Agnes had not been able to grapple with the reality that her the man who she saw as a friend was just also playing with her along with the man that broke her heart was now in front of her she did not have enough time to react and then he suddenly hugged her pulling her close to himself.
” it's really long time no see how have you been I've been trying to reach you but I don't know why my number isn't working did something happened to your pho-"
He was barely done talking when pascal's suddenly shoved him aside just
“what do you think you are doing who the hell are you?"
Clint looked at him with an icy glare,” you know what I could also ask you the same question who the hell are you and what do you think you are doing you are at you now you better get away from this woman if you know what is good for you..."
"Get away from her? I practically came here with her you are the one who is just coming out of the blue and hugging and she's not even responding to you maybe you should be the one to get out!"
Agnes was looking at both me and wondering what had gotten into them they had literally just met each other and they were trying to tear their throats out she held up her hands to signal them to allow her to speak.
"Clinton look I'm very busy right now I'll try to return your calls if I have the time but right now I need to go with this friend of mine..."
Then she turned over to face Pascal who was wearing a smirk that was bigger than his face.
“you heard her you need to move along right now..."
He did not want to pay any attention to the man that was annoying him by each passing second and he reached over to hold Agnes by the wrist.
"Please can we just talk right now I won't take much of your time but it's really important..."
He leaned over and whispered in a hushed voice.
"It's about Ethan..."
For the second time Clinton found himself being shoved away by the man he had found Agnes with and now it was more annoying than the last.
"Are you there didn't you hear her she said that she had somewhere to go to ?"and then he pulled her closer to himself as his smile got impossibly bigger.
Clinton look between the two of them and then side mouthing the words please call me to Agnes.
"So are you going to tell me who that guy is?"
Agnes decided that there was no need to hold back the information from him and as they were entering the car she supplied him with information.
"His name is Clinton, and he is Ethan's second-in-command or would you say his right hand man and his best friend...."
She paused for a moment.
"Do you think that I should have talked to him? he said it was very important and he looked so desperate..."
He could feel his fingers tightening on the wheel when she said that and he had to have lost himself before he swerved into a pot hole.
"I don't think that there is any use of bothering yourself with someone like that I don't think he's going to be someone worth all that stress you don't even need to be talking with it until now that I think about it..."
You couldn't help but a little bit of bitterness seeped into his words as he spoke.
"Actually you know what I'm actually going to think about it since it seems like Ethan is now becoming more stressful than necessary..."
With that she leaned back on the car seat.
"Do you mind if I nap for you all of this has just been so exhausting and I woke up earlier than usual today...
"You don't have to explain yourself so much if you need to take a rest and go ahead and take one..."
She didn't say anything for a few moments then she adjusted her seatbelt and rested her head on the car seat headrest then it with a soft smile she thanked him and went to sleep.
It was when she went to sleep that he began to steal more glances at her then he noticed that she had come out without wearing a bra and he could see the orbs on her chest true shape.
He immediately felt his pants tighten up at that moment and flung his eyes away trying to keep himself focused on the road. He kept reminding himself that he had assured his friend that he would not get too close to this woman.
And yet he had jumped on her call the moment she just requested for something without any hesitation what exactly was wrong with him? It had been a while since he was in a relationship since those things were not really for him and he did not see what his bestfriend found so appealing about them.
Most of the time people would tease him that he was practically dating his work and so he was already taken a lot of women in the office had tried their luck with him to see if they will be the one to finally enter his heart but all had failed to be anything more than a fleeting entertainment that did not even last long.
But yet here this woman was practically not doing anything else but breathing and he found out that he could not help but always find himself drawn to her.
