"Wow! What an excellent dance you both did! Trust me, you both look great together on the dance floor.!" Mrs. Hutson's face turned bright as she excitedly asserted. While his husband nodded in agreement with his wife's words and added," Yes, your mother is right, Son. You both made a perfect pair together!" He laughed out at last, with happiness while his wife joined him chuckling.

Edwin's face got a satisfied smile to hear his parents' admiring words for Rebecca and him, and he instantly thanked them next later with a glad face," Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad."

Mr.and Mrs.Hutson nodded with wide smiles.

While, on the other side, Rebecca's face turned embarrassed to hear his parents' words, and all she could do was smile awkwardly.

"It has already been dinner time, we should now dine together." She looked at her husband and son. While adding further," And today we got one more sweet guest with us, Rebecca! So, it's going to be a great dinner time today." She glanced at Rebecca brightly while saying the last sentence and holding her hand warmly.

Rebecca's face turns stunned to hear Mrs. Hutson's words and she hesitantly tells, "B-But Mam, it should be family dinner, how could I-I join you, as an outsider?

Edwin's brows knitted to hear her. As he doesn't want her to think like that. He wanted to tell her that she and her child are his family.

Mrs.Hutson and Mr.Hutson looked at each other with an upset look and then turned their heads to her.

"Who said? You are an outsider, Rebecca?" Mrs.Hutson showed fake anger.

Rebecca turned awkward and tried to explain," I just…"

"Rebecca." Mr. Hutson's voice made her look at him.

"Yes, Sir."

"What I told you on the last day of my retirement, treat me like your family and you are always welcome to my house. Then how could you be an outsider now?" Mr. Hutson's words made Rebecca speechless while Mrs.Hutson and Edwin felt glad to hear Mr.Hutson's words.

"Did you hear what my husband said, so don't say that again! You are also like a family member for us." Mrs. Hutson's eyes filled with motherly love while Rebecca felt everything going on too fast for her to digest.

Hearing the words 'Family' and 'Dinner', her eyes turned moist. Even in her own family, dining together never comes up. But today after getting this sweet gesture from Edwin's mother and her previous boss, she couldn't help but feel deeply touched and emotional at this moment. She doesn't want to remember her past life with her stepfamily, but today she again remembers how they all eat at the dining table together as a family while she's always eaten alone in her home as a slave.

How could she not feel touched? When some outsiders who just met her a few hours before, already accept her as their family member and even treated her so well to dining with them together. While her own family never wanted to see her.

With Edwin, Mr. And Mrs.Hutson noticed her tears and were immediately filled with concern for her.

While Mrs.Hutson soon touched her shoulder to get her back to look at her with little taken back instantly.

"Rebecca, what happened, dear? Why did you cry?"

Rebecca's eyelashes flickered while Edwin's forehead creased with worry.

She looked at Edwin and his parents who were waiting for her to answer. As she could see the worry in their eyes for her.

She doesn't know how to feel to see them so much concern for her as an outsider. When they don't know anything about her. How could they be so pure in heart?

"I just remembered my mom." Rebecca weakly responded

Hearing her response, Mr. and Mrs.Huston felt sorry for her while Edwin could sense her emotion. The way she was treated by her own family, and suddenly getting a warm welcome from his parents made her remember the past day.

"Ohh, Dear!" Mrs.Hutson immediately pulled her between her arms and gave her a warm hug.

Rebecca hugged her back.

"It should be hard for you. But please think of us as your family and don't be upset anymore."

Mrs.Hutson's sweet words made her shortly calm and she nodded.

"That's enough to be upset. Now let's enjoy our dinner. I started to feel hungry ladies." Mr.Hutson's words made everyone chuckle.

Mrs.Hutson and Rebecca released themselves from the hug and nodded to him.

When Edwin saw her finally happy, felt glad to let her meet his parents.

After walking to the dinner table they all take their seats while Edwin sits beside her.

The table contained lots of uncountable varieties of food in the center.

A few moments later some servants came to their table and started serving food on their plates.

Rebecca chooses only pasta for herself as all dishes look bland to her, according to her taste bud. She likes spicy food but the food here is so dull for her pregnancy taste.

Edwin's eyes always look at her with a corner eye and immediately guess the issues. He knew what she wanted and shortly he asked the waiter to arrange something healthy but spicy and flavourful.

Rebecca, who had just plainly eaten a few bites of pasta, immediately inhaled the aroma of the spicy dish coming from behind her and she could sense herself turning to stare, from where the aroma was coming from. But soon she realized the waiter was coming with a new dish and to her surprise, it was served to her the next moment.

"Mam, this is a new dish made by our chef. I hope you like it." The waiter presents the dish and just walks away.

Rebecca didn't understand why he gave her this but soon she forgot about that to see the flavourful dish in front of her and started eating it.

Edwin couldn't help but smile to see her childish side. This is the first time she had done something like this and he liked it.
