"So, Busy schedule?" Julia inquiries while taking a bite from her avocado sandwiches. As it was already lunchtime.

"No, Mr.Sam took care of everything for a whole week. So, now there is nothing too much to do for me!" Rebecca sighed as she drank up her orange juice.

Julia rolled her eyes to see how Rebecca looked disappointed to not get work while she would be too glad if something happened like this to her.

"That's a great thing, why are you making a sour face? Julia raised her brows while her hands put down the sandwich back to the plate.

" It's not like that! I just got bored as there is not much to do…"

"I joined because I'm feeling better but now…" She again sighed and this time long enough.

"Ohh come on Babes!"

"Now you look workaholic manic!" Julia said, annoyed.

Rebecca chuckled to hear her words and responded.

"Yes! I think so..."

Julia shook her head feeling lost.

"Damn girl, you should be happy about this news. Don't forget about your condition. I think you shouldn't do too many tasks and also treat this less work as a bonus relaxation."

Rebecca felt her words were true and right. If there is no work, she will not stress too much and it's going to be great for her baby's health.

"I think you are right, Julia." Listening to her friend's words Julia smiled and felt glad that finally, Rebecca understood her words.

"Thank goodness! You finally said those words!" Julia added with teasing. While Rebecca chuckled and nodded to her.

"Mr.Edwin, you asked for me?" As soon as she completed her lunch, she got a call from the main office that Edwin was asking for her.

"Yes, Come in!" Edwin, who was busy with files, finally watched Rebecca coming, immediately closed it.

Rebecca reached to the table and looked at him while waiting for his further words.

Edwin saw her standing so, first, he asked her to sit on the chair, and she immediately took the seat.

"Miss Rebecca, my dad organized the big party for me to be posted as a president. So, I want you to attend this party with me as my competitor." Edwin calmly explained everything to her while she felt little take back to hear the last sentence.

"Com...Competitor?" She hesitantly inquired while Edwin slowly nodded his head to her answer.

"Yes."

Rebecca felt a little nervous as she never attended this type of party and second, being her boss's competitor, she don't think it was alright.

"Miss Rebecca…"

"Huh?" She comes out from her thoughts.

"Are you listening to me?" Edwin asked while his brows knitted together showing he is now serious.

Rebecca gulped her saliva to feel his seriousness and finally nodded her head.

"Yes...I heard it!"

Edwin nodded and added, "So, let's be ready in the evening. You can go home now."

Rebecca felt uneasy and immediately spoke out, making a rejection," Mr.Edwin, I don't feel like it's a good idea…"

Edwin looked at her with confused stares.

"What do you mean?"

"I never attended this type of party before. I don't think it's a great choice to go with me!" Rebecca told the truth while she wanted to buy the refusal.

"I don't think it's an issue. I'll be there with you. So, you don't need to worry! I know you will manage!" Edwin wanted to attend the party with her in the first place. So, he is trying to use his talk skills on her.

"But Mr.Edwin…"

"Miss Rebecca, Are you trying to refuse your boss?" Edwin used his boss card on her.

"It's not like that! Mr.Edwin…" Rebecca struggled to explain herself to him.

"Miss Rebecca, do you remember to fulfill my two wishes...in exchange for your help to get rid of bullies!" Edwin now thought to use those wishes to make her come with him.

Rebecca was taken back to listen to the 'Wish' thing.

"Y...Yes, I...remember it!" She hesitantly responded.

Edwin smirked playfully to hear her.

"Good! So, I want you to complete my first wish…"

"What?" Rebecca blinked her eyes with confusion.

"I want you to attend the party with me!" He declared while Rebecca couldn't help at this moment but bit her lower lips felt stuck in her place.

She knew she couldn't deny him anymore. If this is his first wish.

She felt she was tricked by Edwin, but still, she can't argue with him, as he is the main boss. Her salary source.

So, all she can do is agree with him and she did it at last.

"Alright, Mr.Edwin! As you order!" She plastered a fake smile while all she felt a little frustrated.

Rebecca texted Julia and asked her to go back home with her as she got a new task for which she needed her help urgently.

Julia quickly replied to her text that she needed at least an hour before she could leave the office and Rebecca agreed to it.

"What happened Rebecca? Why are you leaving the office so early and what task are you talking about in text?" Julia inquired as they both met outside the office to take the cab to go back home.

Rebecca bit her lower lips with little frustration as her brows arched with uneasiness.

