Chapter 73: Chapter 73

Nanny Lynch hurriedly denied: "Of course not, Miss is doing so well right now!"

"I’ll explain it all to you later, let’s go first."

Seraphina Redgrave dragged the man slumped on the ground up, and began to walk him out: "Let’s go."

The man in black was seeing stars from the pain, yet he was still forced to walk out by Seraphina with a gun.

"Nanny Lynch, Granny Coleman, stand behind me," Seraphina instructed them.

Outside, it was all men in black holding guns.

The leader of the men in black wore a mask, standing at the forefront with his hands behind his back, a look of admiration under the mask: "You’re quite skilled."

More than just skilled, being able to face off against two desperados alone was already very impressive.

Seraphina wasted no words.

"What about Mia Redgrave?" the man in black asked.

"What does her life or death have to do with me? She’s in your hands; how to deal with it is your own business. Once we leave, we’ll pretend this never happened, I promise to keep my word," Seraphina looked at the man in black.

"But when you were captured today, you were standing together. Who knows what your relationship with Mia is, and whether you will help them plan once you leave."

Seraphina found these ramblings annoying: "So, you want to continue the match? I don’t mind."

After speaking, she took three big steps forward, moving Granny Coleman and Nanny Lynch away from the battlefield.

Before she finished speaking, a man in black hurried in: "Leader, Ethan Sterling said earlier that those things can be negotiated, but he wants to come personally to see these people."

The man in black himself did not expect Ethan Sterling to actually agree to their demands: "This hostage is quite something, thought we’d at least have to cripple one of Mia Redgrave’s hands for Ethan to give in."

Seraphina also raised an eyebrow.

"Exactly." A subordinate of the man in black laughed and said: "Last time, a group of people kidnapped Ethan’s brother. Although he’s an illegitimate child of his father, they at least share blood. Ethan didn’t care at all, thought he had no weaknesses. Didn’t expect it was just because of the wrong hostages, this woman is really his biggest weakness."

Didn’t even glance at his real brother, yet he has a soft spot for Mia Redgrave.

"Since Ethan agreed, give him the address and tell him that he’s only allowed to bring one person," the leader of the men in black looked over at Seraphina: "Miss, I admit your skills are indeed impressive. There’s no need for us to fight anymore. This is about to end, so to be safe, once it ends, we’ll let you go without a scratch. How about it?"

Seraphina couldn’t just ruin their plan just like that.

At this point, if she still insisted on leaving, it would only raise suspicion among the men in black. Thinking of this, Seraphina nodded, agreeing to the man in black’s request: "Alright."

She already had a weapon in hand, not afraid of lacking the ability to protect herself.

"Good!" The leader’s eyes were full of satisfaction as he told two of his subordinates: "Accompany this lady to entertain her, make sure there’s nothing lacking in hospitality or it’ll be on you!"

Said nicely, but it was just them watching over them.

Having reached a conclusion, the leader of the men in black didn’t linger, and took the rest of his men to the factory to set things up, planning to capture Ethan upon his arrival.

Seraphina, armed with a gun and a knife, returned to the room with Nanny Lynch and Granny Coleman.

Nanny Lynch was somewhat agitated: "What exactly is Young Master Sterling thinking? His temperament is so strange here with Miss, yet he’s taking that vixen to parties and coming to rescue her."

Even neglecting his own safety.

Seraphina glanced at the two men in black by the wall. If they discovered Seraphina’s connection with Ethan, they wouldn’t be able to leave today.

After receiving special attention, leaving would only become troublesome. Ethan wouldn’t care about her, he was here to save Mia Redgrave.

"You have such good skills, even a Muay Thai champion can’t beat you." One of the men in black clearly had an interest in Seraphina, eyes full of excitement, "Can you tell me?"

"Spar with me and you’ll understand."

Seraphina, covered in bloodstains, glanced at the man in black who spoke.

"Forget it, I can’t even beat the men you took down earlier, how could I match up to you," the kidnapper leader shook his head like a rattle drum, "I just want to learn from you."

Hearing this, Seraphina turned her head: "Alright, but I have a condition, I want to see what happens later."

She wanted to see what Ethan’s attitude towards Mia was, to prepare for dealing with the Redgrave Family in the future.

"Why do you want to see this?" The kidnapper didn’t quite understand.

"I’ve only ever seen Ethan on TV before, wanted to chase a star in real life, is that a problem?" Seraphina said casually.

Granny Coleman and Nanny Lynch sat by the side, not daring to speak further.

The man in black seemed convinced by Seraphina’s excuse, as Ethan was indeed a mythical man. Not to mention Seraphina, he himself was quite interested: "Alright, be good and I’ll take you to a good vantage point to see."

As the sky slowly darkened, she showed the man in black one or two moves, and then heard the sound of a car engine approaching.

Judging by the sound, the car was speeding all the way here. Read complete versıon only at N()velFire.net

Seraphina stood by the window, shifted to hide herself, and took a glance downstairs. A black luxury car drifted to a stop below.

Just that one car, parked in front of a factory hiding dozens of people.

Such a grand entrance, but it was for Mia Redgrave.

Seraphina sighed inwardly, realizing that the previous plan had really failed.

"Wow! Isn’t this the luxury car that was auctioned for a high price?" The man in black couldn’t help but exclaim with a casual glance.

Seraphina watched as the men in black downstairs orderly swarmed out, guns in hand, surrounding the luxury car with the loaded muzzles aiming at the driver’s seat.

The doors swung open wide, like bloodthirsty birds lurking in the dark.

The ones who got out were Ethan Sterling and Nathan Ayers. Ethan, in his black shirt, looked even more imposing as he stepped out. The men in black all instantly got into combat mode, with their muscles taut, as if facing not just two leisurely men, but a well-equipped army.

A man in black, holding a gun, spoke.

Ethan tilted his head slightly, a bloodthirsty smile on his lips: "You think you’re worthy?"

The men in black glanced at their leader, as Seraphina watched them take out an infrared scanner.

The men in black scanned carefully, but found nothing.

"Young Master Sterling, please,"

The leader of the men in black spoke, as if inviting Ethan to some kind of banquet.

Ethan took off his sunglasses and walked into the factory, his expression calm as if he’s on a tour.

Seraphina watched from her observer’s seat, seeing as her man in black headed out, following him to a spot with a good view to look down.

Everyone below was cautious, with men in black placed almost in every corner, and snipers on each floor. Should Ethan show any sign of resistance, he would be shot down in an instant, dying without a whole corpse.

The factory’s first floor was set with ordinary wooden tables and chairs, and Ethan didn’t mind, sitting down.

Not long after, a sound came from the doorway.
