Allison's POV

“I… I didn’t mean… I… I’m just going now.” I told him as I walked towards the door and opened it, but a hand grabbed it and closed it again. I feel breath hitting my neck.

“Do you always choose to run?” "It made me nervous more than I used to," said William, close to my ear

"I didn't... choose... one day to run away and the proof is that I'm in front of you now" I replied, my back still facing him

William moved his left hand to place it on my stomach, surrounding me and bringing me closer to him. I felt my back stick to his hard chest.

Before he moved his right hand, which was holding the door, to remove my hair and hold his head, he quietly kissed my neck, not out of place and named, but it was a place enough to send my heart mad.

Then he left me to open the door for me and I ran outside and as soon as I put my feet outside I started to breathe and try to calm my heartbeat

I went to the training center when I was feeling well to get on with my day and when I was done I went to Andrew's house to pick up Adele and then went back to William's.

I approached and found him standing, leaning against one of the trees that surrounded the house, and he looked at me

"What do you say we run?" He asked me, and he meant to release our wolves, and I nodded at him and went to the front door of the house and dropped my things there before returning to him.

"Go behind that tree so you don't tear your clothes," he told me to go. I removed my clothes and put them there before I released my medium-sized brown wolf.

I headed to William who had already turned into his big black wolf

I slowly walked towards him before he headed for her too. William's wolf, whose name I still don't know his name, approached from neck to me to pass his nose there only seconds and I moved away from him to start running

It lasted for a while before stopping to sit in front of that river that I discovered earlier, you gave complete control to me

William's wolf sat next to us and we started enjoying the calm and sitting after a while William's wolf stood and pointed with his head to follow him, this means that we will go home.

"Come in, I'll go and come back in a little while." He said to me, nodding to him

I went to take a shower and change my clothes. I went downstairs again and went into the kitchen to find William taking food out of bags. He must have gone to get our food and now he wants to heat it up.

"William, I can do it and you can go change your clothes" I said as I walked up and stood next to him and he looked at me hesitantly

" William, don't look at me like that, it's not like I'm going to destroy your kitchen or your house."

"Let the kitchen and the house go to hell, I care about your safety," he said to me, smiling at his concern around me

"Don't worry I'll just put the food on the plates and then in the stove" I told him to nod for me and go

I prepared the food and put it on the table for William to come and sit next to me and we start eating silently again

a week later

Allison's POV

It's been a week fast and daily lifestyle I keep eating meals with William and when we talk I'm the one talking and he just listens to me or asks questions about me

Today was the end of the week, that means no training or work, but it is different for William. He is now sitting in his office, busy with his files, and he brought me with him, not as if I would refuse the opportunity to monitor him, but I sat a lot and now I'm starting to get bored.

"William, can I go see a friend?" I asked him

"Girlfriend? You don't have friends and you don't like to make friends either." He looked at me

"I know, but I have a girlfriend here. I made this friend before I went to my previous flock" I replied

"Okay, go." He said to me, nodded, and headed out to Maya's house

I know I've been here a week and haven't been to her, but I was trying to adjust to the new life. I arrived in front of the house to knock on the door for a few seconds and Maya opened as soon as she saw me and smiled.

"Alison, did you really join our herd???" She told me she was excited

"Yes, legally, I joined."

“Then soon we will see your joining ceremony.”

"I think so, whoever I am I will tell you to come tomorrow to the training center. I will be there. We will start training together."

“Are you serious about training?”

"Yes, don't you want?"

"I'm just worried and I don't want to ask that from the Alpha or the Beta, I'm afraid they will make fun of me."

“Have they ever done something like this?? Mocking?” I said, feeling a little angry, I can understand her fear and phobia of them but you shouldn't pass judgment like that

"No, of course not, they are the best alpha and beta, especially after they took care of me when they found out about the bullying. I'm just afraid," she said to me, explaining herself.

"So what do you think if I take care of that, you'll just come tomorrow to the training center where I am, understand?" You looked at me hesitantly

"Okay, I see, so how about you come in and eat together?" She said, I'd agree, but Kristen's voice stopped me.