"Julia, Mr.Edwin asked me to attend the banquet with him as a partner!"

Julia's jaw dropped when she heard this news.

"Wow!"

"That's great news! Babe!" Julia exclaimed with happiness.

"How could this be great news?" Her face frowned when she suddenly saw her friend too excited.

"Babe! You are going to be the big boss's partner. You should be happy. It's not a small thing." Julia explained while she waved her hand to stop a cab that was now coming towards them.

Rebecca looked at her with a straight face as she didn't feel happy at all. She wanted to stay far from Edwin. But all this mess created her to go closer to him which she never wanted in her dream also. As she doesn't want to imagine something.

"Babe! Don't think too much! It's just a party and for you to relax, let me inform you. I'll also be there as the whole staff got an invitation from the president."

"What? Are you serious?" Rebecca's eyes widened.

Julia chuckled to see her reaction and nodded.

"Yes!"

"So, you are not alone there! I hope now you will feel relaxed!"

Rebecca's lips curled up to hear this news as she nodded immediately.

"Yes!"

"If you are with me. I'll be less nervous!" Rebecca told her the truth while Julia smiled.

"You should wear this dress…"

"It goes well with your figure!"

Julia takes out the blue-color long sequin gown from her cupboard for Rebecca.

Rebecca looked at the straight long gown and felt it was too beautiful. It's deep 'V' neck gave this dress a bold and sexy look.

However, she doesn't feel comfortable wearing it. So, she told Julia about this.

"Julia, the dress is beautiful but I don't feel comfortable wearing that!"

Julia sighed to hear that.

"Babe at least tried it once. If you do not feel comfortable we will choose something else. I have a few dresses so you don't need to worry about it!" She explained while Rebecca nodded.

"Now go and change!" Julia held her shoulders and pushed her to go towards the washroom.

Rebecca shook her head and sighed before locking the door of the washroom.

"Ohh my goodness…"

"You look amazing Rebecca! Just like a beauty queen!"

Julia shouted with excitement as soon as Rebecca came out from the washroom wearing the blue gown.

Rebecca looked at herself in the mirror and felt the neck was too deep. She couldn't handle this much showing up her skin.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Julia comes behind her.

Rebecca turned back and looked at her with a shaking head.

"It's beautiful but I'm not comfortable!" She truly doesn't feel like going out wearing this.

"Babe! I think you look gorgeous on it!" Julia responded back.

"But I don't feel…"

Before she could complete her words, the doorbell rang.

"Wait a minute!" Julia said and left to check on the door.

Rebecca sat on the bed and waited for Julia to come. But to her surprise, Julia didn't come back alone. She comes with a woman who is in her forty-plus age. She was smiling when she looked at her.

On the other side, Julia's eyes also shine with happiness.

"Julia, who is this lady?" Rebecca showed a small smile to a lady with respect.

Julia came towards her and said in an exciting tone, "Rebecca, this lady comes to dress you up for the party! Mr.Edwin sent this lady personally for you!"

Rebecca blinked her eyes in disbelief while her mouth gasped to hear that.

"Wh...What...What are you saying?" Rebecca couldn't help but ask in disbelief.

But before Julia could answer, The woman responded in hurry, "Miss Rebecca, Hi, it's Helly! Mr.Edwin gave me a contract to dress you up for tonight's party! So, I'm here!"

The woman smiles warmly. Rebecca now understood and asked," But I can dress up on my own, I don't think I need someone for that…"

"Rebecca…!" Julia yelled in a small voice.

The lady chuckled and said," Yes, you can be ready on your own. But this party is a big event and Mr.Edwin wanted you to look good!"

Hearing that Rebecca's cheeks heated up while Julia felt happy to hear this word.

"Miss, please don't mind my friend's words. It's her first time attending a big event. But I hope you will make her goddess!" Julia teasingly announced which made Rebecca bit her lower lips and glared at her friend.

"Julia!"

Julia giggled while the lady also smiled.

"Alright! I'll try my best but I think your friend is already a natural beauty!"

"Yup! She is!" Julia responded with a big smile.

Rebecca felt silent, feeling a little shy.

"Alright then, let's start the process! We will first choose the dress for Miss Rebecca." The lady announced to make them nod.

The lady calls someone and a few moments later two men come to the house with a few dresses on their hands.

Rebecca felt a little stunned as she only saw this happening in the movie. On the other side, Julia helps the lady to choose one beautiful dress for her friend. In which she could be comfortable and at the same time look stunning.
