**BEAUTY'S POV**
The next morning,I was the first to wake up,after saying my morning prayers,I got up to put everything in order.So ashamed to go out after what happened yesterday,I could remember in detail how Fred made a mockery of me and used me as a play thing.I sat down there on the couch in the room and glanced at Bruno thoughtfully,Alot of things running in my mind,the blanket I used to cover his body, when he slept off last night,lowly slided off from his body.I stood and walked to him to put it back to place.
"You don't have to care,am awake"his voice sneered. I freezed for the moment. Even though I don't know how to start an apology,I was deeply sorry about yesternight.
"Good morning"I greeted almost a whisper.
He ignored me ,got up from the bed and went to the bathroom, unaware of what else to do,I put the blanket back on the bed and went back to the couch
He came back from the bathroom and avoided my eye contact,he left the room without uttering a single word.i have never wanted him to look at me this much.He later went back to the bathroom,it made m wonder if he got bowel problems
There's a knock.
I was glad Jessi's already awake,she came in and noticed the atmosphere but Ignored it
"We will be going to the woods today,come out we are about to start our usual warmup exercise,after that staright to the woods"Jessi sounded excited about the woods photoshoot,but I don't think it's something that interesting.Rigjt now I have alot on my mind.She looked at me and noticed my mood.
"What happened last night?"she snarled ,staring directly into my soul.My eyes open widely,I was stupidly being obvious.
"Nothing...
"I replied nervously.
"Then ,why is your face like poop?"she said with a grimace.
I frowned at her.She sighed and throw herself on the bed.
"Ferd is an asshole,you know, don't let it get to you,who knows he was attracted to you,low-key he know you are beautiful and sexy but don't what to admit it,at least you now know that those men..find you attractive and....
I interrupted"Those men see me as a sex thing,yes he maybe attractive to me just like all my ex boyfriends,for their sexual needs but am not good enough to show to the world here this is my babe,am just...
"Come on beauty don't say such things,you are beautiful, if a man see you as not worthy for a real relationship,then screw him!!,you are beautiful and perfect,if am a man,you should at least have 6 kids by now eeeeeevery 9 months...Our favourite position is going be cow, standing, your backside is already perfectly curved then imagine if you kneel down,then I bend it wel..l
She was demonstrating on the bed,I couldn't take it anymore,I picked a pillow and threw at her
"You are disgusting Jessi"I chuckled out loudly,Crazy virgin!!who would believe her.
A whistle soundsed from outside.Before I could ask Jessi, what's going on out there,Bruno came out of the bathroom.
"Bruno how was your night honey?"Jessi asked
"Thanks to you for helping me up"he replied, slowly."Oh it's nothing"Jessi replied
I stared at him,he didn't even meet my stare,I looked away sadly.He put on a sport polo bd left the room.
"What's up with the both of you,before you were fighting like cat and rat,but now you hardly look in the eyes ,are you shy,did anything happen?"Jessi pestered me with her questions.
"Nothing happened okay!"I snapped getting fed up
"Jeez why are you so fired up, something is definitely wrong...
The whistle sounded again interrupting her.
"I think the game is about to start ,come on get that fat ass up,let's go"
Jessi took my hands and dragged me up.
We both stepped out of the room,heading to the place for the morning workout.
The C.E.O and his roommate was the first to get into the game ,it was racing competition ,the loser will be shot with our water guns and then we will take pics to trade him or her after the trip.
I have always lost to my roomies for the past three years,since I've been working with the company,I guess it's another bad day for me, starting with mockery.
Now it's Jessie and Kathy's turn to race,no doubt Jessi is going to win.Kathy was just kathy walk-ing, like she will always call it.
After the race ,they all messed her up with water guns and pics were taken.
I didn't care to join them cus I knew, I would be the next in line.
"Where is Bruno, it's you guys turn"Jessi told me ,filling up her water gun
"I don't what to play anymore games"I whispered.
"Don't be such a baby,it makes our trip fun,come one, am sure Bruno will be easy on you"she laughed.Jessi is such a pain.Just then those crazy models started screaming,I turned and realized that ,Bruno's out for the game,that's why the noise.
We got to the line.I stole a glance at him but he looked determined to destroy me,so focused and completely ignored my presence.
