She cannot hold a breath when Sid eating her mussel, tasting deliciously by sucking it the same. She wants to scream because of savory feelings. This is totally extraordinary experience that only now she felt in her entire life. She feels floating in the galaxy while tasting cloud-9 sweet savory. It’s more than that feelings when erected bravely Sid’s pet was entered to her. She needs to focus more on herself now on the plans ahead. That’s why she didn’t see that Sid had been staring at her for a longer time. She didn’t witness the misery on its face. There are moments that when their vision is almost meets but it is noticeable that they are avoiding it. She was wearing dark eyeglasses so she was thankful that the swelling of the eye was hidden.

How can she regain the honor and pride she has lost? How else can she deal normally with the boss after had happened between them?

“ It is too very difficult situation Margaret .” she said on her mind.

There would have been no problem if she was just one of those women who had no appreciation for virginity. But she’s not the kind of one, for her it is sacred and should give high level of importance. All of a sudden she became a fool, giving up of everything in vain because of the flickering of love. There is a feelings that every time they meet there is no respect and the only thing in the mind is the one who intervenes between them.

Prior Christmas vacation their annual Christmas party which will be held on 20th of December. She was the one who organized it as per her boss ordered. Every year Aqua Leisure Corporation is holding an annual Christmas party. Hence, her day became busy on the days that followed. She’s the one who made the program, activities, socialization, parlor games including Mr. & Ms. Christmas which suggested by employees as they say it’s just for fun. She didn’t want to attend but she knew people would be surprised and for sure her boss would look for her too.

Later the party started with the opening remarks of the CEO of Aqua Leisure Corporation it is no other than honorable Mr. Sid Casa Villa. It is very simple handsome guy wearing a denim skinny jeans, upper coat men’s outfit of Uniqlo with footwear loafers which add a luxurious yet laid- back appearance to a smart casual and semi-formal jeans outfit. If you look at the way it is worn, it is very similar to the frequent outfit of the young veteran actor in the Philippines named John Lloyd Cruz.

“ A pleasant good evening my dearest valued colleagues. I am very happy and grateful to each of you here most especially for those staying with me for a decades. I highly appreciated your willingness to share your God-given talents with our valued company and with the colleagues in our care of course. Christmas is a time of sharing and giving so I’m sure everyone received already a 13th months pay plus a bonus. “ the employees shouted and laughed because of what he said while saying “ yes! The master of ceremony was took the microphone in order to proceed for the next program activity.

“ Ok guys before the night will be over I knew everyone is waiting for this activity let’s find who will bag for the title tonight for Mr. & Miss Christmas 2021. Our mechanics is very simple and quite easy. If you can see I’m holding a jar which contains multiple digits let say for example 1, 2, 3…and so on but out of these multiple digits inside the jar there are only two sticky note that contains “ Mr. Christmas 2021 “ and “ Ms. Christmas 2021 “ there is no selection and exception here so meaning to say everybody here will going to participate. Just pick and the one who picked the said title will be automatically be crowned. “ the emcee explained the mechanics completely in detailed.

Just a few seconds…minutes, the jar moves fast gradually consuming it’s contents. Almost all have been pulled out. The joy and excitement can be seen of the public faces.

After exactly five minutes.

“ Ok guys I think almost everybody is done picking up. We will call first the guy of course “ the emcee said which referring to Mr. Christmas 2021.

On the table near to the garden was occupied Garee’s group. Garee feels uncomfortable to the fact that she didn’t open yet the picked sticky note. She’s not on the mood. Earlier she was restless in the chair wondering whether to be opened it or not. But she thought to open it later after the man called.

“ Please may we call on Mr. Christmas 2021 to come over here in the front. Whoever you are picked that title? “ the voice of emcee mixed to the screaming employees after seeing the guy keeps walking approaching in the front.

It’s no other than their millennial boss. Garee was shocked on it.

“ Oh my God…cannot hide in the face of emcee after seeing the guy in her front. Introducing our Mr. Christmas 2021 is our very young millennials CEO of Aqua Leisure Corporation it’s no other than Mr. Sid Casa Villa.”

“ Big congratulations Sir “ the emcee said while the sash is pinning to the title winner.

Sid has naughty eye seemed looking for something around.

“ Now this is it! This is really is it! Please may we call on to come over here in the front who picked the title for Ms. Christmas 2021 “ a round of applause, at the same time screaming everyone that full of excitement for the next happening.

“ Please anybody from the group who picked the title for Ms. Christmas 2021? “ the emcee was announced again as nobody coming in the front. From there Garee’s attention has been called. She decided for one thing strongly did which made her shocked and almost freeze on the chair.

Is she dreaming?

Why do the chance playing at her?

Why she seems to be trying the opportunity?

Does she see correctly in the sticky note on her palm at the moment?

“ Ms. Christmas 2021 “ she can’t believe that she got the title and the guy in the front which she can’t more believe so, while seeing that guy her boss, her beloved man but the ruthless one who hurt her deeply.

“ Once again I am calling the attention of everyone. Please whoever you are lucky winner of Ms. Christmas 2021 please feel free to come over here as our Mr. Christmas 2021 is waiting for you. “ the emcee announced again.

Garee was stand up already but she is hesitant if will go to the front or better go to the toilet instead. She chose the last one her foot is about to step when she heard a voice coming in their table.

“ Hey! Ms. Christmas 2021 is here ! “ She was shocked when realized that she forgot to close the paper and had just only pinched under the wallet on the table.

Going to toilet was delayed as people gaze focused on her. She heard different whispers coming around. She did nothing but go to the front.

“ Bravo…a perfect combination of our Mr. & Ms. Christmas our beloved CEO – Mr. Sid Casa Villa and her respective adorable Executive Assistant Ms. Margaret Mary Dimayuga. “ obviously people around them are very much happy for them.

“ They are perfect together “

Those words buzzing everywhere while receiving her sash. But it is an opposite of emerging rough patch between the two winners. Her smile was not so real at the moment she knew that Sid was also on the same guts as she saw a lifeless smile on his face. It was not real. It was fake. That is her speculations based on its actions.

People around them had not contented by teasing them until requested to give a kiss on her cheek from Sid.

She is not happy as she knew that it was just forced to do for the sake of having people fun. There is no impact for both of them. But there really isn’t? Maybe their pride is just covering it up.
