Chapter 33: Chapter 33

I don't know how long it lasted until I felt like I was falling asleep on those papers and files.

“Alison, Alison.” A voice I know well wakes me up. I open my eyes to find William

"Wake up, it's time." He told me to sit on the bed, the bed?  When did you come here

William must have brought me I went to the bathroom and got ready I went out to find William waiting for me while he was sitting on the couch with plates of food in front of him

"Come on, let's eat breakfast," he said, nodding to him to sit next to him and start eating, and when we were done, William grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room with him to go to the meeting place.

"Why am I feeling nervous?"  I whispered it to myself, but William heard me

"Exactly why would you be so nervous? Act as you normally are." He said to me, pulling me in, and after walking for a while, he stood in front of a huge door before he opened it and we entered.

As soon as we entered I saw many people inside, or rather many alphas and colors, some of them standing and talking to each other and others sitting around the big table that contains many chairs

As soon as we entered, they took a look at us exactly, looking at me

"Come on, I want to introduce someone to you," William said to me

"You mean alpha?"

“Yes.” He pulled me to stand in front of a man who I thought was in his early thirties

"William, how are you?"  Alpha asked him, smiling

“Okay, let me introduce this to you, my Alison Luna, and this is the Alpha of the Black Stone Flock, Jason.” William introduced us.

"Nice to meet you, Luna."

“Me too,” I replied

"I'm really happy for you, William," he said, smiling

"Thank you Jason"

"He is a close friend of mine and in the past we helped each other a lot so he is an important person to me" William explained his relationship to me and he smiled at him

"My color could not come today, but in the future I will introduce you to each other"

"I'm looking forward to that alpha," I replied with a smile

William and Alpha Jason started talking and I changed my look at the two people I wanted to see to let go of William's hand and run to them They were sitting and as soon as they saw me they stood up I hugged them

"I miss you brother, Megan" I told them to smile

"We too, how are you?"  My brother asked me

“Good, how about you, Megan?” I asked her about her pregnancy

"Good, I don't feel pregnant, it must be a calm child"

“Of course he would be a quiet kid who looks just like me.” I told her

"Come on, it's calm on one side and you're on the other side" Austin said to look at him tomorrow

"Hello," said William, who came after me

“Hello Alpha William.” My brother and William started to talk so Megan made me sit on the chair and sit next to me and started talking to me and asked me about everything in the herd

I felt like it was a mother trying to figure out her daughter's condition. I smiled when I remembered my mother. I heard the voice of someone cleaning his throat to raise my eyes.

"What's up?"  I said to Austin

“You are sitting in my place,” he said to me

" but ?"

"The meeting will start now, don't you see everyone in their place? Get up and go to your place." He said to me to see that everyone had already taken a place to stand me too.

But where is William I changed my look to his smell and found him sitting next to the front chair facing us

I started heading towards him, but before I reached the door opened for an old man to enter, he must be the president of the council, followed by two guards

I stopped in the middle, I don't know what to do, should I continue walking or what

The President of the Council stood beside me and put on a warm smile

"So this is our new individual, welcome Luna Alison, my name is Arthur and..." Before he finished, a voice behind him interrupted him.

"You... what are you doing here?"  The guard behind him spoke in a loud voice, and before I answered him, I heard someone hitting the table so hard that it changed my view of William, who was about to get up and attack the guard before I sent him to our telepathy.

"William calm down. I know it was the two guards who brought the invitation that day" I said to William, so it seemed he had calmed down a little.

"Watch your mouth and tone if you don't want me to slit your throat." William sent him a warning, making sure he made the guard terrified because I heard his heartbeat increase.

“What are you doing in front of Luna? She apologized quickly.” Arthur asked the guard

"Luna, I'm sorry, but sir, it's the girl we told you about." He apologized to me and spoke to his boss

"Really? You made them pay you?"  Arthur asked me and I could feel his voice sounding amused

"Yes, that's me," I replied, starting to laugh

"Can I find out why Luna, when they told me that I was curious?"

"It's simple. They asked me in a disrespectful way. Whatever my rank, warrior guard or color, they should ask for what they want with respect and so they learned their lesson and I won a hundred dollars" I said my last word as I walked towards William I heard some people laughing and I didn't pay them

"Oh Alpha William, you have a feisty, strong Luna over there" Alpha spoke I don't think to look at him

"Why? Can't I be?"  I Saied to him

"No, but it's rare for there to be a quarrelsome color."

"Oh really then protect your back well, you don't know you might get stabbed by a quarrelsome Luna" I said in annoyance before sitting next to William who was only looking at me with a side smile

I looked at him not interested in the reaction of that alpha. I don't like people looking down on me or belittling me, whatever.

"Okay, then, thanks for coming, everyone, and we'll start our meeting right away," Arthur said, taking a seat at the front of the table.

The meeting began with some herds agreeing to sign treaties with each other, and the thing that was very boring to me, I tried as much as possible to show that I was interested and that I was not interested in this at all.

They continued like this until I caught my attention for a while where they were presenting the areas that they wanted to sell or buy, I heard a thousand talking

"Mr. Arthur, I want to order an area of Alpha Williams."

“I refuse.” William spoke before Arthur spoke

"Who is this ??  " Sent to William in our telepathy

"Alpha Charles for the Herd of Resistance"

"The herd of resistance??  I've never heard of this herd before.

"He is far from our herd and from your old herd as well, and you don't seem like a person who cares about the herds very much" He said I don't feel convinced by his words, I didn't care for any other herd but mine and Andrew's herd earlier, so not knowing that is normal

"William's alpha the area I want is far from your herd and from what I heard that no one lives there, is there something you hide there that you don't want the world to know?" He spoke with a side smile as if he had touched a nerve. Everyone looked at us with suspicion, so I decided it was time.  Intervention

"Of course there is something there, there is our home, he and I. When we want to rest, we go there and also that area is mine and not the property of the Alpha William." I spoke and I don't know what to say.

"Really?? The last time I checked it was Alpha William's" he told me defiantly, the curse has exposed me, what am I going to do?

"Then how about you update your information? Mr. Arthur, who owns that area?"  Asked William Arthur who grabbed a file and looked at it

"It really belongs to Luna Alison," said Arthur, looking at Alpha Charles, "Look, I'm William."

"William what's going on?" Sent in our telepathy

"Nothing. I made your words true" He answered me, of course, he just made a big and huge area full of forests under my name is not a big thing

"So Luna, can I tell you didn't sell it?"

"Didn't I tell you there are our memories and moments I wouldn't sell even if they forced me" I told him to make him look angry

“Then, Mr. Arthur, we are done with this. I will not sell it,” I said to Mr. Arthur

“Yes, of course, then let’s move on to our next topic about rugs.” He said to change my view, I don’t like rugs, and I don’t want to hear about them either. I felt a hand holding my hand on my leg, and I smiled at William, who clasped our hands.

"You can go out if you want, I won't force you to hear anything about them and I don't want you to feel sad either" He told me in our telepathy, meaning about the rouges

"It's okay, I want to stay by your side and I won't feel sad"

"Sure?"

"Yes, just focus on your meeting" I told him to blame me and his focus returned to the meeting, but I tried as much as possible not to listen to them talking about them and their attacks.
