Agnes look that are fun for the millionth time and dropped it again on the couch pillow then she looked at it again and then simultaneously after that dropped it on the table with a heavy sigh.
“are you expecting a call or something you seem to be looking at your phone an awful lot."
She almost just right out of her skin when she had Pascal's voice from over her shoulder and turned over to face him with a frown on her face.
” since when did you start sneaking up on me like that I hope that's the first time last time because it's not funny in the slightest how did you even come in when did you come in?“
He looked at her as if you're just asked when or how Bridges were made and he kept looking at her in such a manner before he finally decided that he had made her uncomfortable enough to finally speak.
” can someone surprise you again what's with the attitude or is there something that you are hiding that you don't want anyone to see?“
She looked at him the way someone would look at undisposed trash and then finally hissed in his direction before turning over the back to the TV and grabbing the remote to flip through some channels.
” you know what honestly I don't blame you I blame myself for even bothering to talk to you at all what was expecting that would happened, by the way what are you even doing here?“
Pascal took his time in settling in one of the couches as if she had never asked the question then when he was fully comfortable he sat up a bit and crossed his hands together.
” That question sounds very rich coming from you Agnes after all the owner of this mansion is my best friend and business partner and you are just a fake girlfriend what makes you think you have any more rights to be here than me I hope you're not forgetting your place“
When having his head this her fingers tightened up on the remote and she looked at him as if she was about to fling it on his forehead at that moment he had to be really out of his mind to be talking to her like this the butler was one issue to deal with but this was too much for her.
Even though she couldn't exactly say that Pascal was her friend or anything like that they got along well enough and spoke to each other formally but now he was speaking to her in such a demeaning manner as if she was just a prostitute that he could play around with because they had given her some money.
She finally drop the remote and decided to turn over to him so that they would beat the matter to death now instead of prolonging it she wanted him to get out with what he was going to say.
” in case you don't know I sign a contract with Mr Jones and therefore we are actually business partners as well so I don't apprecia-“
She wasn't done talking when he burst into laughter as if what she said was the most hilarious thing in the world at that moment and he all but rolled onto the floor with laughter when was finally done with it and wiping tears of his face he looked at her and then resume the all over again.
” are you out of your mind or something?“
She could not help but ask him because that was exactly how he was acting at the moment and she did not like it at all, since he was deciding that he was going to act like that she decided that she did not even want to be in the same room as him and he was getting up he suddenly grabbed her hand pulling her back to the couch with a forceful jerk.
” what the heck? what are you doing right now?Pascal let go of me right this minute!“
The male in front of her greeted in the play then he breathed out calmly as if he was trying to control himself at that moment then when his eyes were back in her they were red and full of fury that she had never seen on Pascal before so much that it made all the hairs in the back of her neck to stand.
”Now listen very closely you little ingrate if it wasn't for me and my friend you would practically be in the streets right now so what you should be doing is licking our booths ... infact...“
His eyes got darker as he let go of her and she could feel the forming bruises left with the imprint in her hand as she gasped sitting up at that moment.
"I'll let all t. Impunity that you have been showing recently if you lick my shoe right now .."
He placed his shoe on the couch with a smirk on his face looking at her frozen one.
"So you are you staying that making me do this will allow you to forgive me?"
He nodded the smile on his lips growimg even wider as he waited for her to do exactly that with the smile never wavering, in the office his friend had become a laughing stock ajd even the letter boy was giggling when he passed by.
He didn't know what kind of charm that she had on him that made him to be acting like he had lost all sense of reasoning when it came to her, made it so easy for him to ignore all the snide remarks that would frustrate practically anyone at all.
"Well are you getting along with it or not?"
He asked when he saw that she was hesitating a lot , her eyes looked up at him as if that was the first time that she had ever seen him.
