The sudden kiss left Cen Jin a bit flustered and surprised, her eyes wide as she looked at him. But Jiang Baizhou remained calm and, as he passed by her, naturally took her hand and led her toward the car parked outside.

"Have you had breakfast?" After getting in the car, Jiang Baizhou buckled his seatbelt. As he started the car, he asked.

"Yeah, I have." Cen Jin nodded and turned to look at him, "What about you?"

"Not yet, want to join me for breakfast?"

When they arrived at the breakfast shop, Cen Jin looked at the breakfast items, thought for a moment, and couldn’t resist saying to the owner with a smile, "Boss, I’ll have one of these too!"

Jiang Baizhou watched her eat with more gusto than himself and raised his eyebrows, asking, "Didn’t you say you already ate?"

"I wasn’t full. I haven’t had this vermicelli in a long time. Seeing it suddenly made me miss it," Cen Jin said, grinning as she ate.

Jiang Baizhou didn’t say much, just took the poached egg from his bowl and placed it in hers. Cen Jin glanced at him when she saw this, noting his calm demeanor as he ate. She didn’t ask questions, just divided the poached egg in two and returned half to him, smiling, "I did eat before coming out, but there’s too much, and it would be a shame to waste it."

Hearing her words, Jiang Baizhou accepted the half poached egg and ate it.

When they reached the studio door, Cen Jin was about to get out of the car and suddenly thought to ask, "Will you be very busy today?"

"Yeah, buy one for me too while you’re at it." Jiang Baizhou responded lazily, his tone full of leisure and ease.

Lu Xize grew even more suspicious. He was used to Jiang Baizhou’s usual indifference and aloofness, but now he was responding to jokes and even joining in. Normally, at times like these, he’d give Lu Xize a cold shoulder without a second glance, leaving him behind entirely.
