Joanna Marie’s POV

It’s been a week since the party.

Gradually Aliyah and I caught up with the times we were apart. I mean, the ‘no communication at all’ moments in our lives.

I was on my way to her condo. She also moved to the unit that her parents gave as a gift. It is also not far from their house.

I was about to enter the elevator when someone suddenly bumped into me. I looked at him.

It’s him again, Tatsi.

"Are you following me?" He is trying to tease me but I just pouted. I am not following him... And why would I follow him in the first place? It is just that Aliyah needs to conduct an interview with me which is needed for her school project.

I was the first one who took the first step inside the elevator. Since I have given the privilege to operate the button of the elevator, I made sure that Tatsi would not be able to join me inside it.

When I arrived at Aliyah's unit, Ruzzel was also there.

"Hello, Joana!" Ruzzel greeted me, I waved at him.

"Joana, come here, let's go." Aliyah cheered.

I immediately sat down next to her.

"So, shall we start?"

I nodded.

Aliyah has a project. It’s an interview for one of her subjects. I am the one she chose for that, and it is my pleasure.

"What's your favorite band?" Aliyah started asking me.

"Eh?" Favorite band? Why is that the kind of question she wanna ask?

"Your fave band ..." she repeated.

"Nothing in particular .. why?"

"That is the question written here … so I asked you."

"Okay." What is the subject of her project? Is it music-related?

"Next. What is your favorite locale band?"

"Ehh ?? Sorry?"

"Favorite locale band. Joana, the truth? Are you deaf?"

"Why are the questions goes like that Aliyah? What subject is that?" it seems that the questions are just for kidding thingy. It sounded not so serious at all.

"Ahhhhhmmmm ..." Then she looked at the cover of the notebook she is currently holding...

"Getting to know you," she answered then she smiled.

"That is Tatsi's project. His heart's project. You are his subject. He is so attracted to you, so he wants to know everything about you, Joana." Ruzzel explained. Like, seriously?

I suddenly took the notebook. I looked at the questions. Like, what the hell?

"Tatsi is a nice guy Joana if I were you… give him a chance."

I looked at Aliyah. She smiled at me. She would not tell me to give Tatsi a chance if she is not in favor of the idea.

We did not continue the interview. I thought it was really for the school project but certainly, it is not.

I just answered all the questions written there by writing also the answers in the notebook. Reminds me of a slam book. It might be an old-school way of courting but somewhat, I find it sweet.

The last part of getting to know is the message to the owner. I just laughed… slam book eh?

And so I wrote:

-I have a lot of things to ask you.

After finishing my message, I closed it. I returned the notebook to Aliyah.

We just talked about random topics… then I said goodbye as well.

I was about to go home when someone suddenly called me.

Unknown caller.

I was hesitant to answer but in the end, I end up answering the call.

"Hello?"

"Miss Sison."

"Who is this?”

"Your soon-to-be husband."

"H-ha?" Is the caller trying to play games with me?

“HAHAHHAAHHAHA. This is Tatsi, I am just behind you… Let us have a date. ”

I ended the call. I looked behind me and there he is!

He approached me.

"Are you trying to make fun of me?!?!?!" I asked.

He did not give me an answer.

He just stared at me.

Argggh! I hate him! Not because he is famous, he was given the right to make fun of me! My mind is like a whirlwind since he confessed his feelings! Earlier, I was thinking about giving him a chance but now, I just changed my mind!

“Joana… I am not making fun of you... nor playing games with your feelings. I may seem to appear in front of you now and then but the main reason for that is I want you to notice me. I want you to finally notice my existence. It's the only way I know how to get your eyes focused on me. I like you. I like you, isn’t it obvious yet? Well, I am sorry if I am disturbing you. I just can not help myself but the feelings I have for you keep on digging deeper and deeper every day.”

Suddenly my eyes widened because of what he said.

Oh yes, I told you guys, my mind is like a whirlwind since he confessed.

Mixed emotions.

Until I got home… I was disturbed by what Tatsi told me. It’s a thing between giving him a chance or not.

And my mind was even more confused by the message I received from Lewis.

‘Joana please help me. I need your help. I need to talk to Aliyah and I am running out of time. '

Aliyah and I have not been completely restored the strong bond in our friendship. And there is a big chance that she might reject me again if I will help Lewis this time. What to do?
