lag. As long as it was nearly dark, no matter what country she was in, she could sleep.
With the yearning for her child.
When Veronica Parker woke up, she didn't look at the time. Her cell phone was not turned on, and she had no intention of opening it.
After fixing herself, she left the room and went downstairs. She heard a noise in the kitchen.
She went to the kitchen, and she saw Toby Cage in a shirt and cuffs frying eggs.
She stopped and stared at Toby Cage's back, well-toned and sexy.
That was how Toby Cage used to make her breakfast, not only for breakfast but also for lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks.
The scene was so familiar that her mood couldn't help but fluctuate.
Toby Cage sensed that someone was behind him, he turned around and saw Veronica Cage. His eyes softened. "Did you sleep well?"
"It's fine. I don't have jet lag," Veronica Parker regained her sense and said.
"This will be ready in a minute."
Veronica Parker walked towards him and looked at the egg. "It smells good. As a matter of fact, I will fry it, too. And it will be good like yours." Before he had finished, he looked at the shovel and handed it over silently. He froze and then turned around he said, "I'll get the cutlery."
With that, he turned around and left.
Toby Cage thought of their lovely situation, he could not help but chuckle. His eyes were full of doting.
Veronica Parker had enough to eat and drink, she said, "It's strange. I used to think that the plane food was delicious, but now it's hard to swallow. It's not a mouthful, is it?" She pinched her lips into a beep.
Toby Cage looked at her delicate lips, and his eyes flashed. "No, it's really bad."
"Isn't that right? I think so, too," Veronica Parker said.
"What do you want to do in the afternoon?" Toby Cage asked. "You decide, stay at home or go outside?" He added.
They ate breakfast outside, they had a beautiful sight. On their side, they could see the mountain, there were palm trees near them. The wind was calm, the ray of the sun didn't hurt their skin, and in their front, they could see the calmed sea. That was the kind of enjoyment that she ever wanted to experience right now.
Veronica Parker's eyes looked at him and said, "I've been to places here before, okay? It's the one we've been to before," After she said that she didn't hear Toby Cage's answer.
'Isn't he willing?' Veronica Parker thought to herself.
Toby Cage's lips were pressed together. When he turned around, he was caught off guard. The next second, Veronica Parker was in his arms and she was hugged tightly.
Veronica Parker's body suddenly froze, but she did not push Toby Cage. She closed her eyes, her head was buried in his chest. She heard his chest's strong heartbeat, and it seemed to speed up the rhythm.
'Did it make him so emotional when he came back to his old place?' Veronica Parker asked herself.
For a long time, Toby Cage stared at her gently, so deep that she could drown because of his stare. "Okay."
During their stay in the villa for a few days, Veronica Parker was taken by Toby Cage to the place where they used to stay before. Last night, they went to her old dormitory where he would bring her breakfast every day, before.
Toby Cage took Veronica Parker by her hand, they walked while they were holding each other's hand and their feet left a string of footprints on the sand beach.
They decided to ride a motorboat at a gallop on the sea.
Veronica Parker sat behind him. She was hugging Toby Cage's waist. Her cheek was resting on his back. Her eyes were red, and her tears were dripping away along with the wind. It dried her tears. Later on, it was gone. She laughed as she enjoyed their activity. Only now did she feel genuinely happy again.
Nearly six in the evening, they sat on the coastline. Veronica Parker's head was leaning in Toby Cage's shoulder, and his arm was on her shoulder as they watched the sunset together.
After the sunset, they walked on the beach. Veronica Parker shook off Toby Cage's hand and looked at him with her face smiling.
Toby Cage smiled. He turned around from her and squatted down.
Veronica Parker leaped up, she put her arms around his neck, and Toby Cage's hands were firmly on her buttocks.
"You're a little heavy," Toby Cage playfully said.
Veronica Parker reached out and pinched his cheeks and twirled it. Toby Cage felt pain in his cheeks. For him to recoup with her, he pinched her butt.