The whistle was blown,I started running with all my strengtg,yet I was very far behind Bruno
The laughter from our colleagues worsened the situation
"Fatty!!"Kathy yelled out
**JESSI'S POV**
poor Beauty, she's really giving her best,and those girls ,they should shut up for crying out loud,Beauty will definitely cry if she lose to Bruno,and that will give them more reason to laugh at her.
Just then she slipped and fell.I covered my face shamefully,I can't stand it.
A thunderous laughter broke out.But she was really determined, she got and continued.
Bruno looked back for the first time hearing the laughter
Then it wasn't a slip ,he intentionally hit his leg on the floor ,but I don't think that heavy fall was intentional.
"Ouch!!"I snapped with my eyes dimmed.
Beauty ran pass him and won the game.Everywhere was quite,the disappointment was very high on their faces.
"Why did you fall ,sir Bruno!!!"his crazy fan girls cried out
We all rushed to him and shoot out water guns on him where he was laid down,breathless.
He covered his face with his hands, chuckling.I noticed his bruised knee
Wait am I the only one who, noticed he intentionally did that for Bea to win,maybe not, Kathy was fuming at him,I guess she saw it was intentional too.
Bea stared at us breathlessly from where she was seated,she was looking proud
She took a sachet of glucose and licked a good quantity.After the whole stuff , everyone of us went back to prepare for the tour
The bus arrived and we were informed to speed up our preparations.
Bruno got up and started leaping.Beauty went to him and offered a hand,I stared at them as he rejected her offer to help.I walked towards them
"Bea go dress up ,i will help him with the first aid"She nodded and went back to their room
** IN THE WOODS**
**BEAUTY'S POV**
We got to the place , everyone looked excited,well except me,Bruno been quite cold towards me,and sometimes I felt like crying out loud,I wondered am this afffected by him recently.
I damped off, the tear struggling to get out of my eyes,with my finger and followed behind .
We walked into the woods and got to a beautiful site,the director suggested that we take few shots here,The models were attended to.The photographers set their stuffs and director looked out for a good background ad angle.The atmosphere was friendly and the trees in here were enchanting,I admired every one of them.
We almost set for the photoshoots,thenSuddenly ,Mrs Mirabel screamed out.
"I can't find my baby!!!"
"You have a baby?"Jessi asked almost annoyed.
Everyone of us well except for Jessi looked at her worried, paying attention to what she want was about to say.
"He's a sweet baby , please help me find my baby"she cried more.it made me uncomfortable seeing her like that,she was a great woman bit none of us has seen this baby if us,so we stood completely confused.
"Her pet is a chicken"one of her servants cleared us.
"Awwww!!so sorry"Others chorused.
"We will help get your baby back"I hugged and consoled her
"Who keeps a chicken for a pet!!!,some of the wild animal must have used it for breakfast" Jessi snapped with a sneer.
"That's a rude remark Jessi,this woman been kind towards us"I whispered
She rolled her eyes."Don't worry mah everyone of us will help"
CEO Ferd stated.
" Crew let's start the search"The director instructed.
"Let's divide into 8 parts,the roommate duo,will do together"
We all agreed,even though I only mumbled in agreement.I walked to the other side,Bruno hesitated then followed me.
We walked and searched the bushes in silence.i was getting nervous and seriously pissed about the fact that he made up his mind to pretend I didn't exist.I got to a thicker side of the forest, unknown to me there's a huge hole there but the leaves covered it,I took a step and fell into it.
A loud scream escaped from my mouth.I kept sliding down the hole,I was so scared and started crying out loudly in horror.
"Beauty!!"I heard Jessie's voice called out
**BRUNO'S POV**
As soon as she slipped and fell into the big hole ,I went after her as fast as I could
I got to end of it,it was a deep River.
"Help please I can't swim, please..."I heard her voice,I sighted her at the middle of the river,she went into the water,then her head up and coughed out breathlessly.she was a very terrible swimmer ,that it scared me if I could save her on time.
"Please ,I don't want to die this way"she cried out
Thank goodness, am a really strong swimmer, thought it's one of my useless skills but who knows.i pulled my shirt off and dived in
"Hold on,please, am coming for you"
I swam through the flowing river,the rythmn and speed of it's flow was even strong enough to move me.The water flow pulled her in and out again,she coughed like she was choking to deah,her eyes were red ,it's obvious,the water was drowning her.I speed up,she burst out crying like a baby,she was scared and terrified,as she coughed breathlessly.
