His dark eyes, his serious gesture, his lopsided smile and that chilling aspect of him she knows very well, how is it that this man is there, in front of her and looking at her body with such lust? Daniel wanted to run away from him but the man took her by her arm to which she froze. She does not forget what he did to her the last time she had the unfortunate happiness of being with him. "Leave me please," she asked with a trembling voice when she saw the malevolent smile of the man.

"As much as I would like to finish what I started months ago, I can't, Meyer and I have an important deal that of course I want him to break to finally put my hands on you," he abruptly released her and Daniel took two steps back, only that allowed her to breathe, “this is my project,” he looked around, “Meyer does all the work, pays for it and once his earnings are finished and the entire building will belong to me.” Daniel frowned when she remembered that day that the man in front of her kidnapped her and Yazahib went to rescue her.

"It's a living," she said, unable to contain her words before they left her mouth, she immediately regretted it when the man became serious.

"I’m playboy? I am simply taking what belongs to me, I am making him pay me for all the damage he caused me.” Daniel wanted to ask what that damage is but the man spoke first, “I appreciate the information you have given me. From now on, you and I are going to see each other very often,” he looked at her belly and Daniel covered it with fear, “don't tell your boyfriend or try to change the project because you'll make everything worse. You don't want anything to happen to your son and your dear boyfriend, right?” Laughing, he walked away from her turning his back on her, “see you architect, do a good job with my building.”

Daniel's body feels cold and she won't stop shaking, she really knows that this man can harm her and Yazahib so she decided not to say anything. Her phone notified her of a message and she shuddered when she felt it vibrate, when reading she tensed and fear was specified. In the message there is a photo of Yazahib at the meeting, how is it possible? It is just the clothes that Yazahib has that day, who is undercover, giving information to that man? Maybe I should tell Derek? In response to her last question came a new message from the unknown number.

"Save my beautiful number, and don't even think about telling someone about this because you and your dear boyfriend will have a very bad time, especially the baby you carry in your womb."

Daniel covered her mouth and wanted to cry but she was aware of the workers around her so she swallowed her tears and controlled herself so as not to be exposed. Why is this man doing this to her? Why, if Yazahib gave him what he wants, does he insist on scaring her? Why does he say that Yazahib damaged him? With all the questions and confusion in her head, she decided to go to her job. Her daughter began to move and she knows that it is because of her restlessness, her baby feels everything.

"Easy, Perla, we're fine, everything will be fine," she whispered to herself. Everything will be fine because she won't say anything and trusts that Yazahib will never break that deal he has with that bad man who beat her and tried to abuse her months before.

“Architect,” the foreman of the project approached her with a big smile when he saw her so deep in her thoughts, “how are you?”

Daniel came back to reality and gave him a big smile, she didn't hear what he said but still answered. "Horacio, you know, I'm here to check the place and that's it."

The man chuckled as he confirmed that her body is there but her mind is not, "I liked seeing it," said the man without mentioning anything about her being distracted. "Be very careful, architect, we are in the middle of construction and sometimes the boards fall from two floors above," he warned her.

Daniel nodded and after thanking him, she continued on her way to do her job so that she could leave once and for all.

Once his work was finished, Derek went through as he promised, Daniel thanked him that he would not take long to go for her, she really needed to get out of that building. Derek was surprised by Daniel's silence and decided to put on some music, but even so she didn't react and that worried him more. "Are you okay?" He glanced at her but she didn't even move. "Daniel, are you okay?" He insisted with more determination, this time getting results.

Daniel looked at him and smiled, “yes, I'm fine," she sighed deeply, "it's just that I miss Simone." She told the truth, now she needs her friend, even if she can't tell him the truth, she knows that next to him, it feels good.

Derek smiled, “soon he will forgive himself and he will accept the forgiveness you will give him."

Daniel denied, "I don't have to forgive him, he just wanted the best for me, he just wanted me to be okay. How to blame him for something like that? Besides, he talks to you and he talks to Yazahib, why not talk to me?” her eyes crystallized with sadness.

"Hey, don't cry" Derek stopped at a red light and looked at her, “calm, everything will be fine.”

“Darling!" Daniel jumped into Simone's arms and hugged him so tightly that he complained in amusement, "oh God, you're here, you're finally here," she started crying and Simone smiled. Her pregnancy makes her cry very easily.

"I never left, I just punished myself for what I did to you and Derek."

Daniel pulled away and looked him in the eye, “you don't have to punish yourself, you didn't have to. Darling, you only took care of me, you only wanted my good and that is what I love about you,” she hugged him again and kissed his cheek, “do not walk away from me again please, I forbid you to do it.”

Simone, full of happiness, nodded, he thinks about doing it again, he can't be without his teddy, "I will not leave you anymore because there is no life if you are not here, I think Nicole is tired of me calling her every day." Daniel laughed, now she understand why her aunt always calls her to tell her about Simone and that she should make peace.

"Okay, come on, please sit down," Derek pulled out a chair for each of them and they sat down.

"Good afternoon," the waitress greeted, “my name is Wen and I will be the one to take care of you today. Do you want wine?” Derek nodded and asked for a fresh orange juice for Daniel.

After asking for Daniel, Derek and Simone caught up on everything they had done that day and Simone told them how bad it was when he was away from his Teddy. While they are having fun talking, someone curses them deeply for the bad thing that Simone does, with him at lunch he can't get more photos, so he just left, he already took some and those should serve him.

Upon arriving at the company, Daniel went directly to the presidential floor to meet Yazahib, she knows that he will be starving so she decided to bring food for him. Upon reaching the floor, she smiled at the receptionist and went straight to Yazahib's office.

"My queen," Yazahib put the papers aside and rose to receive his bride. When he was close to her, he hugged her and kissed hers on her lips, Daniel felt protected and safe, she knows that Yazahib takes care of her, he always does even if he does not know that she is being threatened.

"Hello dear," Daniel kissed him again and laughed when she felt her daughter move, "someone is also happy to hear you."

Yazahib widened his smile and leaned down to kiss Daniel's swollen belly, “hi my beautiful Pearl, dad is very happy that you move for him.” Daniel laughed this time, her daughter has a party in her womb, loves to feel her move like this, “that's my dear, dad loves you to do it. I love you so much honey, I want so much to have you in my arms that Mommy is already tired of my impatience.”

Daniel stroked Yazahib's head and then his cheek once straightened. She looked into his eyes tenderly and smiled in the same way, "I love you, I love you with all my soul. You and our daughter are the most important thing in my life and for you I want everything.”

Yazahib excitedly kissed Daniel's lips, "I love you too, I live and die for you two," saying those words, he took Daniel by the hand and led her to the sofa to sit down so that he could have lunch with the woman he loves.
