Kortney's Pov

Getting inside the mansion was like a castle in the movies but here it is, a real one am staring right at from the bodyguards, the exterior decoration which is world class, everything just looks beautiful and wealthy.

"Come over, I want you to meet my wife before you meet with the head maid that will explain all the things you need to know in this mansion." He said in a soft sweet voice but at the mention of his wife, it made my blood so hot. I just hate her so much for coming into his life before I did.

"Okay Mr Brian." I responded and begin trailing behind him staring at his back appearance and how extra outstanding he looks.

I wish I could just get all my plans done right now, it be the best day of my life but I need to take everything easy and not ruin what I had worked hard for, it musn't slip away just like that without achieving anything.

"That block over there belongs to every staffs in this mansion working under me. I believe the head maid will tell you more of your duties and will also explain things you will need to know for your safety in this mansion." He explained.

"No problem Mr Brian, I'll be more willing to work under you since I'll have a roof to live on. Thank you so much." I answered.

"That's alright let go in so you can greet my wife." He uttered smiling making him look more handsome as fuck. He is sure my man and I'll gain possession of him from his so called wife soon.

"Sure sir." I replied feeling so irritated to see the witch of a wife who wants to over throne him with her beauty but I'm here now so I'll break that spell completely and have him all to myself by becoming Mrs. Kortney Lincoln.

Brian's Pov

"Baby, am home." I yelled when I saw her coming downstairs looking scared.

"What happened to you? Are you alright?" She asked checking me out until she saw Kortney walked inside and stood behind me.

"Who is she Brian?" She asked staring at her.

"Baby meet Kortney and Kortney meet my wife, Chloe."

"Good afternoon madam." Kortney greeted her politely bowing her head. She's really respectful and educated.

"Good afternoon." Chloe replied and furrowed her brows which was signifying I should explain what's going on.

"Erhnn... honey, I ran into an accident when I was on the call with you this morning so this lady here was knocked down by me with my car and she sustained little injury on the feet."

"Goodness, are you okay miss?" She asked Kortney going towards her to see if she was okay.

"I'm okay madam, thank you."

"On behalf of my husband, I'm so sorry for causing you physical pain." Chloe pleased.

"I hold on grudge against him madam, he is a good man and will never have done that if he was more focused on the road, but everything is gone now madam."

"Thank you." Chloe said and walked back to me and whispered to my ear.

"Why is she here baby, does she need something?"

"Actually love, she doesn't have anywhere to go so I decided to bring her to work as a maid, is that okay with you?" I explained to her.

"But baby bringing a total stranger to the house is risky without knowing anything about her life or anything."

"She already did told me she lost both parents due to some mental health conditions also her dad happened to owe a gangster a huge sum of money that's how she sold all her father's possession to pay back making her homeless that's why I made that decision of bringing her here but if you don't feel it was the right thing to do, I could send her off with a huge sum of money." I explained in a whisper as well.

"It no use baby since she's here already, I am only after your safety, our babies and mine as well but it okay. I just don't feel good with this." She answered whispering back to me as we both turned our graze to Kortney.

"Urhm... Kortney right?" Chloe enquired.

"Yes madam."

"You're welcome to our mansion."

"Thank you madam." She answered.

"Mrs Harley." I called out to the head maid who was my most trusted staff of fifty seven year old assigned in every activities pertaining to the mansion.

"Yes Mr Brian, welcome home."

"Thank you. I want you to show Kortney everywhere, she will be joining the maids and I want you to tell her all she needs to know about the job." I stated.

"It will be done Mr Brian." She replied bowing her head.

"Let go dear, let me show you around." She added referring to Kortney and they both left outside the mansion together.

Chloe's Pov

"Buttermilk, you didn't get me what I told you about." I uttered pouting my mouth as we both were on the bed on each other embrace.

"I'm so sorry honey, it skipped my mind. I'll have it ordered here right now." He replied and picked up his phone to order for everything I requested for earlier.

"Baby, I do have something to say concerning the lady you brought as a maid."

"What's wrong with her?" He asked.

"My mind isn't okay with her, I just feel something is gonna happen or something I don't know. I really don't want anything to come in between you and I or even our marriage."

"Nothing will ever happen since our love is so true, pure and strong and no force will ever break that also the lady you speak of looks so innocent and she's only a maid so you don't need to worry about anything. Nobody can ever come between us when our love for each other is fused with strong vibe and our little angel growing inside of you standing as a symbol of our love firmly with power."

"We can't be very sure darling but we need to be very careful. Anyways I'm really hungry, when is the food gonna get here?"

"It here honey," He stated and just then there was a soft knock at the door.

"Yeah, come in." He answered and the lady called Kortney walked in with a takeout bags containing my orders.

"Good evening Mr Brian and madam. The delivery man brought it but there wasn't anyone at the door to receive it but lucky I was there so I collected it and brought it right here." She explained smiling at Brian.

"Why is she smiling at him that way? What's her motive for doing this?" I thought watching her move as Brian got off the bed and took the takeout bag of the meals from her but she wasn't willing to go as she kept staring at his back view.

"God! This lady is really pissing me off by staring at my man that way." I cussed in between my breath.

"You can take your leave now, thank you." I uttered sounding hard.

"Yes madam, good night Mr Brian, good night madam." She responded and walked out.

I do need to watch every move of hers because I don't trust her one bit. I won't tell Brian about it because he is gonna think I am overreacting which means I'll have to do it myself.

Kortney's Pov

"Fuck!!!" I cussed in a low voice the moment I walked outta their room.

I hate the fact I walked in on them holding each other so tightly, it just made my blood boil that she has gotten him so possessed with her and she's damn pregnant with his child.

"Fucking hell!!! This wasn't what I expected, I need to act fast and look for ways to cause conflict between them also I will do something with that pregnancy of hers. She can't use it to hold him down.

It wasn't to my expectation their relationship will be fast into having kids right away after marriage. I can't back off now when am close to my goal but it gonna take awhile before it becomes a success.

I will look for all means to tear their relationship apart but first I need to do something about the pregnancy fast before it ruin all of my plans.

I came into this house because I want him to be mine and I can't leave until he is mine.
