He realized himself knocking on the door but Garee did not open it so he can’t do anything except returning back to his room and force to sleep.

She really wanted opening the door to express feelings the same but she is afraid and ashamed, enough has happened and must be forgotten.

In the morning weather is calm already. No rain. Clouds is clear with blue ice dots. New morning symbolize as new hope. Sunrise is inviting over there. The water on the road has been reduced as well. Vehicles freely passing by. That’s what opened the window for her.

Along the way to office they are both observing silent, Awkwardness in between and nobody wants to talk or initiates topic. She did not ask Sid to drop her in their home to change outfit since she has new clothes gave by Sid it’s the one wore.

The silence is deafening. Sid could not stand it, he opens the radio so they can hear a voice or song on air. What a coincidence when chance fits in a situation. The listener shared to the disk jockey a love story about one manager and one secretary who got fell in love with each other. Later requested for a love song who sung by David Pomeranz. Indeed music is a vital part of our life. Somehow, it is a way of expressing our feelings as well as emotions. Most people consider music as a escape tools from the pain of life. They use it as an outlet to cover the pain. Because it gives relief, source of entertainment and allows reducing distress.

They looked each other at the same time. Most likely they both think the same. What a very inspiring a love song for lovebirds.

They had just listened the entire song which is entitled “ Born for you “ that no words came out from each other until they reached in the office.

Few personnel gazing at them as it is very rare that they will come together in the office. The employees greeted them but they had received not only greetings.

“ Boss Sid and Ma’am Garee you look good together. “ The old man employee said teasing them while smiling.

Their face had blushed and could not speak except for the smile. Looks like they are teen ager who are joking because they admire each other. They arrived inside the office still quiet estimating each other who will speak first.

After preparing outgoing documents for the day. She sat down in front of her laptop to check inbound and outbound emails. There is one email who had distracted her attention as she is in carbon copy. This email is new. It was an invitation for a conference to discuss business proposal between Aqua Leisure and a prospect client from a business man named Mr. George Smith British owner of Green Vida Leisure Los Angeles, California a multi stock holder that wants to invest in the new project of Aqua Leisure. It is a construction of a new farm resort given name as “ Paradiso Verde “ located in the nearby provinces.

Their company was very stable no wonder as it has a well competent CEO and that is her beloved boss.

The day is over but Sid and Garee never talked personally except through phone calls, text messaging and emails. No one has come up about what had happened last night on his condo unit. At least they will return to the previous set up which is purely work matters only.

After two days. Sid did not come in the office. She’s wondering why she was not informed, with her respect as EA at least she knew the reason when somebody ask. She is trying to call him but it was unattended or out of coverage area, sending text messages as well but no response yet until now. What’s happening to her boss? What’s really happening? What right does she have to worry about?

She looked on the table of Sid. It’s coat still hanging on the swivel chair. There is no CCTV inside their office. She slowly approached and sat down in it’s swivel chair. She took the coat and slowly hugged it and placed it on her chest and felt the scent. Admit it or not. She’s missing Sid. She closed her eyes and remembers what had happened to them in the condo unit.

“ I should not be feeling this way now. “

“ I love you…I love you so much Sid “

“ I miss you a lot “ the voice said loudly.

She can no longer lie on herself as she could still feel every touch of his lips on her skin not just only to skin but including sensitive parts where she could almost give herself up to it. Save at least she was controlled her mind than heart that time because by chance she had lost her virginity . But honestly she needs to keep it as a hidden things about wherein Sid should not know by then. She almost rolled over in the chair after seeing her phone glowing light.

“ Sir Sid good morning. How are you Sir? Do you feel alright? Almost a days didn’t see you here in the office so I’m wondering what is happening to you? “ she kept saying. She embarassed herself after realizing that was being said was overacting. On the other line Sid has a wide smile actually he meant not to show up for two days as he wants to think that’s why yesterday morning he went up in the farm had horse back riding and picking up some fruit trees.

“ Sorry Sir I didn’t gave you a chance to talk “

“ No! it’s fine just forget everything. “ She was very hurt by what the boss said. Does that mean she forgets everything that happened? Things has been cleared when she heard a voice of a woman over the line.

“ Hi Darling good morning. Please have your breakfast. Eat well because after you eat I’m the one who will gonna eat you as I really miss you so much in bed.” Sophia said tenderly while Sid is staring in the distance. He could not understand everything happens to him lately. He knew to himself that his ferocity in bed was still on fire in bed but one thing could not reach his mind is the thing that seems urge looking for something which he could not yet determine.

Why do she still need to be heard in such conversations?

After almost 1 week.

