Allison's POV

"Stop looking, do you know how many times I've looked in there?" Megan said to me while standing next to me

"I didn't look," I told her as I lowered the plates I had in my hand

Today is my little niece's birthday party after months. She came very young when I carried her and she remembered the first day that Zach was pregnant and on the mention of Zach, he has become her guardian since the first time he looked at her, he became a controlling brother for her and he protected her and prevented anyone from approaching her

"Yes, you didn't look," Megan said with a smile

"Well I looked I just don't know where William is late and he's not answering his phone."

"Come on, Alison, didn't you talk to him a while ago? I heard you."

"Yeah but... I'm weird these days. I just want to stay by his side. I just want him to hug me wherever he is. Oh my God, that's embarrassing." Megan sighed and started laughing.

" Why are you laughing ? "

"Nothing, I discovered something."

I looked around. My brother had a party outside in the middle of the herd. The trees were decorated and the tables were decorated too. It was a beautiful view. Everyone helped and brought the food down. The atmosphere was nice.

This party is for the family and the herd members and also any alpha will attend in agreement with my brother

"Luna Allison" I heard a voice calling me and I looked up

"Alpha Jason welcome" I told him to smile at me too I didn't know he was close to my brother too but I found out now

“Hello, I want to introduce you to the fact that it’s Luna Millie.” He pointed to the beautiful girl next to him who was smiling at me

“Nice to meet you, Luna Mielle.” I told her

"Me too, I'm really glad to meet you." I smiled at her and let's start talking. She's a nice person. I found out that she already has a -year-old son who is now playing with Zach, and after our conversation

"Alison, it's yours," Megan said to me, looking up to see William getting out of his car.

"Where are you late?" I told him while he hugged me and carried me, my legs do not touch the ground because of my height

"I'm not late," he told me

"I really thought you were late" I told him

"I'm sorry" he apologized as he put me on my feet and we looked at each other I raised my toes to his lips I want to kiss him I don't know what's happening to me these days but I just want him more than ever and before I reach his lips a voice cuts me off

"Alison.. oh I'm sorry keep it up" said Maya who came with William

"Hey Maya" I told her as I walked away from William and I was ashamed

"Why do you feel ashamed? It's like you've never kissed my brother in front of anyone before. Do I remember you two days ago when we were in the restaurant and suddenly you kissed him in front of us" she said to me, I feel ashamed when I remember that day I don't know what happened to me, we were eating in the restaurant of humans and suddenly I saw A girl is looking at him and I only feel myself kissing him to keep her eyes away from him I closed my eyes shyly and hid my face in William's lap while I avoided looking at her

"Maya.. stop it, I love her condition" William said to her

"Okay brother, I'll stop, I'll look for Adele," she said

I smiled at their relationship that became really like a brother and sister before we parted from our embrace William grabbed my hand as we headed to the party venue

My brother thanked everyone for coming before everyone started eating. William and I were seated at a table where my brother Megan Andrew, Adele, Maya and Alpha Jason and Millie all chatted before I felt someone tap my shoulder I turned to find a child looking at me

"Kayden, what are you doing?" Luna Millie told him then that he is her son

“Hi Kayden, my name is Alison.” I said smiling at him so he smiled at me too before he suddenly gave me a hug so I could hug him too.

“My king,” he said while still embracing me so that everyone turned around to look at him

"Cayden son, no, it's not yours, it's Uncle William's." Alpha Jason said to him, turning away and looking at him.

"It's not her, it's her," he said, pointing to my stomach. What does he mean?

"I knew it," Megan said, clapping her hand

"What do you mean?" I asked her, looking at everyone, it seemed they knew what she meant

"You're pregnant with Alison without a doubt," Adele said to me, looking happy. I froze, trying to comprehend how attached I am to William these days, and I slept a lot with my appetite doubled, so I am really pregnant

“But is that possible?” I asked them as I looked at Kayden who was still standing next to me, how did he know that?

It rarely happens that a werewolf of his age discovers his mate, but because he is an alpha he made it possible and Kaiden is one of the very rare cases and he has found his mate even if it is still formed in your belly. He is still young and his wolf has not yet appeared.” Megan explained to me, nodding in understanding

I remembered that I never noticed William, what was his reaction? I looked at him to find him looking into the void as if trying to understand

"William" I called him quietly but he didn't answer me after a few minutes he moved and looked at me

"You... you are pregnant" he told me as if to make sure

“Most likely yes.” I told him to smile brightly at me as if he had finally discovered the matter or the truth of it. I saw his hand slowly approaching my stomach to put it gently on top of it, as if he was afraid that something might happen to the child. He slowly passed his hand over my duck and his smile increased

"Then we'll be a family in the future, William." Alpha Jason said to him, referring to his son with our baby

William removed his hand from my stomach to hold my hand and kissed it before looking at Alpha Jason

"I won't let your son get close to her until she's thirty or more, then I'll think about it," William told him seriously.

"William, she's his queen, I saw he found her first." Alpha Jason replied with a smile

"It's mine even if he finds out first that it's mine so it's good to make your son understand that" William said to him again with his serious face that he was possessive even in our child I started laughing at his seriousness

"But come on, William is thirty years old??? until she is and will let her go to her boyfriend?" Andrew asked

"I said I'd think about it in years' time."

“But William, I took my sister, who is twenty, and I did not stop you.” My brother said to him

"Because it wasn't yours from the beginning, it was mine, so I took it" he answered

"I feel so sorry for my son because he's got a dad and a girlfriend like you," Jason said, shaking his head in surrender, and everyone started laughing.

Only seconds and I found William's lips on top of mine kissing me deeply I heard applause and screams from our family happily.

¤ Perhaps life is always like this, giving you pain, giving you tests and waiting for you to face them. If you succeed in that, life will provide you with happiness.

And maybe everyone gets his happiness in the end. We just have to find the courage and strength to do it to the end.

William's POV

"I love you" I whispered to Alison as I put my forehead on hers

"I love you too" she replied with her charming smile

It was and still is the key to my happiness, the key to the disappearance of my pain.

Pain is not constant and it is not a tragedy. Pain is like sea waves, crashing on the bank, causing destruction if they are sharp. But it always backs off. Always leave room for happiness.

Pain and happiness work together in balance. When someone suffers real pain, they get the advantage of living true happiness.

So be patient and strong, and someday this pain will be the key to your happiness
