So much happened today.

First, I was kidnapped by men in black, then I waited for Ethan Sterling to come rescue me, but unexpectedly, he didn’t even glance at me.

President Larkin spoke with utmost respect, "You don’t understand, Young Master Sterling didn’t even blink at the sight of his brother’s blood finger, yet he rushed to save your daughter. Isn’t it true love?"

"Oh, hehe, Ethan is naturally very fond of our Mona."

Jonathan no longer referred to Ethan as Young Master Sterling, showing his own elevated status.

"Haha, well, you take care, that business deal we hadn’t finalized, I’ll sign the contract and have it sent over tomorrow!" President Larkin laughed obsequiously.

Jonathan hung up the phone.

Mia stared at Jonathan, her face full of terror, "Dad! If Ethan finds out about this..."