I was swimming faster but the river was flowing really fast,she got down into it I could only see her hands floating,I got scared and thought I was going to lose her right in my front,my eyes became wet as I struggled through,but I didn't give that a fear a chance to weaken me.
I had to stretch my hand to grab her.
"I love you beauty"I screamed on top of my voice in tears, like it was a strength booster ,I got her finger tip,I stretched more and with all my might grabbed her hand and pulled her up.
Then drew her to me.She hugged on my body like a convulsing child staring around scared and coughing hesterically. She locked her legs round my waist,she was lighter than I thought,and the water made it easier.
"I got you,I got you,am here,okay"I whispered into her ear and rubbed her back
She coughed out water nervously ,crying.I swam out of the flowing part of the river.
We got to a more narrow part of the river.
Then she recovered from her fright ,she hugged me and cried loudly.I sighed with my eyes closed relieved,I damped my wet eyes Dru,I was so proud of me ,I was able to save her.I didn't know when I pecked her forehead and hugged her tightly,then slowly I wasn't paying attention before,her soft panting her voice as she breathe heavily,her b**bs pressed to my chest ,made me want her ,the urge was something I can't stop,but I don't want to take advantage of her so I waved it up.
Then we stared at eachother,I wondered what she was thinking at that moment ,I could only stare at her vibrating lips,shyly she put her legs down from my body,then suddenly her knee locked between my thighs.."It's rock hard"she gasped,I got all red and embarrassed,why should this happen at a situation like this
"I didn't mean to..I..
She kissed me immediately shutting me up,I responded like my life depends on it
She stopped and pull off her blouseI stared at her , hungry for every part of her
Slowly she put her hands round my neck.
"I love you Bruno".
She confessed,my lips drew into a smile,I want to make her mine forever.
"I love you more"I chuckled and hugged her
I pulled her chin and kissed her, my hand wrapped round her waist ,pulling her closer slowly.
***JESSI'S POV***
I followed her voice after I heard that loud scream,I pray I don't get lost too.i searched the bushes and every dark corner if the woods."Beauty!!!".I called out,she better be good,am scared as fuck right now,am not going to risk losing my best friend."Beauty!!!"I yelled out in panic "please be fine Beauty"I mumbled and made my way down the valley,at the bottom of the hill,I got to a river and thank goodness I found them.
I was relieved then I was stunned ."What the heck are they doing!!" I screamed in my head ,shocked yet fabragasted. "Is that not Bea's blouse floating away?"I asked an imaginary being,glancing the by gone blouse then back to them.
This people are boiling, this river hot!!,wow !!!,they totally ignored my presence,I was clearly enjoying the moment till they got dirty, I accepted my reality,am not that rotten. "Hey,you guys are roomies right save it for tonight, stop with that,it's gross!!"
Beauty was the first to react, she covered her mouth ,embarrassed."What are you doing ...here...jessie?"She asked nervously.Well bruno doesn't even seem to notice my presence,maybe he did notice but just don't care,he kept on trying to kiss Beauty still pouting his lips,untill she slapped him back to his senses. "So you asking me why am here?my bestfriend disappeared into the woods,full of wild creatures,then while searching for her,I heard her scream out very loud with a panicking tone in her voice, you expect me to relax with others back there?"I said with arched brows."Oh...."Beauty replied sadly. "..also your blouse is gone"i stated blankly pointed at the river side where I saw her floating blouse .
"what!"She turned and swam a little and searched for it but it's already too late.Bruno laughed at her,she hits him playfully.
"Come on you guys ,everyone must be worried by now"i reminded the love birds."I cant go like this ,with just bra"Beauty replied,covering her upper body with her hands "Well that's your punishment for fornicating in this pure virgin river"I snapped back."How do you know she's a virgin?"Beauty asked."How do you know it's a she?"Bruno countered.After staring at them for the moment ,pissed.
"Am out of here!"i announced and turned to go."Please jessi,I don't want to go this way "Beauty pleaded.I stopped and groaned tiredly ."Allow me"Bruno replied and put his jacket on her,she blushed and stroked her hair."You're a life saver bruno"."not Bruno,baaaabe"bruno corrected .She bit her lower lips and smiled."Babe"she accepted the correction .Bruno pulled her closer, they kissed.