“Alison, the alpha is asking to see you.” I looked at him

"Okay I'm coming, Maya, let's eat together another day, I have to go."

“I see, thank you bye.” I waved to her before following Kristen

"He's waiting for you in the center," Kristen told me, since I can't teleport with William

“Okay, I’ll go, thank you.” I thanked him and went to the center to find William waiting for me

"Let's eat. I asked them to take it to our house." William said to me, smiling at the word of our house.

"William, can we go by that river for some kind of picnic?" I told him to look at me and nod

I collected our food, picked up my book, and set off with William by my side, and after walking for a while, we arrived, it was as before, calm and silence

We sat there and started eating when we finished William lay down and closed his eyes he must be taking a nap and I took my book and started reading it I loved this calm and after a while I heard William's voice

“What are you reading now?” William said I looked at him to find he was still lying down but his eyes were looking at me

“A paragraph called he knew,” I replied

“Read it to me,” he said as I cleared my throat to start reading

He knew she was beautiful.

He knew she was kind."

He knew she was unique.

He knew it was his.

He knew it was his disobedience.

He knew it was water.

He knew it was fire.

He knew it was the angel

He knew it was the devil.

He knew it was the light.

He knew it was darkness.

But he didn't know that she was beginning to break his barriers.

He didn't know that she had found her way into his heart.

He didn't know that she could save him."

I finished reading to look at him and found him looking at me completely, and after a few seconds he stood up, extended his hand to me to help me stand and signaled me to follow him. We started walking until we reached the parking lot.

"William, what's the matter?"

"We're going somewhere, get in." We got in the car and William drove off

"Where is this place we're going to?" I asked him after a while of silence because I became curious

" Do you trust me ? "

“Yes,” I said without even thinking

“At least hesitate a little before answering,” he told me

“I don’t need to hesitate about something I know well.” I answered him letting him sigh and concentrate on his driving, and after a while his car stopped on the side of the road

William got out of the car and looked at me and signaled to follow him.

And after walking, I began to understand where we had come to, that it was the cemetery

I watched William as he advanced in front of one of the graves and stood. I read the name there. I didn't need him to tell me who she was because I knew it was his mother who stood behind him and he just looked at his mother's grave.

“Mother, I found her, I know she is wonderful and more than good for someone like me, I also know that you asked me to care for my companion more than anything in this world, but I was afraid at first and you made me understand how important companions are even though you did not receive the love that you gave my father I'm sorry mom, I couldn't save you or protect you." William spoke to me and grabbed his hand, and when he felt that, he made our hands intertwine even more.

“Alison, do you know who was the innocent victim in all of this?” William asked to look at me

"You" I told him, nodding his head

"It's my mother," he told me to look at the grave in front of us

"All I did was that she loved her boyfriend , who only made her suffer and in the end he killed her."

My father did not love her and my mother knew that when he found her in the early years my mother was happy and my father was happy with her because of the bond only

But his heart wasn't for her because he had already loved someone else. My mother didn't know about it until years later and she gave birth to me after that.

My father was staying away from her and my mother felt that she was not in his heart even if she was his companion and one day I remember hearing the sound of screaming and crying

I went to find my mother on the ground in so much pain that she screamed. I ran to her. I tried to help her, but she just stopped me and she was saying she was fine

I thought it was the first and last but that pain happened every now and then I didn't know what it was I thought she was sick but I got it wrong it was because.. "

“He was with the other woman who cursed you, which made your mother suffer so much.” I completed his difficult sentence and felt my heart begin to ache for the pain that William and his mother went through too. That Rafiq betrays his girlfriend is something worse than death. It continues with intense pain in your heart.

"I don't want the same thing to happen to us, Alison. I don't want to risk your life."

"We're not your mom and dad, and you know that, unless you've loved someone before, then it might be the same," I told him to look at me.

"Of course, there is no one but you."

"Okay, see, nothing like that would happen to us, and you'd never risk my life." I told him, as he looked at me silently.

"Don't worry about William, I will take good care of him and I will never leave him alone no matter what and whatever happens, I promise I will love him and take care of him for the last breath of my life so I hope you rest in peace, your son is now in good hands" I said addressing William's mother's grave We continued silently for a while there.
