Chapter 25: Chapter 25

I found Andre eventually. Okay, let me start at the beginning. I couldn’t find him at first because he was avoiding me, yes the same way I was avoiding him when I found out I was supposed to be his student guide, thank God that one is over now! So later that day I ramped up my search for him and finally found him…get this, I found Andre in his apartment after dinner on his couch with Eva over him, Andre’s hand squeezing her butt, roaming her body while he kissed her.

“Oh my…are you kidding me?!” I yelled. They are lucky half of our classmates were either still in the dining room or hanging around somewhere and the remaining half probably don’t care what they were up to, but then again maybe that was why he and Eva decided to stay back in the hostel to make out. “You literally just asked my best friend to be your girlfriend a few hours ago like a love craze jerkface.”

Unbothered, Andre took his time getting his hands off Eva’s ass. Eva looked too pleased to pretend she was scared of what I would tell Siobhan. She stood up and didn’t attempt to straighten her hair or her shorts which were riding high on her thighs.

“Hello, Bianca.”

“Hell no, Eva, get out.”

She snorted and looked at Andre who tilted his head toward the door indicating she should leave. Judging by the look on her face, she wasn't expecting him to tell her to leave. As soon as she stalked out, rolling her eyes at his dismissal I locked the door and faced Andre.

“What the actual hell is wrong with you? You were lusting after my friend, weren’t you? So can I understand why you hand your hands up Eva’s clothes like you don’t have a girlfriend?”

“I was just saying goodbye.”

I gasped at his attitude. “You were saying goodbye? So you say goodbye with your cock now or something?”

He kept quiet but still lay sprawled on the couch like he couldn’t care less what I was talking about.

“Andre!”

“Bianca!” he stood from the couch and in a single step closed the distance between us. “You insert yourself where you’re not needed.”

Unintimidated by him I stood my ground. “I am needed here because you and Siobhan involved me, okay? And she deserves your loyalty after going all out like that in front of the entire school.”

“She deserves my loyalty? What do you think she’s doing right now? She’s kissing her old boyfriends goodbye and I am doing the same to mine, or aren’t I allowed to do that? Or is only your friend allowed that liberty, sweet righteous Bianca?”

He shut me up good because I know what he said was possible, Siobhan was somewhere going down a line of boys saying her goodbyes.

Andre saw my frown disappear. “Okay, so now that you got that get the hell out of my apartment.”

“No!”

“Okay, do what you please. I’m going to take a bath.” He turned and pulled his shirt over his head the muscles in his shoulders and back rippling as he did. “Still here?” he tossed over his shoulder.

“Yes one more thing, why did you lead Aaron and Siobhan to believe I came up with the idea of the band and music and the proposal?”

“Because I was doing you a favor, you are welcome.”

“Well I didn’t ask for a favor and I don’t want to owe you one.”

He whirled around, stirring the air around him with the force of his movement. “You wanted Siobhan to see how civil we can be around each other? Yes, I did what I did to make her think so.” He smiled. “Don’t you think it’s weird how you are not the only girl throwing herself at me?”

“I see how that hurts your fragile ego,” I taunted. “Like I said before I know you better than those bimbos throwing themselves at you that is why I’m telling you now that I do not need favors from you. You accuse me of inserting myself in situations, well you too have a bad habit of doing that!”

“I do not!” he grabbed my hand and shoved me into the door. “You are so bad at minding your business, you think you have the perfect solution for everything.”

“No, I don’t, I’m just doing what’s best for my friend…”

He laughed. “Are you?”

His grip was hurting and I fought against it but no matter how hard I fought he held on tighter. “Yes, I am because unlike you I am loyal to my friend…”

“You are such a lying little…” he didn’t complete his sentence because the moment his eyes dropped from my eyes to my lips he leaned down and took my mouth forcefully. I tried to breathe and inhaled his aroma instead, his scent filled my nostrils and making my slaps against his chest became inefficient. His hands were quick to stall mine from trying to push him away, he held them between us for a second before forcing them against the door beside me all the while his mouth opened over mine, sucking my lips, nibbling them.

“Andre….”

His tongue stole into my mouth, warm and forceful with his strokes. I tried to tell him to stop but every time my mouth opened for even a second he assaulted my senses, exploring my mouth so boldly I couldn’t make a single sound. Then he took my bottom lip between his teeth and sucked, biting very lightly.

He released my lip and I opened my eyes and saw him staring, his eyes were dark.

He continued to watch me, both of our chests rising and falling after that sudden kiss. We stayed like that for a long time watching each other’s eyes. He released my hands but didn’t step back and honestly, I loved the feel of his naked chest against mine but my rational mind knew this wasn’t right. My best friend’s boyfriend? No way!

“Get the hell away from me, Andre,” I said slowly.

He didn’t budge. Both of his hands were planted on both sides of me, neither of them touching me.

“What was the point of that?”

“To stop your lies, Bianca Davis.”

I sucked in a deep breath and laughed. “I do not lie, Andre Rios, now get the hell away from me. You’ve made your point with your kiss, I don’t care what point you were trying to make but let me go!”

He searched my eyes and smirked. “Push me away.”

My hands wouldn’t move. He waited, the seconds counting down. I willed my hands to move beside me so I could shove at him but they wouldn’t move. I could only stare into his eyes, my anger fast disappearing somewhere into the night air.

“I’m waiting,” he taunted me.

“Move, Andre,” my voice didn’t sound as strong as before.

He smiled and both of his hands came up to hold my head between them. “Push me away or tell me to stop…”

Suddenly, the door handle was jerked as someone tried to open it from the other side. Then came the knock at the door the next minute reverberating through my back, startling us both.

“Who’s there?”

“Your girlfriend, luv,” came Siobhan’s voice.