I rolled my eyes."Come on let's get going"i instructed. Bruno helped her put the jacket on as if shs was a kid. ,he then wore only his singlet.We got back to the place,Ferd mapped out for our camping for the night,as soon we arrived,everyone rushed towards us to know what happened."Why are you wearing bruno's jacket?"Kathy asked,she must be the one to ask the question."Yes and why are both of you wet?"one of the models asked in addition.Others stare inquisitively at us."What happened ?"May contributed.Bruno wanted to say something,I already knew it will never be good,he was feeling on top of the world recently because of their river romance so he's prone to messing up.I decided to interfere.
"Actually she almost got drown in the river back there,her blouse floated away,as she struggled but thank goodness Bruno was fast enough ,he saved her and thought he'd help her with his jacket,since she got no other choice "I stated and glanced at Bea,her lips pronounced "thank you"in silent tone.I winked at back her,she was grateful,yeah she should be,am the best. Kathy and the others looked at Bruno for confirmation."Right Sir Bruno?"I asked but Bruno was behaving like an idiot.He was being obvious,staring at Bea's lips and smiling like roasted goat.Beauty slapped his shoulder in anger."Isn't it true babe.Sir..Sir .Bruno"she stuttered realizing her mistake ,she met my angry eyes,her lips drew into an awkward grin.I slapped my forehead."Yes its true "Bruno snapped tartly.
"Fatty just called Sir Bruno babe?..."kathy asked suspicious,ignoring Bruno's response."Yes I did hear babe"eva,one of the models added."Enough of the questions let's get working "Ferd commanded .I never ever been this grateful that Ferd was our C.E.O This time his call absolutely distracted everyone from Bruno and Beauty.I frowned at beauty who knew she messed up.
After our photogarphs were taken,the editing crew were done with their work.It got darker we made a fire to keep us warm.Mrs Mirabel helped with the foodies".Our tents were already set up,so we camped around the fire,discussing about our discoveries so far,I stood up and got some pancakes and a cup of hot tea from Mrs Mirabel.I was drinking from my cup of tea,to keep warm ,when I noticed Bruno,spaced out in thoughts. I leaned forward and whispered to Beauty."can you please tell sir bruno that he should stop smiling like a roasted goat and for crying out loud he should stop staring at you".She nodded then she turned to bruno.
"You have such a nice smile".I heard her compliment him .I spit out my drink,shocked,before I could say anything,Others glanced towards us in a way that stopped me.I laughed out awkward to distract everyone and drank my tea with anger boiling in me like a volcano, am gonna blow up anytime soon and I won't hold back."So Mr Bruno,what do you think of Columbia ?"Mrs Mirabel asked.Bruno got up to answer her, he loves talking while standing,I used the opportunity to tell Beauty to adjust away from him.we both adjusted and the space between beauty and him was much for him not to even touch her."Am a food person,so I must confess,I dont know if was the food that stole my heart or the cook"he complemented with a wink .
"Stop now"Mrs Mirabel replied and blushed.We laughed out ,we all agreed her food was fantastic."Gracias todos"she appreciated in Spanish."I love the nature ,the atmosphere and the scents of the trees ,...oh and their music am a big fan of reggaeton"May contributed.
"Well I have a special suprise for you amigos"Mrs Mirabel announced .Bruno sat down and noticed the wide space between us,he started adjusting slowly towards Beauty and I,we did same,whenever he adjusted closer ,then we shifted further away from him. He continued ,then I had an idea,I got up and sat beside him,between him and Bea.He stared at me frown.I shined my 32 at him."Mr Bruno come forward please,open the van "Mrs Mirabel instructed .
He did as he instructed .Suprisely It was not just any van,a music van and then there was Daddy Yankee, the popular reggaeton artist, he started performing,the famous Despacito.The suprise drove the girls crazy.They all are huge fans,same with me.Everyone got into the music and danced with merry.I totally forgot about being the protective friend and rushed to the front , twerking to the sound of the music
**BRUNO'S POV**
It was an opportunity for us,i glanced at her from afar where I was seated with Mrs.Mirabel.,she winked and I smiled back.I was excited, I stood up and walked through the cheering crowd to get to her.Just then daddy yankee stopped performing. "Hey someone's a little not happy when am here,come forward please,my lady"he announced with the microphone.Everyone turned to the direction.He was talking to Beauty.She waved at him shyly,my feet frozed to the floor.He got down from his live band van and walked to her.He offered her a hand.