Cold treatment is real between Sid and Garee. They are only talking in the office about business matters like today morning when Sid came. She just made a cup of coffee gave to Sid then immediately returned on her table. After few minutes he received a call from the landline from her boss.

“ Ms. Margaret Dimayuga actually I called you as I want to discuss with you something very important. I want you to handle this. “ Sid says quickly straight looking in her eyes then handed her a piece of paper.

This is about only job nothing personal involved. She remembered an email and this is the one after she glimpsed at the paper. She became more professional instead.

“ This client was very meticulous. As we all know this is a running business so we can step ahead at a time, reach our target in just one shot…that’s it. I don’t want to lose this client Garee so I want you to do your best to get this client to invest to us closed the deal right away, in the end all of us will get benefits the same got my point. It will be happened absolutely when they amazed to our presentation so meaning to say it’s all depends on you my dear“ every word is fluent and full of determination.

She felt slight fears not because she cannot do the task but rather her nervous when she knew that Sid is around which staring at her when she is doing the presentation. That’s the thing she’s very weak. But as they there were times that mind is bigger than heart when you want to prove something will test a prowess.

“ Noted Sir Sid. I will try my best“ she answered quickly also.

“ No! You will not try. Do it. “ Sid said firmly

Sid is ruthless in word. He don’t want maybe but surely.

“ No worries only one day allotted for conference and the rest remaining two days is for beach outdoor socializations. Prepare yourself. Prepare everything as necessary. I believe one week is enough have a break Garee so you can plan ahead. I am looking forward to the best positive output. So! Let’s bring it on Ms. Dimayuga and I am sure you will enjoy the place too. “

“ I believe no need Sir. It’s alright. I can manage my time accordingly. “ she refused to go on break just to prepare for the said presentation.

“ Very well said! Ms. Dimayuga that’s why you impress me so much with you. “ she ignored hint from it

“ No Sir! I am just doing only my job in this company. Thank you Sir.”

Every night spending time in front of her laptop, sleeping late at night as she want to focus more on doing slides presentation using power point. She did exactly 5 slides only, think is enough as she don’t want to have a boring presentation if it too much. She will tackle the significant topics only.

On the next day when she came in the office her boss was already there. She is not late. It is 7:45 am. Anyway, his boss is an image of workaholic boss as they say “ early bird catches the worm “ which is really true because of his life achievements. Most of the CEO she knew it’s very rare to come in the office but Sid is different as almost completing one week attendance unless there is business meetings, out of the country or out of town.

“ Hello good morning Sir “ she greeted in casual voice

“ Hi good morning Ms. Dimayuga “ Sid answered with the eye focused on the laptop.

She is about to keep walking in her cubicle when Sid spoke again.

“ Anyway how’s everything with you? “

“ Ahhh…it’s ok Sir “ not a lively answer. Sid was obviously irritated.

“ Be specific Ms. Dimayuga as I don’t want a vague answer. Is that how you will show up when speaking to client? If so, most likely now I will tell you do expect a deal closing. “

Calmed herself before speaks up.

“ Sir I believe saying “OK” is a general answer.” she said in a low voice. She don’t want to argue even if it looks like she is looking for a hole so they can get angry.

“ Then I always wanted specific answer not a general. “ in a sarcastic voice

“ Sir you will have it before the end of the day. “

“ Alright! Expecting. “

“ Copy Sir “ that’s only she said and returned quickly on her desk.

Concealed on her knowledge watching him for a long time as she walked.

This is the message has been pop up in the monitor. As she said draft slides presentation shall be sent before the end of the day. So! Here it is. Done. On the contrary she understand Sid in a way that it needs to be fully reviewed before it finalized. Of course she don’t want to put a shame on the good name of the company most especially that she don’t want to be embarassed to her boss.

She took a shower before she decided to lie down in bed. Felt the comfort of the back resting on the soft bed. Took a book beside small table keeps reading while waiting gets drowsy. But before finally falling asleep her phone rang but cut right away. She checked it just to surprise.

She received a miscall from Sid. Why is it? After a few seconds he received a text message for the same.

“ Good night Ms. Dimayuga. Enough for today take a rest and sleep. “

Will she be happy or gets annoyed at its treatment of him so weird it’s just like unpredictable weather? She smiled at the antics imaginable.

She didn’t reply on the text message even she liked it too. She thought of the women in Sid’s life. Furthermore, would stand up to avoid Sid because she might eventually be the only one hurt. It is hard to love someone like this so high and worshiped by people.

Saturday early morning just like his usual routine every weekend. He went on the farm to breathe fresh air. He parked the land rover nearby. From there he overshadows in the mango tree that is beginning to bloom. There is a bamboo pallet there.
