Winter's POV

"Good morning, Miss Winter!" Elisse greeted me as soon as I arrived in the dining room.

I smiled at her and patted her head. "Hello there, sweetheart! By the way, is Matthew still asleep?"

"He's cooking our breakfast, Miss Winter."

"W-What?"

I immediately headed to the kitchen, only for me to see Matthew flipping the pancakes using his right hand. He was wearing a pink apron and I couldn't help but smile because of that.

"Let me just do that for you. You should be taking some rest, not doing house chores."

"Oh, you're already awake. It's alright, I still can use my other hand. Also, I'm not forcing my left hand to do things."

"You're so hard-headed. How can I even take care of you when you love taking care of us instead?"

Matthew just laughed and started putting the plates on the tray. Together with our maids, I helped him bring the breakfast to the dining room. I couldn't help smiling while glancing at him while we were eating. I keep on remembering what happened last night. He told me he loves me, then...

"I'm done!" Elisse cooed after eating her breakfast.

"Oh, so you're done now? Shall we head to school now?"

She smiled and nodded her head. "Yes!"

"Alright, let's go!"

"Wait, here's her lunch. I prepared it a while ago."

"Oh, you really are so sweet. You even prepared lunch for Elisse. How about me? You didn't even prepare one for me?"

His brows furrowed. "Are you going somewhere today?"

"Uh-huh. I need to go to my boutique."

"But I thought you were going to stay at home with me? I thought you were going to take care of me until my left arm finally feels better?" he asked me like a kid pouting.

I chuckled as I cupped both of his cheeks. "Fine, then I'll go straight here to take care of you. I just said that I need to go to work and you're already sulking like a kid, huh?"

"W-Winter..." he whispered while looking around us with his ears turning red.

That's when I realized that our maids and Elisse were looking at us with smiles on their faces. I just smiled at them as I moved away from Matthew. "Alright, shall we go now?"

"Yes!"

"Where's Matthew?" that was the first thing that I asked our maids as soon as I arrived home after driving Elisse to her school.

"He's in his room, Miss Winter."

I nodded my head as I immediately headed upstairs, right to Matthew's room. The door wasn't closed, so I entered it without knocking.

"Matthew?"

I tried to call him, but he wasn't answering me. That's when I noticed his clothes placed on his bed. I also heard the sound of a shower inside the bathroom.

I just decided to sit on his bed while waiting for him to finish taking a bath. His room was neat, as always. Everything was arranged properly to its place.

"W-Winter."

I turned my head in his direction as soon as I heard his voice. That was when I found out he was just wearing his grey bathrobe.

"You were taking a bath, so I decided to just wait for you here."

"You should have waited for me outside."

"Why? Are you scared that I might see you naked?"

He shook his head. "Why would I be scared of that?"

"Right. Why would you be scared of that when we already did a French kiss last night?"

His eyes widened when I said that. He even almost covered my mouth.

"Winter."

"Why? That's the truth. If grandpa didn't call you, what do you think could have happened next?" I told him, teasingly.

I could already see his ears turning red. Why is my boyfriend so adorable?

With a smile on my face, I stood up and walked over to him. I stared at him for a while before giving him a quick kiss on the lips, which surprised him. "I wasn't able to give you a good morning kiss a while ago."

"Are you really like this when you're in a relationship?"

"Like what?"

"Aggressive."

I averted my gaze from him while feeling the hotness on both of my cheeks. "Well, I haven't had any relationship with anyone yet..."

"You haven't?"

"You already know that."

A smile suddenly appeared on his face. "Well, I haven't been in any relationship either. I think I have told you about that already, right?"

"Y-Yeah, I already know about that. But if this is your first time being in a relationship, too, then why are you teasing me as if you're so good at being in so many relationships?!"

"I was just asking about you being so aggressive towards me. I wasn't teasing you at all."

"But you looked as if you were really teasing me."

He took a step forward and moved closer to me. "I just want to tell you that you shouldn't be acting like that. I should be the one who's more aggressive between the two of us."

"And who do you think are you to give me the role I should play in our relationship?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

He looked straight into my eyes. "I am your boyfriend."

I didn't know why, but I felt my whole body tremble when he said those words. I just gently pushed him away from me and turned around to hide my flushed face. "Just put your clothes on now. Let's go to the mall before we fetch Elisse from school."

"Okay, babe."

My eyes widened when I heard that. When I turned around to look at him again, he was already putting his black turtleneck on. I didn't stay there any longer anymore since he might tease me even more.

Oh, God. That man.

How can he make me so nervous like that? I thought I would be the one to control him in this relationship, but he's actually an aggressive one, too.