She reluctantly accepted after being pushed by jessi.The guy started preforming again,smiling at her as she was dancing .I wasn't feeling the music anymore, that guy will go home with flat tires either the one between his legs on the one under his van"I vowed in my mind.Mrs Mirabel servants shared the beers and barbecues .We drank and ate till we got tired.
Hours later,I woke up and found most of us sleeping outside around the burned out firewoods.Beauty wasn't here.I looked around with blurred vision,yet no sign of her. I quickly cleaned my eyes to look closer. "What if she's with the daddy yankee guy?"that question gave me some kind of suprising strength.I quickly got up and started tapping on everyone lying with me there. "Where's Beauty,I can't find beauty?"I saidto each of them."Who?"Kathy replied sleepy or else she would have ignored me ,after she understood I was asking for Beauty.I tapped another person .It was't helping ,I got restless,I brought my phone,as beads of swear summoned on my forehead.I dialed her line severally, finally she answered.i heard the voice from the phone but it sounded like she was here with me.
"You're really troublesome you know that"
I turned and found her standing beside our tent,grinning uncontrollably.I smiled back relieved.She bit her lower lip and pulled her finger,continuously making the 'come to me'sign.Excitedly I took the shot,along the way,i mistakenly stepped on someone .
"Am sorry ,so sorry"I pleaded softly in a whisper, luckily he was deep asleep to care.Beauty was dying of laughter with her hand covering her mouth,as soon as I got to where she was,I wanted to hug her but she went inside the tent instead.I followed immediately .
"You got me worried "I said pouting my lip for a kiss,she pressed her finger on my lips instead
."We should sleep"she replied and walked majestically to the bed and laid down leaving me there emotionally drained."Mummy!!"I called her in a childish sobby tone.She was holding back her laughter,she turned and glared at me.
"Am not your mummy,its time for bed,so don't get naughty"she scolded then she turned back to the other side.I sadly went to the bed.I wanted to put my hand on her waist,she slapped it off,I did it again same thing repeated ,I let her be and closed my eyes.Frew seconds she took my hand and turned to me ,resting on my hand ,her legs cuddled up with mine.I lookes at her and smiled, she smiled back with her eyes closed.I kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly
I wished there would never be a daybreak,let's stay like this forever.Just you and me in our own world no disturba....just then,Someone drew the tent open,interrupting our moment ."You guys!!"she snapped .We jumped up starled.It was jessi. "Jessi what's your problem?"I whispered .furious ,frowning her. "Jessi not agaaain "Beauty said sleepily in a pissed groan ."I just want to remind you guys,pregnancy is real make sure you are ready , also put off the lights before anything because we can see your shadows from outside "jessi confirmed.
"Ok that's it ,now get out of here"Beauty got up and dragged her outside .I heard them laugh outside."Jessi must be a mosquito in her last life,very annoying "I snapped impatiently .Then my face brightened when Beauty came back inside our tent."Shhh"she whispered crawling towards me and blew off the candle lights.i felt her finger on me in the dark and then they tickled me.
"Dont you dare laugh"she said holding back her own laughter,I was reaching my limits too.She noticed and caught my face ,leaned forward and kissed me,we both lay back on the bed ,wrapped in eachothers arms.
"Hmmm,you smell good"She said sniffing my neck ,her nose poking my face cuddling going to rest on my chest, we chuckled ,i kissed her forehead ,then I noticed she fallen asleep already.I can't even sleep again,I have the river scene on my mind like it was installed in there, it was my first and I never imagined it to be this amazing.She cuddled tigher,maybe she's cold.I drew the blanket over our bodies and closed my eyes
**BEAUTY'S POV**
I woke up and found him sound asleep,I smiled at him who would believe am i dreamingI am sir bruno's girlfriend now right, a one sided crush for three years .am I getting played again.no wave it off ,you see the way he looks at you,he's real for you .I said to myself .I stare at him smiling ,can't really decide which one is more handsome .When he was awake or while sleeping I leaned and kissed his lips gently in order not to wake him,I kissed him again,then wanted to go back to sleep.he caught my face in the dark and we kissed passionately.
"You should stop stealing kisses from me without my permission "He replied smiling with his eyes closed.
I chuckled and got back to my position as we both cuddled up again.He was really sleepy so I let him.I stared at him while resting on his chest, I had another weird dream that night .
"Why am I so slim in my dream"i asked myself. It was me and yet like it's also like I was another person.I sighed deeply .I wonder when i will stop having such dreams.
